So glad to have found MBF! Our dog looked healthy and happy. They had given him a bath just before we picked him and he still smells good!:-)

This place loves to have people who do nothing but sit on their phones and neglect the animals when they need medication I used to be on top of medication and if it wasn’t done by me it was never done so I would be careful about this place if you have a special needs pet this place is not the place for you take them elsewhere I promise they’ll give your baby better care also the rooms are not what they claim on the website the dog has room to turn around and that’s about it

Almost everyone at Man's Best Friend is very friendly and enthusiastic. They greet our dog by name every day and she's always excited to go to day care. Recently, we've started receiving report cards that let us know how our dog behaved during the day which we also appreciate. What keeps us from giving 5 stars is that within the last year, they almost doubled their prices without any real increase in service and no other explanation why. That, and there have been times in the past when we boarded her and asked afterwards how she did and they weren't able to give us any information. Overall, while there are other places that seem to offer more features for a similar price, because of the friendly staff, I recommend Man's Best Friend to friends and family.

Simply put, they released my dog to an unauthorized person. I went to pick up my dog, and I was shocked she wasn't there. I would never trust them with my dog again!!

TRAINING: Personally, DAMION ALMOS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL TRAINER, and we highly recommend his positive approach to training. His hands-on method for training both the handler and the pet is easy to understand and apply in daily interactions. His guidance has been a life-changer for our rescue, Stella, that needed the one-on-one personal touch to put her on the right path. Thank you, Damion! You ROCK!

First time customer and will definitely be returning! My dogs got a claw trim and we were in and out within no time. Everyone was incredibly friendly and the service was top notch. I highly recommend this business.

My little dog ???? WHODAT was nervous at first arrival However in no time at all he was feeling comfortable and wanted .. when picking my little guy up after three days he was so calm and relaxed and seemed really happy , not to mention he was looking great and was well groomed and taken good care of … Will have no problem bring him back for a stay and grooming when needed … thanks so much for taking care of my little guy WHODAT..

First time customer… when picking up my dog I was simply handed a report card and told they would email an invoice. Nothing how my dog was or did, nothing. When I got home I looked over the invoice and noticed nothing made sense and was charged incorrectly. GM Jaime corrected and refunded me $21. On Tuesday evening I was petting my dog and he yelped when I touched his head, I noticed wounds all over his head and neck. My dog apparently received injuries while staying at your facility but was never notified. I did receive a call on Saturday and returned the call immediately but they didn’t know who or why I was called. When I called to ask about it Wednesday the young lady wanted to bring up issues over the disputed prices that were brought and resolved on Monday, rather than be concerned or interested in my dog or his injuries. All I got was I will ask around and see, haven’t heard anything since, but I really didn’t anticipate that I would. A visit to the vet and some antibiotics, thanks Man’s Best Friend my dog is fine, but he wasn’t fine in your care.

update: I was also guilt tripped and insulted for “bashing” them on google which was just me leaving a review like every other person does. I thought google reviews were there to share your experience? I swear every single I take my dog to doggy daycare here she comes back with some type of injury. I called for the first time after her third injury and explained my situation but was made to feel like i wasn’t being honest because “they didn’t notice anything when she left”. If you’re paying $30 for doggy daycare I would expect for our dogs not to be injured each time. I will definitely not be going back.

Under new management . Ruined the best place around. Now the employees hands are tied by “ corporate policing” and pricing is outrageous. Watch out for hidden costs when boarding such as play time surcharges, expensive mandatory baths and so on

We take our Labradoodle, Buck to the location in Carrollton on Westgrove. Buck's groomer today was Caden. Caden did a fantastic job and Buck just loved him. I also appreciate Caden's enthusiasm, as well as the other groomer 's. It makes me feel like I can leave my dog there in their care when the staff is friendly and enthusiastic about their jobs. Thanks Caden! You did a great job, and we'll be booking with you again!

