The prices here are outrageous. They always charge a $49 exam fee. Shots are around $100-$120. Spays and neuters average at about $200+, X-rays start at $160. The vet care is average, the staff are usually rude and it takes forever to check in or pick up your animals.I used to bring my dogs here for a few years and the staff changed and it just went downhill. I dropped my dog off who has a lot of anxiety and not very socialized (born in the pandemic) to board for a weekend. I dropped off one of my pajamas with him because my scent keeps him calm. They were so grossed out that I brought my clothes for him to stay with and made a disgusted face. I was so worried about him the entire time I was gone. When I went to pick him up I was waiting for almost an hour, they have my card info on file and didn’t really need a thorough check out. They had an attitude the entire time. I don’t have the patience to deal with rude people when I’m paying so much for my animals care. So I just stopped going. I’ve been told by several people they also found a new vet for the same reasons. Dowlen west and north orange are way cheaper than this place and overall have nicer staff.

Dr Seymore is literally the best ever. We are so lucky to have him I wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere. The staff is friendly and they all care and you feel loved the min you walk in. Dr Seymore is by far the best Vet ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

They have been taking care of my dog who is really sick. They communicate everything and often. Everyone has been so nice and patient.

I highly recommend this business. They worked me in on a Friday when my regular vet was out of the office and my cat was having trouble. Dr. Pope took great care of my "old guy". I very much appreciate it.

Do not take your senior dog to this office. The first response is that they have reached the end of their life expectancy. Diagnostic testing was offered but euthanasia and quality of life was given more weight without considering all symptoms. My dog was put down because of the play on my emotions without knowing that he could have had a treatable condition. I feel like a fool.

I trusted my German Shepherd puppy, Psyrus to be boarded there for 5 days. They were great with him and was always very nice and informative when I called in to check on him. Great staff and choice for good boarding.

My husband and I this morning had to bring our dog in to be cremated this morning due to an accident the night before. I can’t remember her name but the woman who helped us with our options and letting us cremate him with his favorite toy is a blessing. She let us say our goodbyes privately, kindly told us what would happen, and patiently let us pick out our memorial keepsake. I highly recommend this vet to anyone. Your baby will be taken care of with dignity and honor. Thank you for making a hard situation a little easier and affordable. Keep up the good work

If you live in the West End of Baumont (or don't mind making the trek), Beaumont West is a phenomenal veterinarian practice. The staff and doctors are knowledgeable and kind to everyone that walks through the door, whether on 2 legs or 4.

By far best vet around, you can take any pet there & they will see them. Very friendly & knowledgeable. If your looking for a place to bring your baby you found it.

This is an all around vets office. It's It's a bit more expensive than other local vets but well worth it!! I've never felt rushed through with any of the Dr or vet techs. Services include your regular vet checks as well as grooming and boarding. When you walk in make sure to look up. The Cat Motel is adorable!!

Great doctors, great customer service and very fair pricing. It’s not easy to find a vet that is caring and considerate and fairly priced. I am so happy with the care and courteous service they provide. I highly recommend them for any of your furbaby needs.

There is no where else in Southeast Texas I will bring my furry children. Every time I have a question or concern the staff is available and will always tell me to come right in if it is urgent. If I am going out of town they are the only ones I trust to board my puppy son with. When I bring in strays they always take care of them and make sure I have the resources I need to find them a forever home. I recommend them and Dr. Pope to everyone and will always do so!!

Was in the process of getting all of my dogs switched over to this clinic. 2 of my dogs were patients already. One of the dogs that I was switching over to this clinic had an emergency, bleeding and passing clots from the nose his face was saturated in blood. I was told by a lady answering the phone that they didn't have any "work in" appointments for the day and that I could come in at 1:30 the next day. I scheduled, but was so mad because something was very wrong. I asked the staff if there was anything I could do in the meantime her response was "there isn't anything I could recommend over the phone" and said bye. I was livid. I LOVE THE VETS HERE AND THAT IS WHY I WAS SWITCHING ALL MY PETS, BUT THE STAFF WAS HORRIBLE! I don't understand why an emergency appointment wasn't offered even for an additional charge or something. Absolutely ridiculous.

Great staff and techs! Dr Seymour is the best! Clean facility and cheerful employees = outstanding.

Staff was not wearing a mask, nor encouraging other customers to wear a mask despite having a sign on the door stating that masks were mandatory to wear. I asked the nurse who was seeing my dog to put on a mask and she got irritated and slammed the door aggressively before finally coming back with a mask. The veterinarian himself them walked in without a mask, which I again asked him to put on, and after putting one on stated that he "didn't believe the masks did anything". As an immunocompromised person myself, who has lost friends and family to the COVID virus, I cannot fathom how a DOCTOR can stand there and state that masks do nothing as well as not encourage their staff to wear a mask to save lives. It honestly shocked and sickened me to have to witness their behavior.

They are amazing for boarding our cat. I don't think he wanted to leave because he had his own room there!
