Wonderful staff. Cute notes when pets have been good. Get report cards! Inside pet smart! Kept charging my bank account after I called in and cancelled the cat's automatic payments! Never got my money back either!

My older dog was ripped into by another dog. Had to take her to hospital late evening. She received gentle, concerning care, and I received thorough explanations as how to care for her after she was released.

This is specifically in relation to trying to speak to someone on the phone. They are unresponsive; it can take 45 minutes to reach them on the phone, and their phone system will repeatedly tell you to leave a message (it's a hospital; no one calls to leave a message at a hospital). The most frustrating vet in Corpus, as you can tell from other reviews.

We had to put our Dog Layla to sleep. She couldn't see or hear. Our poor baby had Cancer before this. The Vets and the fellow employees were so kind. We received a card in the mail. They sent us a card with their kind thoughts. I will never forget how they took the time to send us this. It means alot to us.

Every single time I’ve been here the front desk Is very slow. They will tell you to come during their “lunch break” which mean waiting for an extra hour cause no one is there. Very unprofessional. On top of that they never make appointments. It’s “drop off only” which they don’t tell you until after you made the appointment and got there. So your dog will be waiting for 5 hrs minimum before you can pick it up. Vets are good and some of the receptionists are as well but it gets too clogged with people

I've had an appointment scheduled for my pet for almost two months and instead of notifying me after making the appointment they wait till the day before the appointment to notify they are not going to see him because he is a new patient. I could of used the information earlier to find someone reliable.

My 5 star rating is specifically to the experience I had today on 5/29/21. Banfield otherwise SERIOUSLY needs to open another or more locations somewhere in Corpus! I'm originally from Corpus but living in San Antonio almost 6 years now. Banfield has made it very easy and less stressful in making sure my chiweenie Max gets the care he needs regardless of where I am. Today was especially the case. I'm in town visiting family for the weekend. I knew this location was going to be ungodly busy as they always seem understaffed lately. My dog today split a part of his left paw open on something and I wasn't sure what to do to care for it. I brought him in without an appointment and patiently waited whatever amount of time needed to at least get some instructions from the Dr (overall took about an hour of waiting). Dr. Lyda was the treating vet today and I'm VERY thankful to them as they took time in between their very busy and very booked schedule to see my dog and get a treatment plan going. I left with instructions, medications, and they even had time to give him an injection of antibiotics. Thank you to the girl at the front desk and Dr. Lyda for helping my dog and I out in my moment of panic. Banfield, get on it already and get more locations opened up in Corpus!

Have you been their lately? Phones are never answered. Employee turn around is bad. After 15 years I’m out? One day I showed up and they were closed on a open scheduled day. Good Friday. Change the hours to accommodate themselves not the customer. I tried getting an appointment and had to wait 1 week. Customer service is gone downhill. I don’t know anybody but a couple of people. My three babies will be going to a new place and I know they will be attended nicely. My gain their loss.
