We were pleased with the daycare and training sessions, we noticed marked improvement with his behavior. The team at Happy Trails Pet Resort are prompt and professional. The facility is clean and pets are well cared for. We enjoyed the daily videos of our dogs interaction with other dogs in play groups, super cute and fun to watch. We are satisfied with our experience at Happy Trails Pet Resort and would recommend it!

We took our dog bloo an Australian shepherd husky mix to get groomed and they did a great job ….so I I decided to tak my baby Kirby who is also a Aussie mix dog …for a groom….because we had taken Boo and they did I a very god job on him ..when we took bloo we told them what we wanted so when we took Kirby we told them to do exactly what they did to our bloo … and they didn’t …..they said we didn’t say what we wanted …..it looked as if all they did was bath her …..( I could of done that ) her chaps are nasty …. Ray Charles…could of seen they needed to be trimmed….as well as her coat and belly ……my sister in law picked her ….. her groomer was Britney……when we talked to them about how bad of a jub they did … they come up with soooo may excused….and try to put it on us……petsmart does a better job at grooming….. I chose happy trails cause how good of a job bloo came out …????I personally don’t recommend this place …but that’s me ….I’m just up set that it cost me so much …that now I have to take her to get it done correctly……

A little pricey than other places but they took very good care of our pups. My wife and I could tell from the moment we walked in that the staff is very experienced with dogs. They knew exactly how to win over our American bull dog when he was showing signs of stress. When we left, he was happy as could be with his tail wagging to go to his suite for the week.

My husband and I were finally able to take our trip to Italy, we went for two weeks and trusted Happy Tails with our two Sphynx cats, our heart and soul. We received pictures and updates regularly, it was very obvious the cats were happy and being well taken care of. When we picked them up they were healthy, active and even lost a little weight with all of the play and exercise time they had. The staff was professional, kind and very helpful. I cannot say enough about this place!

They don't provide proper bedding!!! Never taking my dogs here again!! I have been a customer at Happy Tails for over a year and was satisfied with the boarding services until this last visit which was inexcusable. Apparently if you're only boarding 1 dog per room, it's good, if you happen to board 2 dogs in one room though, they won't get the care they deserve. This last visit in July, I decided to board both my dog and my boyfriend's dog together to help with separation anxiety. I paid for a Luxury suite. On their site, it says two dogs can be boarded in a large luxury suite, but what they don't tell you is that they only provide ONE bed per room, even if there is TWO dogs in it. Ridiculous when I'm paying $117 a night and expecting luxury care and they aren't even getting a basic necessity. The bed wasn't even big enough for both of them to fit on it at one time. I know all this because I was able to see it on the camera in the room. When I picked up my dogs, I asked if it was normal to only have one bed in a room, and the front desk clerk, told me yes, they only put 1 bed per room due to size of rooms and not usually being able to fit 2 beds. I then asked why there was 2 beds in the room on the camera on Friday but it was taken out later. She replied it was probably because it was taken out to go into another room. Which if you can't provide beds for every dog in your "resort" then you need to book less dogs at a time or invest in more beds. Secondly I get why they won't allow bedding from home to be provided at this time due to covid, but then you should provide it, instead of giving one of my dogs a towel to lay on, on top of tile! I then went home and online cancelled my upcoming reservation for Sept and was required to have the cancellation approved and was sent this message by staff: "Thank you for bringing this to our attention! Having been a client of ours for nearly a year, we hope you recognize we have and continue to take our personal service commitment to our clients and their pets very seriously. We apologize for our having missed a requirement as part of your pets’ experience here and we’d like to have the opportunity to re-earn your trust. May we apply a credit toward your upcoming reservation?" While I appreciate you trying to fix the issue, I don't trust y'all with my dogs anymore. And if you miss something as basic as bedding, as said above when referring to "missed a requirement", then what else are you missing that I'm not aware of!? I'm not willing to risk my dogs' safety and comfort for a credit on my account. I now have my dogs booked for their sept stay at a different facility, and when I asked the new facility if they provided 2 beds per room, the employee kind of laughed and thought I was joking and said "of course, how it that even a question?" Then I had to explain to her that not all facilities understand that concept.

We paid for their luxury suite for our dogs. Our dogs were not provided any toys and bedding was removed because our dog was "chewing on it". I fail to see how you can run a dog resort and not have equipment a dog can't chew through. When we contacted management about this to refund for the additional services advertised they talked in circles. I have taken my dogs to many other boarding places before and never dealt with such poor and rude service.

