My pup Rocko loves Dr. Huckabee. She is so gentle. He was hit by a car and her chiropractic helps him a lot.

I can't say enough good things about Love Pet Hospital. They truly care about animals & the their humans. They take the time to listen & really understand each animal. Dr. Huckabee is an amazing Chiropractor & so compassionate. The answer is YES, this your new Vet!

They don't care Really. They only care about $ at the end of the day. They rather inconvenience customers with financial discrepancies than inconvenience themselves 15 mins for a ultimately life saving simple blood sample.

Dr Davenport is amazing - so caring and knowledgeable about both traditional treatments and options outside western medicine. She helped us change the diet for one of our cats and turned him from a 6 ye old prediabetic lump to an energetic goblin. He's now almost 15 and hasn't had a blood sugar issue since. The office staff however, can be less helpful - and it can take months to get an appointment, which is why I deducted a star

I recently moved to Austin during a precarious time of navigating a pandemic and with a dog in early heart failure. Robin and the caring staff at Love Pet animal hospital really went out of their way to help me transition to new care here for my Bruce Lee and make sure he didn’t miss his meds despite the difficulty in getting into a new vet when there’s long waiting times to get into anywhere right now. I’m beyond grateful to have found a caring staff that stretches itself to make things happen when everyone is stretched so thin during these times. They also have amazing complimentary care with chiropractic, acupuncture and nutritional options that I couldn’t really find in the city in lived in before. My brother referred me here because Dr. Davenport and her staff helped keep his kitty thriving Way past expectations and l if e expectancy. Big thank you to Robin for her efforts for my Bruce Lee this week.

Amazing staff! Dr. Davenport is down to earth and takes the time to explain medical conditions clearly. Started coming here for elderly Weimaraner Jubilee for acupuncture and Chiropractic adjustments with Dr. D. Works well for Jubilee. You can tell she is walking and feeling better after her appointments. Affordable as well! I was inspired to write this review because I thought Jubilee was dying or in a really bad state as over the weekend she began coughing all time, couldn’t lay down without coughing, short of breath, bloated abdomen. The office worked me in next day from a cancellation. I can not express my gratitude for getting her in knowing how booked out they are all the time. Dr. D checked her out thoroughly and explained her diagnosis with some meds to make her comfortable. Thank you all for all your care of Jubilee. We appreciate you.

Hey these are obviously the very most loving of furry babies it's ever lived I can't make the same track I did about PetSmart that was just joking but these people really haul but to get your furry babies back in shape be blessed.

It is a very busy veterinarian clinic. The veterinarians seem competent & professional. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful. Nevertheless, it seems that before getting one's pet in to see the vet, a flunky - I meant assistant - must harass us with a menu of add-on / sales pitches / options that might appear designed to run up the bill for a simple visit. Of course, you can just say, "no". Eventually he will shut up & move on to the exam room. The vets that we have actually met were great. But after that's done it takes longer than it should for the busy clerks to get us the bill and process our payment. On the positive side, the place has a fine reputation, which must be why things may have seemed overly busy. However, the only part that feels arguably above average is the comparatively brief time actually meeting (or tele- conferring) with your pet's veterinarian.

Called to get appointment for sick cat all the person said was we are not the clinic for you go to pet er. The pet er places want 10x what vets want and I told them I can't afford that they don't have compassion to help people with sick animals who can't afford high vet bills.

We have been at Love Pet Hospital with our 2 pups for over 15 years. Lately when we call we have to wait a month or more for an appt. This is completely unacceptable. Switching to a vet that has time for us.

I loved the energy of Love Pet Hospital. All the staff really made my baby and I feel safe and welcomed. I'm glad to find a place that feels good to bring my babies too.

Caring vet practice I would highly recommend, because they offer outstanding veterinary care, including acupuncture, chiropractic, dietary support and they even clip Tru's thick black nails! I would highly recommend this veterinary practice.

All I needed was a vet to sign a health certificate form for acceptance into the uk and for a tapeworm treatment 5 days prior to travel. I was told they couldn't squeeze me in two weeks in advance and that I was required to go through a pet travel agency. I've already called the animal reception center at Heathrow and they said that wasn't necessary. I've been going here since my animal was born and I can't believe they turned me down.

Love Pet Hospital may be on the small side but every single member of the staff I encountered was incredibly friendly and patient with my rambunctious large dogs! They all gave them tons of treats (every person asked permission, don't worry) to make them happy and comfortable. They explained everything to the best of their knowledge and referred me to websites where I could do my own research as well. I did decide to opt out of some vaccine booster recommendations because of my own research and while several people talked to me about it, they did respect my decision :-) I had Dr Vance and she was so friendly and patient. And the vet tech I had (so sorry I forgot your name, you were awesome!) literally sat on the floor to slather love on my dogs and distract them while Dr Vance did the check ups. My 70lb dog was literally so comfortable he was laying in her lap, belly-up, to receive pets. The whole team was fantastic and accommodating! I could not be happier. The only thing I encountered that was anything less than amazing was that I was told bordatella was about $18 each and it ended up being $30 each. Not a super big deal since I had to get it done either way, but it was definitely a bit of a surprise at checkout. If you are reading reviews to get an idea of prices and costs, I'll include what I encountered! The vet visit was $50 each, rabies were $23 each, and bordatella was $30 each. They also mentioned heartworm tests were $50. Obviously call for pricing accurate to you but this is a general idea :-) The pricing is reasonable but I will say at low cost vets (like Thrive) it's only $10-$15 for rabies or other vaccines usually, so there's that to think about if you are just going here for vaccines. Thanks for the amazing experience, I will definitely be back in the future :-)

All the vets and staff here are wonderful. They've helped our pets through hard times and kept them healthy in good times. They also offer acupuncture and herbal medicine for pets if that's somthing you're looking for.
