Beware of this place...Rat infested...Rampant with Kennel Cough. Unsanitary conditions. Take it from a recent employee; I wouldn't bring my own dogs here...

We love to bring our boy Scout here when we go away, he always comes home happy and not for one minute do I feel worried when I’m away when he is left in the care of this wonderful team! We got daily updates of our baby who was so happy. I was so lucky to find them on the whim, thanks to the wonderful reviews and now we know where our boy will always go when we need a place for him to board. We used them twice this last month for almost a week each and the second time we showed up to drop him off he dove right into their arms like he was home and that meant so much to me knowing he was happy to be at his other home away from home. Highly recommend! Everyone is the sweetest too and really make you feel comfortable leaving your fur baby! Thank you again for everything, I couldn’t be more grateful for finding you all. We will be back one day and will always recommend here! Picture attached is the day he came home.

Our dogs and cats have been going to "A Yellow Rose Pet Resort in Azle, TX" for over 4 years. This boarding kennel was referred to me by a friend who used this facility for several years for her dog until he passed. We started using the kennel in January 2017, and during the first two years we took our pets EVERY MONTH because we had to travel to Santa Fe, NM to take care of a family friend for 5-7 days each time. After we moved her back to Texas in September 2019, our dogs are still going for Doggy Day Care every Thursday when space is available. They were also groomed there on a regular basis during all this time. We NEVER had any problems with our dogs or cats (when we would take the cats) at this location. Our pets always came home happy, healthy, clean and looked well fed. Their bed covers and rug were washed, folded and ready for us to pick up. Our pets never had to visit the vet or were ill when they came home from their extended visits or Thursday day care. I do know that someone recently filed two false reports with the Parker County Animal Control, and they surprised Kris and Steve with a full house, grounds and kennel search on two different occasions. They said they came back a second time because the person alleging the mistreatment and poor conditions said they didn't look around hard enough to find the issues. Both times, they left stating there was no proof to the allegations made against her property, care of the animals she owns or the pets in the boarding kennel. She even had an individual from Parker County Animal Control pose as a potential employee who wanted to work there, and she was given access to all the areas of her property onsite for several days. She quit after the investigations. I have looked at the negative reviews, and there is no way to tell that those photos were taken at her facility. I personally have been inside that facility, and I have not seen any problems as I am very particular. I would not leave my pets there if I thought there was poor care for her pets or our pets. NOTE: The photos are of our Zia - a 3 year old rescued German Shepherd and our Gabby - an 11 year old rescued Red Heeler who were in their kennel and just finished being groomed. They look so happy!

We recently had 3 of our pets ( two dogs and one cat) stay from May 27th until June 15th. Kris is absolutely wonderful... she took amazing care of our pets, sending us text messages. I even got a photo ! I would recommend this place to anyone. They also do walks, among other items. This place can accommodate covered and uncovered. Ours were in a covered top area because our of escape artist Benny. Thank you Kris for a wonderful stay. We were able to travel out of state with no problems.

This is our go-to spot for boarding our Australian Shepherd! It is out of our way but well worth it! Our dog is always happy to go there and happy when we pick him up! Couldn't be happier!

I could tell my fur babies had been loved and played with. The staff sent pictures when asked and even a cute video by surprise. I will absolutely put my puppies there again.

The people here are friendly and love your pets as their own. We always feel safe leaving our dogs here. We even got text updates from them when we left our young doggy for the first time, letting us know she was OK. The pricing is also reasonable.

My 1st time boarding my dog. The people are awesome. They let me know how she was doing, that made me feel good. Zoe was happy when I picked her up.

Love this place! Our standard poodle stayed here for several days and did great. Kris texted updates every day and we paid a little extra to have an “exit bath” (a great option). They offer all kinds of extras and are up front with pricing, no surprises at check out. I love the rural area and felt very comfortable leaving our fur baby. Highly recommend!

I know my dog will always be safe and secure here.

We have been taking our doggie there for 3 years and we love it. They take great care of him and have open communication so we know how he's doing while we are away. He has the best time!

Yellow Rose pet resort has been an answered prayer for our family and fur babies. Kris the owner and her entire staff have gone over and beyond for our fur babies. We are in the middle of a relo from out of state and our 3 dogs have been staying at Yellow Rose for 18 days thus far. We visit our babies and walk the property with them.. they are adjusting well to the changes! Our fur babies love the staff and run up to all of them. They are loved and well taken care of. Best of all Kris is experienced and loves on rescues, & all those who stay at AYRPR.

Nervous about boarding our dogs for the first time but they loved it! Was able to keep a peace of mind that they were in good hands. Workers even beautifully trimmed our dog's nails when a vet couldn't. Highly recommend Yellow Rose Pet Resort!!

Love this place! Our two dogs have stayed here several times and they have been very well cared for each visit! I love the updates on how they're doing! Great hours and very caring staff!

We were very nervous about leaving our two German shepherds, especially our 8 month old, but Kris and the staff put us at ease by allowing us to visit and see the premises for over an hour. Our dogs took to them immediately. Also, they offer very cost effective grooming services. Kris is even going to walk them, knowing that the puppy is not yet leash trained. Will definitely be back for our next vacation.

Clean and friendly, but two frustrations--we were running slightly late after driving 5 hours and they were unwilling to wait so that we could pick up our dog. We would have arrived exactly 8 minutes after closing..UGH. So then I have to drive 45 minutes the next day and they don't open until 10am--wasted half a day. Also the ac drips just outside the pet door and creates a haven for mosquitoes--there was a swarm outside the pet door of our dogs enclosure (really needs attention). Overpriced in my opinion.

These are the best people I have run across in Texas! They were so caring of our babies (dogs), They sent an update every night. Really allowed us to enjoy our vacation.