I love that you can buy a package ahead of time and use that for your stay . Since the new owner took it over they have done so much

My 6 month old dog contracted Kennel Cough from this facility (proven by an emergency vet visit due to the excessive throwing up from his coughs). He stayed there for 10 days while I was on vacation. Ownership claims that this is the first time this has happened and is not denying that this could happen to me, or to any of you reading this. And admitted to cleaning thoroughly after my vet visit. My dogs have not visited any other off-site locations, therefore it is clear it came from one of the visiting animals and somehow passed to mine. Please note when I called Happy Tails within a couple hours after picking him up because of the coughing and throwing up, the tech/assistant admitted her mistake, and yes, she apologized that she had not told me earlier in the day when I got him. At least she accepted fault. Aside from the hardships of helping a sick puppy, the most disappointing part is not being notified that something was wrong. I have owned dogs my entire life and have never had a dog come home with any sicknesses after boarding. Happy Tails will claim no responsibility if your dog gets sick. In my business, if I’m responsible for something- I take ownership. Disappointed to say the least.

If you're looking for excellent customer service and peace of mind that your pets will be taken care of, take them ANYWHERE ELSE but here. Not only are the staff rude and short with customers but they DO NOT provide the services advertised on their website. For 1500$+ for a 12 day stay, you'd think you get what you paid for. Our two dogs were made to share a single cot with no bedding, toys or rug . We were told one of our dogs was "chewing" the bedding so it was removed. I don't understand how a place that's boarded dogs for YEARS, doesn't have chew resistant amenities . This is the "Luxury" Suite they advertise, this is what you get, a dimly lit prison cell. Think twice before boarding your dogs here !! They WILL NOT refund you. Update in Response to Owner: I was NOT in fact made aware of the matter until I EMAILED the Happy Tails facility because the dogs did not have any toys or bedding since day 1. Had I not emailed , I would not have been made aware of the alleged " chewing and ingesting". There is no reason for your facility to charge as much as you do and not offer chew resistant amenities when you DO NOT ALLOW pet owners to bring their own bedding even though your website states otherwise. Surely my dogs have not been the first ones to chew on toys and bedding. It baffles me that you have the audacity to justify your shoddy customer service and pet care by saying our sole intent behind the review is to be refunded . My intention was made clear that you overcharged for a service you could not provide and that the "Luxury" room was not as such and the least you could do was refund the extra money you charged us for the extra services that WERE NOT provided, as you barely provided the bare minimum pet care on your end.

READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING WITH THEM. Only positive reviews are from their grooming/day care services NOT BOARDING. Don't waste your money on an overpriced rudely staffed facility. They will not provide the services you pay them for. Avoid the stress on yourself and your fur babies.

I've had good experiences with Happy Tails until a recent/last booking. I had signed my dog up for daycare and a training session for we had many errands to run. Happy Tails was unable to take my dog into care and we were "persuaded" into a training evaluation. We were unaware and never informed about an upcharge that would occur for this informal evaluation service that was done in the front parking lot (I'll make sure to never prepay again since the transparency for what I would be charged for was not communicated). The evaluation involved only telling us what we should do and never included on-the-spot work with my dog (not sure if this is normal for we are new dog owners). We will make sure to inform current family/friends who are clients about our experience and be sure to look elsewhere for our daycare and training needs going forward.

Dropped my dog off for doggy daycare at 7 am and came to pick him up around 3 pm to find out they forgot to do his fecal exam. Because of this, they apparently left him alone all day and forgot about him. Fortunately I got off work early or he would have been left alone the entire day. I am very disappointed and was using this trip as a trial run for potential boarding in the future. I am glad I found out about this neglect before leaving him for a long trip. Owner and staff appeared apologetic and did not charge me for the day but I will not be returning. My dog whined the entire way home, appeared dehydrated and very hungry. Slip ups like this are inexcusable and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely love our experience with Pet Grooming Services. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Very informative with it being our first visit. Followed up with emails and texts so we knew what to expect. Great summer cuts for our two long hair Chihuahuas. They are adorable!!! Will certainly be returning.

Half the staff doesn’t wear masks. 0/5 Didn’t provide feedback about my dogs first day until i specifically requested it, and then they told me they left him in a sideyard all day, so after twelve hours (7am-7pm) he came back unstimulated and still full of energy. Dogtopia did way better and was able to integrate him into a play group just fine. He’s not antisocial or a bad dog, so being relegated to a sideyard all day feels like a punishment, instead of trying to actually integrate him into a playgroup. It’s a nice facility, but it seems like the company doesn’t actually care about you or your dog.

