I am continually impressed by West Lynn Vet. Everyone I’ve encountered is so friendly and really shows care for my dog. They’re so accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional. My dog gets scared going to the vet but they handle it like champs. I’ve had nothing but delightful experiences— highly recommend!

Sadly, I had to transfer vets after 6 years. The last 6-8 months Ive noticed a big shift in service. I had quite a bit of trouble getting anyone to call me back after serval attempts to schedule an appt for a vaccine. Multiple times, I felt the staff pushed unnecessary procedures. For Example, my dog had a UTI and without explaining the pricing of the treatment plan they gave her an X Ray and my vet bill was $500. Ultimately, I lost trust in this clinic and transfer to BlueBonnet on Riverside.

doors locked. No communication. Be prepared to stand outside for hours with mosquitoes in the heat.

I used to recommend West Lynn Vet to my friends and coworkers, but over the last year their service and care has dramatically decreased. A few times we've gotten lucky with one of the vets who provided great care and insight for our pups, but most of the time we were left with the administrative staff telling us that the vet is unavailable to speak with us and it's completely obvious they just want to get off the phone, often rudely. There's been many times where we were waiting for a call back that never came. They have also tried to keep charging us for "check-ups" that weren't necessary, running up our bill for no reason. Ultimately, we decided to leave West Lynn Vet for somewhere that truly cares for our animals, and where we are more than just a transaction.

I was able to get my dog an appointment quickly after calling around to a few vets in the West End/Clarksville area. The staff was extremely helpful and caring for his needs as a new patient of the clinic. The doctor was very thorough in explaining the vaccinations and anything I could anticipate as summer nears. Luckily, this is within walking distance from my new residence and I plan to maintain West Lynn as my primary veterinarian.

Great Vet. Gives you facts and options. She has been great with my dog during covid. Her office staff is efficient and friendly.

$800 in charged for no diagnoses after xray for cat that had been throwing up blood for 2 days. Very disappointed in poor communication of test results and high charges.

We’ve been to West Lynn several times this year and have had mixed experiences. Everyone there is nice, but there are issues with communication/vet techs. We took our dog in to get neutered - everything went fine, but we noticed they had plucked all his ear hairs out (normal for his breed) without telling or asking us. They also didn’t tell us what healing was ‘normal’ vs when to be concerned, so when there was swelling/fluid, we panicked and took him to the emergency vet because they had written this as a sign of a hematoma. $150 and two hours later, the vet told us that it was perfectly normal and to keep resting him. The next week, his pain/inflammation pills ran out. This caused a real hematoma, so back to the emergency vet we went. $300 dollars and three hours later, we were sent home with more pills as the vet was surprised that a dog of his size had been prescribed so few originally. When we went for his suture removal appointment, the vet tech put him in the wrong car (he wasn’t supposed to jump with his surgery and there were other dogs in that car!) and dismissed us when we got out and said it was our dog. They’ve also forgotten to schedule appointments for us when we emailed to set them up and refuse to fill prescriptions for heartworm preventative from third parties like Chewy. We’re going somewhere else.

Ever since our first adoption we have gone here. We used to live next door, we moved out of town about 25 minutes away on a good day. It is completely worth it, the staff is knowledge and very friendly

They really know what they’re doing here. Me and my doggo are cared for here, and every staff member I’ve met is not only friendly but knowledgeable, and understands my dog’s needs. After a visit or two, I don’t even have to tell them who my dog is. That’s what you want from a vet! The doctor’s are very informative and knowledgeable as well. I’ll never go anywhere else.

Truly a wonderful vet. I never felt rushed or brushed off, and I can tell every staff member truly loves animals. In these crazy times, they put me at ease. They are a little more pricey than other vets, but I would recommend the budget-conscious work out a plan or use insurance to get seen here, it's worth it!

I cannot say enough positive things about West Lynn Vet Clinic. My pup is only 6 1/2 months old and has already been there many times and every single time I have gone, they have been nothing short of amazing. My dog even gets excited to go into the clinic whenever we are there and that to me is a sign that it's a great place! From the Front desk staff to the vet techs to the actual doctors everyone is so so nice. I have had to call in the past to ask random questions and they are always eager to get me an answer and I appreciate that. They also will call to check up on my dog after any time I have taken her in and that to me goes above and beyond. They are a very compassionate and genuine staff and I will always recommend them to anyone who asks!

If you are looking for an absolutely amazing Vet to take your furbabies to, this is the place. Dr Rodriguez is unbelievable. My dog had some minor surgeries & I couldn't of asked for more awesome service. The handled her with all the love as if she was their own, Dr Rodriguez even handled the crazy freaked out Dogmom :) They also followed up the next day to see how we were doing. Huge Shout Out for Amazing Service.

The staff is like a family. They take very good care of your pet and yourself. It's as if you and your pet are also a member of the family. They honestly love your pets and you. They do have food and treats for dogs and cats they also have a pharmacy.

I write on behalf of Samantha and myself to say how much we appreciated Dr. Faludi’s and Dr. Dreibelbis’s contribution to the Capper and Chris Save the Animals Fund at TAMU in memory of Sophie. While, Sam seems quite content with her new only cat status, even she had to acknowledge how above and beyond the call of duty this kindness was. We are both touched. Many thanks. Mimi Purnell

I cannot rave about West Lynn enough! They are the most kind, professional, caring, and overall amazing vet I've been to here in Austin in the last 20 years, I highly recommend them!!

It may be pricier than other clinics but the location and friendliness of the West Lynn team is worth it. We've been taking our blue heeler here since we adopted him at a year old and he's never been afraid to visit, loves the techs, and enjoys making friends with the other puppy patients in the waiting room. There are treats to keep the pups happy and complimentary tea or coffee to keep the owners hydrated. Whether it's a routine scheduled appointment or a last minute emergency, we've felt that our pup is in good and capable hands every time.

Great clinic. We took our dog Frankie here for regular checkups and for a few unexpected visits too. Everyone working there is helpful/kind/knowledgeable and the cost was always fair. We’ve now moved to a new city and will miss taking our pup here.

I recently moved away from Austin and the thing I will miss the most is West Lynn Veterinary Clinic! Honestly the best vet I have ever taken my kitties to. I always felt heard and like they really really care about me & my pets. One cat has been a repeat customer and though he got a little less enthused over time about going to the vet, seeing Dr. Whitworth always calmed him down. He will miss her for sure! Anyways, I can't recommend West Lynn enough. Top notch. And the staff is always great - helpful, knowledgeable, kind.

The West Lynn Vet staff are compassionate and care deeply about animals. My geriatric kitty is a patient of Dr. Moore's and I've been highly impressed with Dr. Moore's approach, communication and follow-up. She and her vet technicians try their best to keep you and your pet at ease which is nice considering advanced pet age brings difficult conversations. I also find their on-line scheduling incredibly convenient and when I've needed a last minute appointment or RX refill they handled it without problem. Also they're on-time which is a huge plus!! I like knowing my 8:30 appointment will be at 8:30 and not whenever they get to it (minus emergencies).
