Dr Unflat and his team are excellent. They have gone above and beyond to give our puppy everything he needs to be healthy. They are very responsive when you have a question.

This is the best clinic you could ask for! Dr.Unflat and Dr.VanWinkle are absolutely amazing and truly care about your pets as well as you. They don't rush you at all, take the time to explain everything and make sure you understand all that they are saying! Its unreal how much care, love and compassion both Doctors and the staff here have. I truly feel as if they are my 2nd family.The staff is amazing as well! Super friendly and very caring! Incredible vet clinic. Dr Unflat and his entire staff are great, they are extremely caring and I feel really comfortable brining my cat Stella in for care. I actually live pretty far from the clinic but it’s completely worth it to drive out of my way for them. They always provide the highest level of care for next to nothing, I’m always shocked at how low my vet bills are for the amount of work they do. I’d highly recommend using this clinic for all your veterinary services.

Been meaning to leave this review for awhile but this is the only primary vet we will go to in Austin and we live 30-40 minutes away. Dr. Unflat and team saved my dog's life, literally. They keep looking when he seemed fine and suggested specialists as soon as needed. Their number one concern is always the health of my pet and that's how it should be. Wonderful care, wonderful people, cannot recommend highly enough. We send everyone who asks here and will continue to do so.

My dog family has been going to Barton creek animal clinic for years and years now. They’ve always been very attentive and sweet to our dogs. Dr. Unflat is amazing- he always gives thorough explanations that make you feel your pets are in good hands. He even allowed me to hear one of my dog’s heart beat and look into another one of my dog’s ears so I could be part of the visit and understand any diagnoses. He is very welcoming and very professional and personable. I love Barton creek animal clinic and their prices are also very reasonable and doable in comparison with other vet clinics in the area. Highly recommend.

Dr Van Winkle. Hero. We've been going for dog canine chiropractor and dog canine acupuncture. She actually assessed my dog. She looked him over, watched him walk, asked questions, and looked for his unique needs, instead of doing the same chiropractic methods for every patient, like other vets. We've been through three other chiropractors. No one assessed his needs, his walk, his gait, nothing. Dr Van Winkle is the first vet we've met that assesses him and then tailors the chiropractic work to his needs. There's been great improvement and my boy and I both feel better after leaving the office, me with peace of mind and him actually having had work done on him that benefits him uniquely as an individual. Our furry family loves Barton Creek Animal Clinic! We have 2 dogs and 1 pup has a chronic condition that requires many, many (did I say "many"?) vet visits throughout the year. In addition to her medical needs, our one dog has an extremely nervous nature. Everyone at Barton Creek always treats her sweetly and patiently even with all her quirks! It's easy to schedule visits with the clinic, the front office staff are friendly and helpful (and return phone calls quickly!) while Dr. Unflat and his team are always eager to explain what's their plan and what's going to happen next. They are thorough in their treatment and cost conscientious, both which I appreciate. We've gotten exemplary care here and I feel lucky to have found them.

Dr. Unflat and the whole staff are wonderful! They take such good care of my fur babies and are very straight forward. They do not sell you on things you do not need. This is a trustworthy, professional establishment that gets to know you and your pets on a personal level.

Dr. Van Winkle is magic, and so is her staff at the Barton Creek Animal Clinic. Our cat responded immediately to their tender care. They were kind to see her without an appointment. I was very worried about her yesterday, but now, 24 hours after treatment and medication, she is up and about, and eating breakfast. Dr. Van Winkle and staff are friendly, hands-on animal lovers who've always given my cats excellent care. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been going to Barton Creek Animal Clinic for nearly 20 years. Dr. Van Winkle is extremely knowledgeable, explains everything very thoroughly, and is extremely kind and caring. She also has expertise in alternative pet health care like acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Dr. Unflat, who has been at the clinic for the last few years, is also very knowledgeable, caring, and an all-around nice guy. He is always willing to take extra time to explain anything and to talk about his experience. The vets often consult with each other, as well as other vets, and also go the extra mile and do research. The staff here is also great, and some have been here almost as long as I have been coming here. Jessica is always helpful in making sure that everything runs smoothly and has often helped me with appointments when scheduling is a challenge, Zach and Rachel are great with my cats, friendly, and always show concern. Other vet techs who have been here in the past have also been fantastic, which I think says a lot about Barton Creek Animal Clinic. I have gone to other clinics (backups in emergencies) over the years, and I always realize how fortunate I am to have BCAC as my primary clinic. I can't recommend them highly enough!!

I take my 17 year old dog and 19 year old cat to Barton Creek, and have ever since I adopted them. Dr. Van Winkle and Dr. Unflat are wonderful vets. I especially appreciate the time they take to explain exactly what's going on with my pets and what all of the treatment options are.

Knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Some vets prescribe expensive testing before making a diagnosis, but this clinic doesn't have than mindset. We've switched all or our business to this vet.