I had an appointment to get my pet grooomed today, and already provided them with all of his medical records from the vet showing his vaccinations were up-to-date. When I arrived I was shocked when the lady stated they were doing his fecal. And I said he's here to be groomed and she said yes we require a fecal. I was appalled! One that nobody told me before I drove 8 miles there and two, that they wanted to violate my dog like that. BEWARE before you get there, theyre sadist. I bet their hair salon doesnt require any violation before cutting their hair. PLUS, shouldnt they be cleaning each cage after a pet leaves. Makes me wonder about the cleanliness of their facility.

I picked up me Cat yesterday morning and on the way home I discovered that my Cat had a 1/4 inch cut around his shoulder that we bleeding. I don't know what happened, but it appears to me that this had occurred over the weekend. I just wanted to let everyone to know this happened. Update 3-24-2021. I would love to move this to a Zero Star rating. Per the response from the owner, I responded with an email with pictures and a brief account. Since my Cat has been home he has not acted like himself. What ever occurred that gave my cat a sizable gash above his shoulder and a swollen eye on the same side, has really taken away his spirit.

I would definitely recommend this place for pet boarding.I dropped my two cats off for a week and they made me feel assured from start to finish and I was able to even see the facility beforehand. they seemed organized and the staff seemed nice and I felt good about leaving my cats there for a week. When I got them back they were themselves for the most part which is why I am giving this place five stars. With that being said, my cats, especially one of them, had a difficult time being there and was stressed out as cats can often be in new environments and didn't eat much when he was there. While I highly recommend this place, I'm going to consider a pet sitter next time. this has nothing to do with the place but more with the personality of your cats. My girl cat was more accepting of the place in general.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I came back into town today after being out gone for a couple of weeks, and my mom just let me know what went down here. She had to board my dog for a day, and brought her to Happy Tails because of the good reviews and convenience. When she picked her up, she noticed that her demeanor was incredibly off from the norm. She's a happy dog that loves all people and animals, and this was super odd... she is quite accustomed to staying at boarding facilities, and always comes home so excited that she got to meet so many new friends. She came home filthy, ended up having diarrhea, and wouldn't eat for the next two days. My mom took her to the vet the next day, and after finding no medical issues, the vet determined that cause of her symptoms was likely due to extreme distress. Be weary of bringing your fur baby here.

The new manager at happy tails is horrible. I never met a manager with terrible customer service. He isn’t personable at all and doesn’t talk to us like the old manager did. They also hired back derenda (Spelling could be incorrect) that lady is very opinionated and told me I need to control my dog and not let my dog act a certain way. This place is awful!

Today was one of the worst experiences I have EVER had with customer service. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!! I bought 20 doggy daycare passes from Happy Tails. They let me know I needed to have my dog's records sent over. The day I scheduled my dog, I called my vet and had them fax over the records. The front desk was WELL aware they were going to be sent via fax. Today I used my first pass. I decided I would call to see if they needed me to bring bowls for my dog to eat her food out of. Tammy answers the phone and let's me know that they still needed my dogs records. Mind you, NO ONE has called me about this beforehand and it is 7:45am. I have to be at school for 12 hours and they are telling me that I can't bring my dog in without the records. This makes me SO FRUSTRATED. Why is Tammy letting me know this 15 min before I'm planning on dropping off my dog. My vet isn't even open. I have no alternative place I can take my dog. I had it all lined up. They could have given me the courtesy to let me know at least the night before. I nearly had a panic attack. Tammy was SO rude. She acted like this was my fault. How the hell am I supposed to know y'all don't have the records? There was just no communication. She told me I could have the fecal exam done there but I would have to pay for it. Why would I want to pay for something when I know my dog is up to date on her records. This situation never should have happened. Tammy had no empathy. She was not helpful and not once did she apologize. I was able to find the records after freaking out and searching relentlessly. I was able to drop her off and Tammy again was not pleasant to be around. The thing is, I called them. If I hadn't called them about the dog bowls, I would have found out about the records when I got there and most likely wouldn't be able to board my dog. I asked Tammy to have the manager call me later that day. George, the manager, called and really didn't seem to care. He did apologize and say he would talk to Tammy, but overall he his attitude was ambivalent. I didn't feel anything was really accomplished by the call. When I picked up my dog this evening the other front desk lady was there. I asked for a refund for the rest of the passes. She had to ask Brenda, the owner, if it was ok. I asked to speak with Brenda but she conveniently was unavailable. I just feel like no one cared what so ever about what happened. It completely ruined my day. I was so anxious for the rest of the day they would mistreat my dog. I know I personally feel mistreated. When I finally got my dog, she was acting strange. She acted like she wasn't fed or had water. She even acted as though she hadn't been taken out. She had to use the bathroom immediately. I fed her when I got home. She ate so quickly and acted very dehydrated. No one even let me know if they fed her. She definitely didn't act like it. The only good thing about today was getting a refund and NEVER going back.