Ranger loooved it and I am glad , even tho he was not happy to be home. He missed all the fun and new friends ( the little pit bull ) and yard time that he doesn’t have at our senior complex.I would recommend your place to everyone here and anyone who needs your services that I know . Thank You

We had tried this dog care but our little Yorkie never could calm down each time we would drop him off. He always sensed the minute we turned on the street & would start aggressive barking/whining & once dropped off he would get super aggressive towards the staff. This isn't a common trait of our Yorkie at all! It didn't help they were more about coming out to retrieve our dog vs. us coming in - Red Flag personally. This was each time he would attend. So needless to say we ended our visits & the attempt to get our partial package refund was a nightmare as dealing with Renee just to inform me that isn't an option and of course when I asked for Jaime to contact me she got an attitude by saying "I don't know what anyone above me will say besides the same thing that you won't get a refund". Excuse me?? Needless, to say once it was escalated without a professional call back they just refunded my money. Ideally, that's nice and all but not to want to hear back from a former client says a lot to me. Moved onto a better doggie care & our little Yorkie doesn't hesitate attending!

Being deaf and feel comfortable letting them to work with my pup with my sign and verbal. Making me comfortable trusting them. Just unexpected to start today. Will be looking forward when picking up in two week. This place really explained everything and I love this business

The service was impeccable! I felt comfortable and so did my baby. The haircut was fierce. I will definitely go back. I felt like I was at Chick-fil-A!

Originally booked a service with Man's best friend that due to miscommunication of some employees was not rendered, it's frustrating when said service takes four hours to complete and there's just not that time, people's day does not revolve revolves around their dog, be that as it may the company have offered an explanation(again) and a refund. I hope on the future such miscommunication does not happen I will not be using man's best friend again. But this is not a reflection on the staff but rather the service and the wasting of my time.

The entire staff at Man’s Best Friend in Carrollton are very inviting, courteous, and professional. It was our first visit for grooming services and Caden did an amazing job! I would highly recommend this place for boarding, day-care or grooming! Even though I live in McKinney, I won’t be going anywhere else!

Do NOT take your dog to this place! It seems like they may have had a complete change in ownership or staff since last year. We boarded our dog for about a week. When we picked her up, she had lost a lot of weight, had a skin and ear infection, and REAKED of urine! They are supposed to bathe them before you pick them up, but it was clear that all they did was put her in a dryer kennel but she was still covered in urine. On top of that, when we walked in, the assistant manager was yelling at a man who came to pick up his dog. The man was quoted a lower price over the phone, but when he came to get the dog they upped the price and wouldn't let him have his dog until he paid the outrageous upcharge!! The man was asking to speak with the full manager and the assistant-manager refused and continued harassing the man. STAY CLEAR of this place if you care for your pet!!

Nice please, I would like to get more detail in the service. Would like to see some of your work that you have done with other dogs. Did not explain to pay structure, would love for the trainer to pay more attention to the dog. My dog was want some water either of the trainer offer any water to my dog. No problem but, But I question myself an ask how much attention to detail do that show doing training.

Staff has always been super sweet and everyone always welcomes my dog and seems so happy to see him, and my dog is always happy to see them as well! Down to earth, yet they still give enough details to not make me feel worried leaving him for daycare!

I cannot stress this enough, if you need your dog taken care of in any way head to Mans Best Friend. Extremely friendly staff, can and will answer all questions you could have (within reason lol) and truly have your best friends best interests in mind. I took my dog Jax up there to get groomed and my goodness Caden is a godsend. My little furry ball of energy seemed to be no match for his expert grooming skills (he hates getting his nails trimmed). But seemed to almost offer his paw to Caden before he even asked for it. Thank you guys for taking care of the little fella.

Make sure to ask for Caden, absolutely one of the best groomers in DFW!

Caden did a great job taking care of my beagle, she can be a handful at times, but she had no problem getting all cleaned up here!

Awesome grooming service! My sweet pup always looks great! I love the groomer, Caden Stout! He is so helpful, always professional & truly cares about my animal! He’s answered all my questions & is so pleasant! I have finally found my grooming HOME!!

We decided to try Man's Best Friend this time for boarding out smaller dog. He is a little shy at first, but seemed to warm up quickly. He was well take care of and even bathed. Would definitely recommend to my friends.
