Doddridge Animal Clinic Corpus Christi, Texas

I have a small dog (had her parents as well from puppies until they passed away years ago), and have literally volunteered endless hours assisting strays in the Midwest and in Corpus Christi. We are allergic to cats, but my daughter & I care for a stray cat that landed at our doorstep and has been TNR'd (Trapped, Neutered). My daughter is leaving for college, and Doddridge is now the closest location. Simply put, I asked the front office this date if they could board the pets and perform the new pet exams/any needed vaccinations during their boarding, and reiterated that due to my paralysis/health--choosing their clinic due to their close proximity was now most convenient for me, inclusive of the fact that I was referred to them by one of their clients who has had 3 pets cared by the clinic for over 5 years. I was informed "no", and that an appointment needed scheduled first, whereby I reminded the representative that no appointment was available until after boarding was needed (which is why I telephoned versus scheduling online). The representative simply, insincerely agreed versus apologizing for the inconvenience, versus inviting me to still consider scheduling a future appointment; versus offering to board them if I was able to have the cat fully vaccinated elsewhere, such as PAAC, versus offering to board our vaccinated dog, simultaneously proffering a new patient exam, etc.--rather she simply agreed.

Just moved to Corpus Christi and needed a Vet. Very quick to get appointments and staff is insanely friendly. Doctor and vet tech are very accommodating to nervous pets. Prices are very comparable to my previous vet. ????

I took my Lucy for her annual,everything went great! I have been having trouble getting my Chi eat her heartworm. They had the best solution! One shot,and she was good for a whole year!

I've been taking my dogs to Dodridge Animal Clinic for over 35 years & haven't had any issues or problems with them yet. The staff has always been professional, caring & honest, I couldn't ask for a better place to take my pets regarding their health & care.

The doctor was very sensitive to my cats nervousness about being out away from home. Check ups were thorough and efficiently done.

I have had all of my past and present animals service from the professional Veterinarian and courteous staff members for about 5 years now. I feel good about the quality and consistency in care. The boarding has also been super ! I recommend this business as a top notch care facility for you to experience too.

My Uncle passed away in January. We were very close. He had no children just his dog Louie. Me and my husband took him in to our family. We love him and we are new to dog ownership. The vet and her assistant were so amazing my last visit. They really want to help us and make sure Louie has some good years left (he’s already 11). I am very grateful for their knowledge and graciousness. He’s the last part of my uncle I have on this earth and I want to thank this place for helping make sure I have more time with him.

Zoey (14 yrs old) and I were worked in at the end of a Friday. I had virtually no wait! The vet techs were so kind, professional and thorough. I saw a vet I'd not met before. She was amazing! It was not an easy visit at all. Zoey is very I'll and will need to be euthanized. The Dr however was so patient, explaining her condition and why various treatments might work but given her age and the progression of her illness were not likely to help. Xrays confirmed her prognosis.. I so appreciated her honesty and compassion, both for Zoey and for me. She gave me her recommendation but made it clear that she did not want to pressure me in any way; the decision was entirely mine and she would respect that. My past few visits I have seen other vets new to me. Every one of them has been so professional, kind, listening, patient. I am so grateful to have a pet clinic with such a high caliber of veterinarians, no matter who my dog(s) and I see.

VET was great. 9 yr old dog lost a tooth. Antibiotics for a week, just in case. Had to wait days to get in, only issue. Staff was great.

My sister, Judy Mayberry, has been a pet owner client of Doddridge Animal Clinic since Doctor Rasco opened his practice at Staples and Doddridge in the late 70’s. Dr. Rasco has always been a very caring to all the pets who came in his clinic and thoughtful of pet parents who may not be able to afford expensive care options. Since Dr. Rasco has retired one can still find the good care and thoughtfulness Dr Rasco practiced every day. Even though our pets are under my sisters account, I have brought our pets in for care over the last 5-7 years. In that time, I have found Drs. Beasom and Cuica to be awesome! The office staff, assistants and kennel attendants are all friendly, helpful and care greatly about their pet customers! Thank you all!

Have taken my pets to Doddridge for many years. They've always been responsive, professional and helpful. My dogs love them and seem to feel safe there. 100% recommend

I have been rescuing dogs for quite some time most find me though and my go to professionals are ONLY DODDRIDGE never make me feel less important bc I live alone and always have to know what I can afford before services performed but they all there are so kind and understand I refer everyone I meet to them ONLY!!

I have had a hard time finding a vet since moving to Texas and had quite a few places tell me that they weren’t accepting new pets due to decreased hours. I had an issue in my apartment and the gentleman that came to fix the issue said that he takes his 2 dogs here but I was still wary. I ended up making an appt online, got a call to verify, and went to the appt as scheduled. I was quite pleased with the veterinarian we saw and will most def be going back. We have finally found a vet but also one that I trust, which is the most important thing to me and my fur baby. Highly highly suggest them and they can get you in right away!!

They take the time to make sure your pet is well taken care of. There is rarely more than a couple of minute wait time to get in. My fur babies love every single last employee. I'm so glad I chose to do business with Doddridge.

I had the option of either waiting inside or in my car and they would call me when it was time for my pet's appointment.
