These Doctors are exceptional. I've found Dr. Carpenter to be quite thorough, an honest communicator, and very knowledeable.

Misdiagnosed my dog with corneal dystrophy. I requested a fluorescein stain because many moons ago I was a vet tech and it looked like a textbook eye ulcer to me, however during the appointment the vet called and said she wouldn’t do the stain because she was sure it was corneal dystrophy, which in her defense is a common ailment for my dog’s breed. I paid for an additional $300 in tests, and all came back normal. She reached out to an eye specialist that has never seen my dog and told me to have her spayed as this would be permanent, but my dog was spayed years before visiting this clinic. I was told not only would the spot on her eye never go away, but would get worse with time. Cut to a couple month’s later...and her eye has completely healed. Now I feel like a bad dog owner because she’s been masking her pain all this time, and a simple stain would have led to a proper diagnosis and a quicker healing time. I will find a new veterinarian I can trust. This clinic is great if you just need basic checkups and vaccinations, but it doesn’t seem they know much beyond that.

Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic is Top Notch!! I was overwhelmed by the courtesy, professionalism and compassion my cat and I received, from moment one. My cat was calm when he was brought out to me, I could see right away he was treated kindly. Both Doctors communicated, in detail, the proposed treatment and up to the minute progress. The staff is fantastic. The Doctors are fantastic. Absolutely marvelous people and establishment.

Our “baby” ( Shitz tzu ) had an eye infection. If it wasn’t for this clinic he probably would of lost his eye. After a few months he grew a bump on his butt and had some teeth going bad. Once again they took great care of him. Surgically …

We have taken four cats to this clinic over the past 11 years. Snake bites, abcesses, behavioral issues, you name it. Dr. Reinap and his staff have always been very good with the cats, and we have had good luck getting them all healthy again.
