Professional and very nice staff.

Horrible experience... they almost killed our pup through pure negligence. Then they were rude, dismissive and unhelpful when we took him to an ER after an unnecessary botched surgery at their facility.. so incredibly horrible

They are great for breeding and general shots but I would not recommend them for any type of emergency services. We lost 2 dog's under their care within two month's time. They never did a follow up call to check on our injured dog which passed away as soon as we got him home. We felt like they were rushing us out because it was closing time so he didn't get accurate treatment.

I was having issues trying to find a vet that wasn't booked because of the holiday or short staffed due to covid including our normal vet, but Block House Creek specifically Dr Blatchford heard my concerns about our baby Raven and they were able to fit her in. I was hoping for the best thinking she had allergies or bronchitis and they would be able to give her antibiotics and send us on our way. Unfortunately Raven was sicker than we thought and Raven passed away. Dr Blatchford and her vet techs were very kind and helped us get through some very difficult decisions. I highly recommend them. They were so kind and loving to Raven, which was very much appreciated by our family.They were very patient and extremely kind to us as well. Thank you so much Dr Blatchford and everyone there that day. You made a very sad day more bearable for our family. Sincerely Raven Williams family

I truly cannot say more good things about this hospital. From my snake, to the guinea pigs, even the cat and my dogs, the staff always take care of them and us. I especially love when they call and ask to check in on the animals!

A great experience... as always!

On Christmas Eve my husband's Amazon parrot Lily accidentally flew into my parrot's cage. It must have surprised my parrot as she attacked Lily and she was bleeding pretty badly. I called Block House Creek and they said we could bring her right in so we raced to the clinic. They took Lily straight back to the Avian vet where he put her on oxygen and gave her medication for pain immediately. We were able to take her home on medications. Their care and concern meant so much to us at such a frightening time. Their price was amazingly reasonable for our exotic emergency. We are very thankful and HIGHLY recommend Block House Creek animal clinic.

On short notice, they were able to work me in to have my guinea pig looked at. Tremendous, compassionate care from Dr. Rayl and Cameron - they took plenty of time to answer questions, explained things clearly, and discussed options for care. Friendly & efficient front desk staff. Spacious waiting room and very clean treatment rooms. Highly recommended.

The entire team at Block House from the receptionist to the vet techs to my doctor made the entire experience as positive as it possibly could have been and I feel very comfortable returning!

All the team members, from techs to assistants, doctors and the amazing front desk staff have always been great, professional but not to the point of taking away from the small town feel. I can tell all of you truly care about, Jazz, Honey Hive, Piper and Oliver, our fur babies.

This is the best/only reproductive services vet hospital in the area and Dr. Curl is great! They have been very helpful for my last litter of collie puppies and will be doing more in the future. The staff have been kind and very helpful with scheduling and explaining procedures, medications, call backs, and dealing and with worried owners.

WHERE DO I BEGIN!! This vet clinic/hospital has may entire heart! I've always taken my animals for either shots or any emergencies, and well, you pay for what you get: Fantastic service, proper care, and intelligent decisions. They have always treated mine and my family's pets (I bring in my parents' dogs for them here from out of town for a reason!) with love, respect, and plenty of patience. Dr. Erickson and Dr. Rayl have been my primary animal doctors and the most genuine, wonderful vets I have ever worked with. Our techs over this past year have been Courtney and Alicia, which my pets love! I hope that people can look past the bad reviews, because there's a reason why we keep coming back. Yea it's pricey, but having a pet by your side obviously costs money, it's always been that way ????????‍♀️ you're paying for premium service is what I'm saying. I've been coming here for 10 years and will continue to do so. Thank you guys for all your hard work and help. My fur children love you and so do we ❤️

It's been 2 years since I have actually seen a vet. You can't go inside with your pet. You park outside and call in. It would be nice if they would consider allowing people to go inside to see the vet after showing proof of COVID 19 vaccinations and wearing a mask.

I found this vet in a moment of panic because my dog had an accident. They were available for a walk in when other vets told me it could take hours and when I arrived they were kind, welcoming and took care of my girl! They were incredibly great, I might need to travel 40mins to see them more regularly!

Great to get a farm call from Dr. Curl for our pot belly pig, who suffers from arthritis. The vet team is easy to work with and very knowledgeable.Thanks for helping Tilly be more comfortable.

The docs and staff at BCAH are so caring. I have been a client only for a short time—about 5 months but I’ve needed care for my animals four times in that time period and have nothing but good things to say about my experiences here. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been kind, helpful, and compassionate. I’m very thankful for all they do to serve their clients!

As always they are very attentive and wonderful with my pets. They treat them with great respect and great prices.

Never disappointed with the service for my dogs and birds

I read the 28 other 1 Star reviews and found that I’m not the only one who now knows this place is all about money. The have a non customer centric environment and horrible with handling delicates situations. I called ahead today due to accidents nearby and the lady said not a problem there isn’t anyone in the schedule till 9. I arrived 20 mins past my appt. When I arrive I am told all the docs are in surgery and I’ll have to drop him off. I told them I’m flying out of country and need this to get that done. They kept repeating themselves after I asked them to consider that I will have to leave my dog behind with nobody ti take care of him. They said yeah sorry sir we can’t help you. Growing up on a ranch I know the shots were cheap and I’ve administered at least 100 of them. So I asked can they just sell me the shots and the lady lost her cool and started to tell me a bunch of lies about Tractor Supply vaccines being unusable and not property stored and useless. To say the least, train your people to have a little bit of restraint and anger management when dealing with customers you’ve asked to come into a late appt. My dog needed about 5 minutes of quick shots that’s it. I hope that surgery cased was worth reputation and character. Again, 28 other 1 star reviews. I’m happy to be #29. My dog thanks you too.

The employees really care about your animals like they are family. They are always compassionate and caring and make sure we understand what is going on and that we are satisfied with the results.

Dr. Curl and Dr. Rachel, together with their staff (Taylor and the office crew) genuinely care about my pets. Past and present. They were so concerned about my dog, Cookie, in an emergency, that they all rushed in together in midst of an already overloaded schedule to help her. I am beyond grateful.

We love Dr. Curl. She is awesome and goes above and beyond to take care of our family. She’s dedicated to helping animals and it shows in her commitment to keeping them healthy and well. Not your typical Veterinarian. We’ve known her going on seven years and she has been instrumental in helping our dogs become healthier. Thank you so much for loving our dogs as much as we do.
