More interested in money and up-charges and hidden costs. Expensive. Not willing to work with owners on payments and pricing. Not for working class people. Also try to squeeze in unnecessary and cruel de-clawing procedures to make a quick buck.

Love HWY 30 vet clinic...all the staff is awesome and professional!

I took one of our sanctuary animals to get stitches after she was injured. They immediately gave me an appointment and had no problem working with a wolfdog. They were so laid back, professional and kind. He was very receptive to the needs of this type of animal and is willing to work with our animals. They also allowed me to be there with her as she was being worked on which is rare in this day and time. Wolfdogs can be extremely timid to people they do not know so it really helped her to wake up with me there. I knew she was comforted because as she was waking up she leaned back into me and was very calm. Some do not wake up so easily. I loved the entire experience and am very grateful. Dr Gary and his entire staff were amazing.

My kitty came down with a high fever, wouldn't eat and was very lethargic so I ran him over to A&M small animal Sunday then to Dr Gary Lackey on Monday. Gary is an honest, sincere and gentle soul you can just tell. I got the same feeling that I did from my old vet back home prior to moving here, genuine concern and compassion. Dr Lackey looked at what A&M had done and worked off of that and not a week later my Sam Sam is back to his old self! So when I went in initially and they were trying to figure out what was wrong with Sam, they pre billed me for what they anticipated he might need. I had to come back in for sub Q fluids for him and the receptionist goes, oh see here, we billed you for this but wound up not doing it, so I'll just credit that to the sub Q fluids. They could have just billed me and I would have not been any the wiser. So on top of sincere, genuine, and compassionate, they're HONEST! I don't know what else you could ask for in a veterinarian. :)

I've been with Dr. Lackey for 20+ years. The trusting relationship I have developed over those years is the best I have ever experienced. I know my dog gets the best care that any dog could have or owner could hope for.

We have been so thankful to have found Highway 30 Vet and Dr. Gary after moving to the area. They provided excellent care to our two older cocker spaniels and were all so compassionate when our oldest one passed away. Services are reasonably priced and the staff is always a joy to work with. We are full-time RVers. We recently got a puppy who was due for her second round of shots, as well as her rabies shot. We were easily able to get an appointment, and then were very impressed with everyone that dealt with us at the clinic. Very knowledgeable and helpful folks here.

They were incredibly sensitive, skilled, kind, and understanding when my dog needed to be put to sleep. They certainly made a difficult moment a bit easier to deal with.

Dr. Gary and his staff are easy to work with, friendly and professional. Dr. Gary takes the time to explain the why of everything pertaining to our kittens, and made us comfortable with the procedures. The staff truly care for animals, and I feel ours are in good hands there. Hwy 30 Vet was recommended by work colleagues, and I will do the same should anyone ask. They are our other family doctor.

They are always accommodating getting me an appointment when one of my pets are sick.

The staff are incredibly friendly and caring! The doctors are wonderful and always know how to help my pets' medical issues. Plus, their cat mascot Ella is such a sweetheart.

They care a lot about your pets ( as vets should) and bonus, they have pretty floofy kitty to greet at the front desk!

Bar none the best vet in Bryan/ college station. I called with an emergency after hours exspecting to get the voicemail. Kaitlyn answered, then answered all my questions. Took my dog first thing next morning and they were kind, compassionate and honest. 10/10 would reccomend and will be taking my pets again. First time customers get 10% off first visit. Dr. Gary is knowledgeable, obviously has a love for animals, and has impeccable bed side manner.
