Staff is always very helpful and patient and it's EVERYONE I've come in contact with. Great team!

Overall Petco is the best of the 4 or 5 pet stores in DFW (selection, quality & service). The employees are friendlier too. Especially at the Carrollton store. Just be sure to check the price online; it's often much cheaper than in store but they always honor it if you show them the item.

I was so glad to have a pleasant experience at this location. Back in May 2021, my pup was cut while being groomed and it soured my desire to go back. However, after trying other locations, I ended up back at the Carrollton location and they didn't disappoint. I appreciate having a place to take my pup to get cleaned up and beautiful. Despite the accident in May, they're my preferred location.

Nice selection for every pet imaginable. I went in to buy a cat tree for my senior cat. Several different configurations in stock the one I got was on sale yay! The staff was very helpful in making purchase.

Having to say goodbye to my friend of 12 years due to an aggressive cancer and stopped by this Petco to gather some supplies for a little party I am throwing him, lots of his favorite bones, toys, food, ice cream, treats. There were 2 girls working the front, asked how my day was going and mentioned someone is getting spoiled. I broke down explaining that it was for a little ‘end of life’ celebration I am throwing and without hesitation, one of the girls (she asked first!) gave me a long hug. I wish I had gotten her name, she was a godsend and the hug meant more to me than she could have possibly imagined. (This isn’t the first instance the staff here has been anything short of incredible.) Love this petco so much, love the staff, you can tell they all genuinely have big big hearts for our furry friends.

We just rescue Our Dog Max from the Shelter! And I have a lots of questions so I went to this location and the Employees help Me with all the questions that I have and the Young Man who help Me give Me a Coupon as well !!! Thank You so much for everything I really appreciate You all !!!

Petco has some great healthy dog foods like-Honest Kitchen, Wellness, Tiki and Wernova! They have a freezer for raw foods and Just for Dogs, a frozen but cooked packaged dog food which my dogs love! They also have a grooming salon!

I really like this Petco. It's a pretty big store with a ton of high quality selection. I came here just to look around but ended up buying treats, bones, and a toy. The staff was super nice and helped me, even right before they closed.

Groomers are awesome! They're very friendly and loving towards both my dogs. Instructions were followed and both groomers did a great job.

My experience was like a Hearthstone. Warm, welcoming, and I didn't want to be away for long. Shannon, Luke, & Brittany- Have all welcomed me into their Petco family as if I was there own.????❤️ I may have grown up going to the store, 20 years ago... But I'm staying, because of the people. Good pet place, they have events on Saturdays for foster kittens, as well as offering plenty of birds, rodents, aquatic types, and the necessary accoutrements to take care of said creatures. It works.

I had the nicest experience here. I can tell with the experience I have now that these Petco employees were super knowledgeable and caring. I adopted my first mouse here. I was not planning on adopting a mouse but the employee helped me find a pet that would fit in with my lifestyle. She was the best mouse. She lived for about three and a half years in which I was told by my vet was amazing for a mouse. She was super happy and loved. She sadly died of a brain tumor, but if I did not have this experience, I do not know where I would be on my pet journey. Thank you for the laughs and endless memories with my little girl. I am beyond grateful.

They tend to have a lot more toy and treat options for dogs than they do for cats.

Really friendly employees. I was just in very quickly to get some food for my snake and my failed feeder mice, but I got a warm greeting from the cashier and the girl who was changing the animal bedding. I also had a lot of items in my hand, and the cashier asked me if I needed a basket (I didn't but I appreciated being asked). The only negative thing I could say is that there are a lot of cobwebs around the small animal food they should maybe dust or try to clean up, but otherwise this is a good location and the animals look well-taken care of. Will be visiting again.

Organized but missing most basic dogs foods such as chicken rice, reg chicken or beef dog food cans. However if your dog likes asiatic, greek, italian (...) Meals this is the place!!:)

Very Disappointed! I booked a grooming appointment for my standard poodle. We live part of the year in Mexico so she gets her rabies shot in December when we are there. I brought my vet signed booklet with her picture, signatures, weight, dates of every vaccination...rabies, bordatello, distemper etc, along with the labels that include lot #, medication, expiration date etc. Not good enough! "We require a 'piece of paper' from the vet", she says. I'm looking at the piece of paper(s) in my hand mystified.

Had an item to return that I'd purchased online and picked up at a store near my home. Went to this other store to return. They pulled up my account but couldn't pull up my invoice with item I wanted to return. Weren't really sure what to do either. Ended up having to go to the store by my home and they were able to pull up details and complete the return.

This is a great store, and you can tell that they love animals. They have hard to find dog food that Petsmart is usually out of, or don't carry at all!
