Dr.Vignes is very knowledgeable in her profession. I learn something new every vet visit. She truly cares about her patients. The ladies in the office and the Techs are very welcoming and pleasant. They are very gentle and caring with my fur babies! ???????? Thank you NVC for all that you do!!

I love Mrs. Alison care and concern. The staff was friendly and informative. They do educational help. My Stormie love one of the staff member . He marked her as her territory. I like I can't believe he did that. I worked with other vets. My fur babies were calm and being themselves.

We took my dog here on a Friday after she had been heavy breathing and not acting normally. The vet did not do any blood work or even take a temperature on my dog. Four days later my dog collapsed at my house we took her to a different vet where she had an emergency surgery because a tumor in her spleen had ruptured and was filling her stomach with blood. A tumor that should have been felt by this vet upon examination and blood work that would have indicated a problem. I would not recommend taking any animal that you care about to someone so incompetent. My dog is actively fighting for her life do to the lack of knowledge and care of the new ownership. Please do not make the same mistake in believe the standard of care at this facility is the same as it was in years past.

They did a wonderful job of shaving my Ragdoll Frankie. He gets a once a year cut and while he is looped they always check his teeth. Frankie is not cooperative when it comes to his teeth. He plays like a kitten after he gets his summer shave. The staff is awesome with my cats.

After watching our 14yr old lab deteriorate over the last two months, we decided to end his pain. Yesterday morning, after a fitful night of labored breathing and obvious discomfort, we called Doctor Vignes' clinic and requested an appointment asap. Although being booked solid, they said we could bring Max in at 9:30. The doctor and staff were so empathetic and caring, took their time to explain our options and went over the process of euthanasia. Our son, who had driven over from Austin in the wee hours, was there with my wife and me. Max was my son's first and only dog and insisted on being there for his final moments. The process was painless, quick, and performed with caring and competent precision. We are so appreciative of the doctor and her staff for making a difficult situation as bearable as possible. Afterward, we drove to our property in Newton and buried Max. Thank you so much!

I needed a last minute appointment after just moving to Beaumont. They worked me in the same day and I did not wait any time after we arrived. The vet tech and doctor could not have been nicer and were wonderful with my cat (Katniss). Highly recommend this practice.

Katie S. here! We absolutely love going to the vet! It’s the first time I’ve had an animal that is so excited to go. Everyone is super friendly and loves on your fur baby to make them comfortable. I’ve gone to this vet since I was a kid and my parents and I would take my dog. They’ve made things a little more modern and put a lot of effort into making you feel like family. Dr. Vignes and all of the staff are second to none. I recommend them to anyone who asks for vet recommendations. Schedule an appointment and take your fur baby in. You won’t regret! (Plus, theyre covid safety are impeccable!

I am new to NVC- Calder, and just concluded my 3rd visit to the clinic in the last month. While I am new to the NVC, I am very familiar with Dr. Allison Vignes. The Clinic is NOT a convenient place for me to use. It is taking me about 45 minutes to get there. HOWEVER, to get the quality care that I can depend on with Dr. Vignes, I would travel twice that to see her. I will not paint a rosy picture and tell that all stories have happy endings, as some of our Fur Babies have issues beyond help, especially when they are reaching 2 decades in age.. Dr. Vignes has helped me thru these traumatic times with great compassion and care where I had no question that my pets left me in complete comfort. I recently have had several visits ( I have LOTS of pets and spend a tremendous time with vets) at NVC- Calder. The appointments were made rapidly and conveniently. I had difficulty getting appointments with another clinic, and found it would be close to a week to get in. NVC got me in the next day after I called, and in one instance when I had an appointment for a grooming service and asked if Dr. V could check on my pet while shew as there, they did with no delay. There is no vet in the last 12 years that I have found to be as skilled and compassionate as Dr. V. The review asked about specific qualities that make me give good marks to the Clinic. In honesty, the only one that I hesitated on was cost. I really have no idea what costs in the area run, but my bill ( I actually LOOKED at the charge) was below what I have been paying. But I usually just pay and never look. These are my babies and cost is far down the line. The staff ( I do know a couple) are very nice to work with and seem to have good rapport with the pets. The receptionist is beyond patient with my thousand questions and total lack of any sense of direction! My biggest complaint on this review is that 5 stars are not enough to give them the credit they deserve. I do not know the other vets, but suspect they are quality as well. Though they may regret it, they will be seeing a lot of me in the next few weeks. As I said, I have a LOT of pets and getting them seen in a timely manner is very important.

Amazing Clinic and receptionist. We're knew to Beaumont, and needed a new vet. Other clinics were overpriced, one booked an appointment, but didn't confirm it in the system, and others were just dismissive. Not this Clinic. The curbside assistance is amazing, the Doctor calls you with any concerns your baby may have, and you can tell by talking to her, she loves what she does. We've found our new Vet home.

When Dr. Wehner owned this clinic and he was still able to work full time, it was nothing short of amazing. He and his office staff were always kind and knowledgeable, and they always treated animals with the same care they would treat their own. He has saved the lives of so many of my pets, and I’ve seen him cry on more than one occasion, because he is literally one of the most compassionate people you will ever meet. Unfortunately, since he had to sell, things are nothing like they used to be. The quality of care is mostly acceptable, I suppose, but it’s nothing to write home about, unless you manage to get a coveted appointment with Doc. Mostly though, the prices have absolutely skyrocketed. I understand that often times, Doc would slash prices when an animal was extremely ill. I’ll forever be grateful for his kindness during times like those, because he didn’t have to do that. The current prices go way beyond just not getting a break toward the care of an extensive illness. Even the vaccine prices have gone through the roof. I recently brought my senior dog to them, and a few days later, I ended up having to take the same dog to the emergency vet. The emergency vet was cheaper, and I received so much more information and care. He had been incorrectly diagnosed on some issues and other issues weren’t noticed at all. I also recently had to put that same dog on a heart medicine. They charged me $35 more for his medicine than Chewy.com charges. My new vet lists that same medicine at only $6 more than Chewy.com. THAT is acceptable. Even 10 or $15 would be acceptable, but $35? $35 more per bottle comes out to a yearly price difference of $266, and that’s significant. In my opinion, they’re capitalizing on the fact that people love their pets and will do nearly anything to keep them healthy, so they’re just raking people over the coals. That’s such an abhorrent thing to do to people who are trusting them with the lives of their furry family members. It breaks my heart that I’ve had to find another vet, because Doc is absolutely the best, and I will miss him and his care so much, but these people have ruined his office. Do yourselves a favor and find a vet who cares more about your pet than about charging you every single cent they think they can get away with.

Angie is the sweetest thing. She loaned me her kennel so I could bring my cat in to be fixed. She has answered all of my questions and some after hours. I had to have my dog put to sleep. She held my dog the whole time. They truly love animals.

My experience so far has been pretty good. I'll be able to get a better idea when we're able to go in and see how it's changed since they took over when Dr Wehner retired. He and his crew were fantastic. Hope to be able to say the same for these folks.
