My husband and found clean critters 5 yrs ago when we lived downtown. We absolutely love taking our Tibetan spaniel here for grooming! So much that we travel from Parmer & 620 to take our pup here for services. They are always polite and provide and excellent service!

I’ve been taking my labs here since 2015. Always friendly service and they do a good job with our pups.

I've been using Clean Critters for years now, and I have been consistently happy with how my Shiba Inu looks, feels, smells and sheds less after visiting. Overall, the business and staff are so accommodating about appointments and any additional needs that I request or vary (trimming fur between paw pads, nails, etc).

Always the best service! They always take care of my Klondike they're always very prompt and very caring for my animal! I'm very grateful for clean critters Y'all are the best!

UPDATE: the owner of Clean Critters has reached out to both myself and my girlfriend. She explained that there was miscommunication between what was asked for when our dog was dropped off. Somehow the right message did not get through. It’s unfortunate that our dog won’t look like how we like her to look for some time but I really appreciate that she cared enough to follow up and explain what happened. It means a lot to me as a customer and a dog owner and I can see us bringing her back to Clean Critters in the future now that we better understand the necessity of being clear in what we request. And for what it’s worth the cut our pup received was done well, even if it’s not what we wanted, and she’s still very cute. TLDR - They buzzed all the fur off of our dog without asking our approval and against what we had asked for when we dropped her off. We had an unfortunate experience the first time that we took our dog to Clean Critters. Our dog is an aussie-doodle and a little fluff ball. We really like her fluffiness but she was in desperate need for a trim. We asked that they bring down her coat a bit and clean up her face so she can see. And we also said the cliché "don't make her look like a poodle" thing. Expecting to have a more cleaned up version of our dog, when we picked up our puppy she looked like a completely different dog. They had buzzed her entire body and all of her fur was gone. When we called later asking what happened they said that that is what we asked for. It's not. We were really upset. Our dog was really upset and unhappy for the next two days before getting back to her normal self. Our dog is only 7 months old and her puppy coat is now gone. It will be at least a few months before she looks like herself again. Some objective thoughts - Is it possible that we actually did tell them that we want them to buzz her body and make her look like a goofy looking poodle? Absolutely not. Is it possible that there was just a mix up of communication? Maybe...? Perhaps we indicated what we wanted incorrectly. What do I think actually happened? I think that our dog went in there and her cut was more difficult than anticipated. Her fur was probably a little matted and we had taken her to the park the day before and she likely had some burs in her fur that we missed when combing her out. This was also following the winter storm that crippled Texas for a week. I think what happened is that our dog's cut was more difficult than anticipated, they had a ton of other dogs they needed to get to because of backed up appointments from the storm, and they just decided to buzz her and not deal with it the way we asked. That's my hypothesis at least. If that's true then I'm very disappointed that they didn't call us to ask if that was okay or at least inform us what was happening. Another potential reason this happened is because they just got the order wrong. Who knows. But it's not what we asked for and we won't be going back to them.

Clean critters is always the best place to take your pup for bathing and grooming!they do everything they can to make our life better. Thank you everyone clean critters for being so kind and being so professional and taking care of Klondike so much!

Amazing service, very professional and reasonably priced! My dog came back very happy and clean. She even let them trim her nails when most groomers have had trouble in the past!

I love how wonderful my corgi's haircut and blow dry look everytime.

I cannot say enough good things about Clean Critters grooming! They are the only place I will trust to give my golden retrievers a perfect cut every single time. We always get asked by other golden retriever owners where we get our dogs groomed—that’s how good they look! And this happens even when we are months out from the last cut. They are also very fairly priced for such a quality bath and cut. Thank you for being the best go-to spot for our pups!

I can't say how much I LOVE Clean Critters, and I know that I'm hard to please! lol They are so sweet and you can tell they just absolutely love dogs. They do an amazing job on the cut and always put adorable little bows in her hair at her ears. We have a mini Bernadoodle but she takes after the Bernese way more, so she looks like a mini Bernese Mountain Dog and they give her the best cuts. I absolutely recommend them!

I've taken all of my dogs to Clean Critters. Kevin and Aimee and their staff are nothing short of awesome. They're a little more expensive than the big box pet store groomers and the local chains, but you absolutely get what you pay for; your pup will never look better and you can rest assured that they'll be well loved by the crew at Clean Critters.

We have been taking our girls here since they opened and just love the special care the staff takes with our pups. Definitely recommend!

If something goes wrong, they do not take ANY responsibility. They'll just take your money and put you at blame. The (male) owner is not kind, condescending and comes across as those types of humans that can never be wrong. They accidentally shaved our dog (that has a double coat) and now our dog can get sunburnt. Did they try to apologize and keep our business? Nope. Not kind humans.

It was my first time to bring my dog here and they were really good with my pup. Barnie loved the pampering he got!

Friendly service. Did a thorough job. My dog always looks spiffy and seems real happy when I pick him up.

Only place I'll ever take my dogs for grooming. The staff at Clean Critters are the friendliest and most helpful people you'll meet. I have two mastiffs so even a simple nail trim can be quite the undertaking but they handle it with ease and grace. One of my dogs refuses to go into their building but they are more than happy to trim his nails in the front yard while giving him lots of pets and praise. Ample parking on site as well as a shop to pick up supplies for home, cannot recommend Kevin and his crew enough.

Took my very overgrown German Sheppard/ Australian Sheppard mix there for the works--a full cut, bath, teeth cleaning and nail clipping. Not only did they do an amazing job with a rather difficult coat--those of you who know Aussies know that their hair growth is no joke--but the price was fair and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating with an early morning drop off time. I will absolutely take my dog, Rosa, there again and I highly recommend them to all. No unnecessary frills or sales pitches, just a group of kind dog lovers who do a good job.
