If i could give this place ZERO stars, I 100% would because this establishment doesn't even deserve 1 star. First of all, this place doesn't even show up on GPS and will take you to a random graveyard. Second, once you arrive at the rescue, it's literally located at a very DIRTY and filthy place. The person managing the place was so demeaning when my family walked up there with our masks on and demanded we take them off if we wanted to see their dogs. it is the middle of a pandemic with numerous people being hospitalized and DYING because of COVID. i dont know how delusional you have to be to not understand that. The whole place looked FILTHY, the owners were rude, and we definitely didnt even go in to see the dogs after that mistreatment. this place needs to be shut down.

Poor condition much like so much of flour bluff. Dogs did not appear well cared for ....at least someone is trying I guess. Shade was scarce.

I was told to come and pick up the puppy that I have been preparing for today and I get there and the woman told me that I could not have her. Her reason for not giving her to me was because she hadn’t taken her to the vet to get her shots. I called the previous day and she told me that she would have her ready by 10-11 today. Today I get there and all she did was fight with me and give me every excuse as to why I couldn’t take her today. I gave up and decided fighting with this woman was pointless. Advice: do not go and look at the dogs because she is not willing to give them up.

I took my mother here today to look for a dog. She needed a companion dog. When we got there we had to walk to back of the shelter and dogs were lose in a cyclone fencing. An older man came outside and demanded we take our masks off because the masks are politics. I don’t believe politics or beliefs should be involved when adopting a dog. Covid -19 is a worldwide pandemic, and proper cautions should be taken. The man was very rude and unprofessional. The dogs did not appear to be well taken care. We left and went somewhere else to get a dog. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and go somewhere else to adopt.

Showed up right near closing time and the man who owns it was nice and informative. We asked a lot of questions and he was able to answer and the dogs seemed like they were enjoying one another.

Very helpful staff found a cute puppy.

Alot of small breed dogs & puppies, but dirty & was not appealing to adopt a flea filthy dog. Just wasn't impressed at all. First glance was locked up abused animals! Not recommended.

Just for what they are doing

Not very inviting with all the "No Trespassing/Private" signs out front. Inside is very smelly. Couldn't stand the smell and had to leave.

Went and it looked very unsanitary. The moment my boyfriend and I walked up the man tells us to take off our masks. What? Why? We are in a pandemic? Then asked him if there were more dogs than what was just there and he said no that’s all. I put my mask back on after taking it off for only a couple of minutes because I felt uncomfortable. Then when we were leaving more dogs come from another cage closer to the back. He looked at me and my boyfriend very ugly when we put the masks back on. The dogs seemed very aggressive.

I was supposed to buy a certain breed of dog for 100$ but when I came to pick up puppy Judy had lied to me and sold puppy for 350$ to someone else and did not even give me all my money back only half of it.

Gentleman who answered rude and dismissave didnt attempt to aid in adopting a dog needs better customer service if really a rescue

Dogs are left outside in freezing weather, kennels are covered in poop and grass over grown,building lools abandoned. DONT waste your time on this place.

I have to save the two Judy's do a wizbang job with all of the dog one Judy does the grooming and she is fantastic she knows how keep the dogs calm and happy she groomed my poodle Theadore for year and just loved going to get his hair cutwe ended up loosing him and after some time we were rrady for another companion so we went to see the other Judy who helped us pick out our perfect little girl who has already captured our heart so if your looking for a grommer or a pet rescue one and check out their adorable puppy dogs they need love and companionship too Thanks for reading oh and by the way they can always use donations money food treats toys puppy pads etc. Thank you for helping our dogs just drop by and play for a little while have a nice day????????????

It only has small breeds. The dogs look happy. The two guys that run it are very nice guys.

Coastal Bend Small Breed is a good place small dogs. Judy Helped me out . My Brother had passed away and lefted 5 Chihuahua 3 puppy's which I was able to place right away to good homes. But I was lefted with the 2 older dogs . I asked so many people if the wanted them but since the were older no one wanted them . I couldn't keep them you see my husband is extremely Allergic . But with Judy help she took them in. Please my friend Spayed neuter your pets it's best for them.???? If the anyone could help with Donations. She would be truly grateful. ????

Judie has made the transition a great experience. In such short notice she took my dog in and made me feel comfortable with my decision.

Received a notice about a dog for adoption through adopt a pet that was supposed to be at this rescue. The e-mails I sent were unanswered. The phone is disconnected. Humane society in Corpus as well as local animal control do not have contact or knowledge about them. They may no longer be in operation or have been hijacked by a scam operation.

They take very good of your fury friend.

I tried to surrender a stray kitty but they were at capacity. Understandable. They were nice about it.

I have adopted my amazing cat ???????????? from here who i adore????????????. ???? his name was Bebe Pringles but when we would call him that he wouldn't react so we renamed him buddy and he now reacts. He is the most ????sweetest, cuddly kitten????. He's 6 months old and he is just adorable. I believe Saturday would be a week of having him. We got him a pink collar they ran out of blue ones but its okay because only real men wear pink.???? ???? he eats both hard and soft food and also spoiled rotten. Now i would like to add that when i went there i also seen 2 other black smaller kittens who need homes. They are both boys, brothers! I couldn't separate one from the other they seemed so close. So with that being said if anyone would like 2 kittens i think you guys should go and check them out. Maybe adopt both or one. Myself didn't have the heart to separate them and i seen "Bebe Pringles" who was on top of their cage who Immediately just started purring, rubbing against his cage for attention and i just fell in love with him ???? and I'm so happy i went to this place first! Also they groom animals!
