Jennifer and her assistant Skye are naturals. They are big on petting and hanging out, and so of course our little cat just loves the both of them! Why wouldn't she?! We use Sunset Canyon Pet Care every time we need to leave our cat, and they never disappoint. They feed, pet, and medicate our little one, scoop her box, and send regular updates which often include pictures. Aside from pet care, they also bring in mail and packages. They are very responsible, detail oriented, and communicate well and quickly. My family and I feel very fortunate to have found them.

Jennifer took care of our dog, 3 cats, mail and plants while we were away. She is very pleasant, detailed, clarifies, has great communication and her love of animals shines through. I received glowing recommendations for her and felt very comfortable leaving her in charge, even if it was our first time with her business. She and her daughter Skye did an extra special effort that previous pet sitters had not, in that they were so calm, patient to give treats and coax our super shy tuxedo cat into showing himself. He is so very timid and I was so pleased for him, that he felt comfortable enough to trust them. Thanks to them both for all their kind care and attention to our dear pets! I would without hesitation have them come again and recommend them to others.

We were afraid to leave our 3 dogs and cat with just any sitter, but we have total trust with Jennifer and her daughter, Skye. We are really impressed with their service! They take care of all the little details that are so important when you leave your furry family members in someone else's care: photos of your pets, little notes of assurance that all is going well and a detailed pet sitting report upon your return. I contacted Jennifer at the raving recommendations of a couple of neighbors and I am absolutely blown away by the level of care that she showed my cat, Eddie. I don't remember the last time I came home from a trip to find him this relaxed and well-adjusted. He was fed, loved, litter box cleaned and the one hairball incident was taken care of flawlessly. Plus I received wonderful photo updates like the picture attached!

I was very pleased with the care my cat received over the 4th of July weekend. She usually doesn't relate to strangers, but Jennifer and her daughter Skye managed to get her confidence. In addition to updates, they even included a photo. Very nice to see. I feel very good about the services provided and they will have my future business.

We have 2 miniature donkeys, 2 chickens and a cat. I was concerned that I would not be able to find someone willing to care for non domesticated pets(even though our chickens and donkeys are very tame and friendly) . I found Jennifer on a website called Thumbtack. She answered my request in a matter of minutes. Jennifer was willing to handle all of the details associated with the very specific needs of each set of animals.... Her communication was amazing and she was very detail oriented and had us fill out a sheet for each animals needs/vets/feeding/routine/specifics. She came out a week prior and did a complete and thorough walk through of the entire routine for each animal's A.M. and P.M. care. She followed up with texts and emails the day before her pet sitting time to make sure we were all set. Jennifer had to let chickens in/out of the coop, feed, gather eggs and make sure they were tucked in safely in their coop at night. She fed, brushed and even scooped manure from the donkey stall and pen and visited with the donkeys. She fed , took care of litter box, talked to and won over our shy kitty in 3 days time. Jennifer updated us every evening with a text to let us know how things were and even snapped a photo of our kitty and sent it to us. When we got home, Jennifer had picked up all of our mail and left us a detailed note on the pets and followed up with an email making sure we arrived safely and the pets were ok. We could not have been happier with Sunset Canyon Pet Care. We are already working out the details for a week long trip in July to use her services again. Jennifer is a gem - she took special care even to bond with my aloof cat. How wonderful to have someone take such good care of the cats and the house. I'm not sure the cats even missed me!
