Dean was responsive from the first phone call I made to him. He does what he says he will do! We had four lessons with our Goldendoodle (8-months) and our doodle is now one of the family members. He interacts with our young son now because of his training. His teaching WORKS and we highly recommend him for anyone needed a 1:1 trainer.

Dean is great. Me and my wife loved working with him. Our dog is definitely not easy to work with but Dean managed it great. Our dog changed completely from the first session and she just keeps improving. Deans training and tips work every time. Thanks for taking the challenge of making our lives much better. My sweet dog , Jenny, and I just completed the 4 session, beginners obedience class with Dean Duet at Double D Dog Training. It was so needed for both of us and Dean made it happen. we had a very out of control Boston Terrier, that we were close to giving away, when we were recommended to try Dean Duet, with Double D Dog Training. He turned us, and George around after first visit. He is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, professional, and friendly. His prices are very reasonable. We love that he comes to the house, so we can work on our dog in his own environment. He showed us how to work with the dog, games to play to keep him engaged, tricks to approach difficult situations. We would recommend him to anyone .

We absolutely loved our experience with Double D Dog Training! By the time we were done, we felt like family. I had done many hours of research on YouTube but it did not compare to having someone to walk alongside you to guide our training process. Our sweet Lucy was only 4 months old and I’m glad we called when we did. Dean was quick to respond, scheduled us within that week and we completed our sessions within the month! It was a pleasure to work with him and I would recommend his training to anyone out there looking for expertise or just hands on reassurance that you’re doing it right!

I refer back to it often to make sure I’m doing it correctly. Thank you for the Kong recipes. They are a life saver when I crate her. I ordered several of the brain games and toys you suggested and she loves them! I will be contacting you for further training to help us be successful when we are in public! Kudos for all Double D was able to make happen with our active, young, lab mix! This time he spent with us was quality, customized and well worth it. Dean with Double D Dog Training was great! My husband and I are first time puppy owners and Dean was able to show us how to train our puppy to do basic commands. He also answered all of our questions and even brought recommended toys/training games and showed us where to buy them. Overall the process was very smooth. We contacted Dean and then he came to our house at convenient times for us for 4 separate sessions. Dean also has an incredible memory and remembers the names of all of the dogs and dog parents that he's worked with, showing that he really cares. Would recommend!

Dean was great to work with! My dog Ranger made a huge transformation from the first to last session. Dean was also great about texting him/contacting him if questions came up after our session. Overall, this was a fun experience and very helpful with training Ranger. Would highly recommend Dean for dog training!

Dean is hands down the absolute best dog trainer around! We introduced our puppy Charlie into the family, but he was initially having a hard time adjusting to his new life. Dean stepped in and helped Charlie gain his confidence by learning new commands, tricks, and manners. He was also so helpful explaining to us what we should and should not be doing as new puppy parents. Now, Charlie is a totally different puppy thanks to Dean!! We are so grateful for you and all that you taught our boy!

We checked out a couple of different training options when we adopted a 2-year-old adult dog, Buster. He’s a sweet dog, but he can be a handful on a leash. He’s protective of us and easily distracted by squirrels and cats on the sidewalk. (Runners and cyclists, too). We really liked that Dean was able to come to our home and focus just on us and our dog. He explained everything that we would be doing before we started the sessions, and he gave us loads of tips for reinforcing the desired behavior. We learned as much as, if not more, than the dog did, and we are grateful for Dean’s expertise.

This dog was a mess, and by the picture still looks it, but after Dean's help Dasher is now on his way to being a great dog. Dean made it so easy by coming to my house and seeing what all I was doing wrong. After my first session, Dasher was no longer having accidents in his crate. This alone made my life so much better. Dean helped me understand my dog and what I needed to do to make him mind me. After only 4 sessions Dasher is now calmer and more obedient. I can see light at the end of the tunnel now. Dean also gave me some great tips to keep my dog entertained and stimulated. Dean is a wealth of knowledge and I am so thankful that I had him work with Dasher and Me! Thank you Dean!!!!

I cannot rave about Dean enough! His training has completely changed the way my dog Teddy behaves. Dean taught Teddy and I so much in just 4 training sessions. Dean listened to all my struggles/concerns with Teddy and started working with him when he was 10 months old. I worried it was too late and Teddy had already learned bad habits. However, I was so wrong. I saw a huge difference after practicing a few things Dean showed us during the first session. With positive reinforcement and consistent practice at home, Teddy was finally listening and dropping bad habits. My favorite thing is that you can see just how passionate Dean is about training dogs. He loves it and truly wants to help them do their best! Dean’s prices are unbeatable for training that is tailored to your dogs needs. It was so helpful to have him in my home to see how Teddy acts and how our home is set up. Dean was great at communicating and frequently texted to check in on Teddy. I felt so comfortable knowing I could text any time I had questions or issues. I cannot recommend Dean’s training services enough!!!

I just recently worked with Double D Dog training with my German Shepard mix puppy, Charlie. After just one privet in home session, I saw a huge difference with Charlie's overall behavior. We had the best time working with Dean. He included our entire family in the training and in just 4 sessions he completely changed our 5 month old Lab Bo. Dean made the training a positive experience for all of our kids, but especially our younger kids who were a little intimidated by our big puppy. Bo seems like a MUCH happier dog after our time with Dean, and we are MUCH happier dog owners. Dean helped us all get on the same page by teaching us to be consistent in using the same commands. Dean was awesome with our Dexter Blue. Dexter would get super excited anytime Dean walked in to our home his lesson. Dexter looked forward to his training. Dean had so much helpful information.
