Anthony was AMAZING. He’s the only dog groomer I’ve been to so far that has actually given my dog a quality haircut, completely blended and nicely cut. He’s been doing this for 18 years and it definitely shows. Despite how their previous owner responded with on any negative reviews, luckily they have a new owner now! Go to their dog groomer, Anthony! He’ll hook you up 100% ????????

The worst location to take your dog. This location changed owners and the person there is rude and very disrespectful. My dog always have long hair and we blow drying its hair and use special products. We took the dog to this location and they SHAVED all my dogs hair and then have the courage to tell us that he did that because we don't take care of our dog. He doesn't know us or know how we take care of our dog. The problem is that he doesn't know how to groom the dog right or he is lazy. I have been in Austin for more than 10 years and no one has done this to my dog before. Worst grooming location ever. Editing my post. I just saw their reply to my post, this is the reason why I say they are so disrespectful, my husband did complain and was very mad about this when they said that we are not taking good care of our dog. They are very unprofessional and don’t have any skills for customer service.

We came in today for my cat nail clipping. The job was quick and efficiently.

The manager does not want to be there. He hates his job. Call or stop by and see his attitude. Trash. :) Nothing we can do other than let people know to not go there. Wait for his reply and see. It will be very defensive. He never take responsibility of his action. It's always the costumers fault and never him.

I have a maltipoo who weighs every bit of 5lbs my usual groomer was booked so I decided to give this place a try I took Onyx in who does have a little of anxiety but that’s to be understandable due to this guy was new to him… I drop him off I get a call back no less than 20 mins stating Onyx is aggressive and wasn’t allow them to groom him I get there to pick him up they guy tells me he has to muzzle him because he bit him(remember he’s 5lbs) Onyx was not even placed in a crate he’s pushed in a small room in the corner shaking for dear life I grab Onyx and go then once I get home and get him calm I noticed a blood clot in his eye! I don’t want to jump to conclusions but I do have an action plan to find out exactly what happened

One star is beyond much for this place. They only have one guy who is “grooming, answering calls, manager, supervisor”. I have never seen a superhero in my life doing all this work. Clearly nobody wants to work for there. He is Very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. You can clearly see how he is responding to negative reviews on the google. This place should not be open to the public because of the way they treat their customers. Let’s wait and see if this place remains open.

Take your money somewhere else. This place is very bad.

The owner/manager had become more disrespectful and aggressive over the years. My dog was terrified to go inside and while I was trying to calm her down he pulled her hard across the floor and when I tried calming her down he said I don’t know why you’re talking to her, you can do that at home now you are wasting my time since were about to close (it was 1.5hr before close). He could’vejust started with that, as the hours weren’t listed on the door. He’s not only extremely aggressive and a horrible person, he treats dogs and people terribly. He should be fired.

Two words: Class Action If you value your dog, do NOT take ‘em here! The responses from the owner should also tell you everything there is about this business.

We have taken our 3 dogs to this groomer for years. We don’t live close by, but the haircuts are great. Service level depends on who is in the shop. I have had many conversations with Eduardo (Eddie) owner/manager regarding him working so much because it’s hard for him to get reliable help that shows up on time. I understand there are busy days so I called after 3 hours to inquire if they had an idea when my dog would be ready for pickup. Cody, Eddie’s shop assistant, provided a very dry and unenthusiastic “we will call you when your dog is ready”. Yes I know that. My reply was it’s been 3 hours do you have an estimate? Same response just more irritated the second time. Seriously? I’m not asking for specifics. Thirty minutes later my dog was magically ready! When I picked up my dog I realized Eddie wasn’t there and he had rehired the guy that worked there once before. Funny because Eddie and I have had several conversations about this guy. He apparently had a flat tire this morning which caused him to be late. Hence the bad attitude I suppose. He said they don’t tell customers when the dog will be ready and that’s fine. I don’t blame them for that. However they should let customers know if they are running behind and an idea or estimate like your dog is next or 3rd in line. If nothing else maybe just an apology that it is going to take a little longer or some good old fashioned customer service. In a calm manner I suggested that Cody be less sassy over the phone. I also suggested they be honest when questioned and I was met with excuses, resistance, and a flippant you can take your business elsewhere. Guess what? They are right. We will. At $70 a haircut I’m not interested in being treated poorly. I wasn’t going to write this negative review, but I was told Eddie wouldn’t do anything about it anyways if I mentioned it to him. So I’ll mention it to Google instead. Negative reviews speak for themselves. Great haircuts! Terrible attitudes.

DO NOT LEAVE YOU BELOVED PET HERE! Tried to get my pet groomed here and when I came in the two men that were working could barely bother to help me or answer any questions. There were dogs in all but one kennel and the dog getting groomed …

I took my dog in as normal today but the sweet young man who has work there for years was gone. Replaced by a drunken older man who was barely leadable. He yelled out at me me that I had to go brush my dog. Alcohol wafting from his breath at 8:00a. He was crazed and yelling at no one in particular. I was afraid he would hurt me. I grabbed my dog and ran as he continued to ell out. Do not trust your beloved animals to this drug using groomer.

Thank you Daycare Grooming in Austin Texas. Yall took my baby without a appointment. I had just got done camping and he was covered in fleas and ticks. Not only did they clean and cut his nails(hard job) they got all the ticks and fleas off. They cleaned his ears and did more than I expected. My baby feels so much better. The staff also educated me on tips and tricks for his overall health. Well I'm off on my next adventure and I look forward to seeing y'all soon. They did such a good job ! My puppy’s hair was a mess and matted really bad and they gave him a brand new cut for his first time. And I was able to get it the same day! And they were so nice ! We will definitely be coming back !

To say Eddie made my day would be a HUGE understatement! My profile pic is our pup. We took him to our "Usual Groomer" who called and told me he needed to be shaved down to his skin because of mattes. When I said, "no!" to the shave, they over-charged me for the bath they "already gave him" and returned him to me w/ a dirty face!! Eddie had no complaints at all about mattes, was able to groom him (beautifully!!) at his regular, cute length, and did so very quickly w/ no appointment! When I went to pick up our pup, he was in the front window, dancing around, happy to see me, and adorable!! This is the first groomer I've ever used where I got to SEE the grooming results BEFORE paying!!! Eddie was also extremely kind, accommodating, and understanding!! VERY HIGHLY recommend & am SO thankful I found Daycare Grooming & especially Eddie!!!

Awesome! We have been coming for years. My two late dogs Elvis and Charlie and now our puppy Luna. Always helpful and so good with her. They are always able to fit her in for a quick bath.

Had all four of my Yorkies groomed by Eddie, all in one day, and was very pleased with the quality of the groom, the quick turn around and the value. No hassle, what a nice change from the groomers I have tried elsewhere. Each dog was groomed very evenly, nails done and ears clean and Cody was very helpful with getting my handful of pups to the car. I will definitely use them from now on!
