I don't think I could've found a better clinic for my fearful, untrusting dog. They are WONDERFUL with him, as he came to me with some issues. They are so patient and are able to get everything done that needs to be done with him. They always go over what he needs or doesn't necessarily need to be done at that time, and explains the costs beforehand. I couldn't be more pleased with everybody at this clinic!!

Allandale Veterinary is lovely. The experience I have is they take care of you and they take care of your best buddy. I'm happy to report they have lots of ways to help keep your best buddy calm and okay which helps you stay calm and okay. Super empathy and good communication skills. We love them! Been a client since 2011.

Love this clinic. Honest, upfront, and of course the most important part is that they clearly do the best to take care of my fur babies. I had one of my cats go in for a dental procedure, and the staff and veterinarian put my mind at ease throughout the procedure. The veterinarian called me multiple times throughout the procedure to keep me up to date and was very patient with my questions. My kitty got home safe and sound, the most important part! This might be a slightly more expensive veterinarian office, but my furry children are worth it. You get what you pay for in this case.

We’ve been taking our various cats to Allandale for about 25 years now, and have always received thoughtful and attentive care. They are professional, caring, and supportive. They have helped with many serious illnesses and, when it was time, crossings over the rainbow bridge. They have helped our kitties lead proactive, healthy lives. Highly recommended.

They did a great job taking care of our cat and fixing up his teeth. He's much happier now.

They saved my dogs life back about 3 years ago. They offered to help me with a payment plan and only take a 3rd up front for a $2500 operation. But I was lucky enough not to need it. Now that it’s 2020, COVID and I’m watching every penny I spend, they took $100 out of my account for missed appointments! But the worst part is when I called and asked why after the first $50, I was reassured that the money would go towards shilohs appointment, whenever I would be able to mss as me it in. I asked what they thought it was, if I could save $ and treat her otc myself. But no answer. Just make an appointment, come in. I told them my situation, my schedule might change within hours. So as gain I was reassured that $100 would go toward next vet appointment, which I had made those 2 for a checkup, just a check up, but not this last one, when I asked about the $. I was told no I were oiling be s as one to use it it was taken out for missed appointment time! Which I wasn’t told about that either! $50 for missed appointment! Even tho I told them I might change last minute. They said nothing. Until they wanted the 2nd $60 payment. Then they lied, said it was still mine to use next visit, but found out late tonight NOPE IT THEIR MONEY AND THEY LIED SBOUT IT! NOW I JUST FEEL LIKE MY DOG(baby) ARE NOTHING BUT ANOTHER $$$$$$$ TO THEM!!! Unless you’re rich, and like being treated like another customer, or how much someone can get out of you. This vet clinics help and kindness ghat made you feel completely safe and trusting has just depleted. It’s just about ???? to them now. Trying to get as much out of the new Aunstinites moving here as they can now. Seems like it’s got a corporate staff now. South Austin Pet Clinic is laid back old Austin, when people still cared and talked to you as a person, not looked at as a paycheck. ????????????. ????????????????❌❌❌❌❌October 29-2020 The main concern i had was one of your techs cslling and FLAT OUT LYING ABOUT THR REASON FOR A GOOD CCARD TO CHARGE! The lied and charged me $300, which I WAS MADE TO BELIEVE WAS TO HER NEXT VISIT. If they wanted money for a missed appointment, THEN SAY THST AND NOT LIE FOR THE $! What else have you lied to pet owners about for an extra $100 here and there? And civid 2020? Evrryone is short on $, and your lying to get more $$$ out if us!❌❌❌❌❌????????????????

Dr Weisz and the team at Allandale Vet Clinic are the absolute best! I’ve brought my pets here for many years and they have received only the greatest care!

After 8 years of loyal service here I can no longer recommend this clinic as I was recently given contradictory medical information by two top level staff. During a phone call with the hospital administrator, Adriana, I was given information that directly contradicted what the doctor told me about a particular medication my dog was on. I subsequently learned Adriana's information not only conflicted with what the doctor told me but also what the product information insert says. The contradiction in information could have potentially put my dog at risk had I not taken notes during my visits with the doctor and done research online. During that phone call Adriana also questioned how well I take care of my dog. Not only was this incident really upsetting personally but made me question other medical information I have been given at this clinic. On a positive note, I can say through the years I have experienced really warm and caring service from the front desk and vet tech staff.

We love Allandale Vet! They are always helpful, friendly and accommodating. My dog even loves going to the vet now because he enjoys seeing the staff.

I have been to quite a few Vet Clinics over the years, but this one clinic has absolutely wins the number one spot in this families lives. The Doc's and staff here are all superstars in our eyes. Their level of attention and compassion are second to none in our opinion. Our babies love everyone here, and considering our feral rescues love it says the world to us. So much can be said about the people here, but you will have to discover it for yourself.

I have been bringing my doggies to Allandale Vet Clinic for about 7 years now, and absolutely love this vet. Dr. Mohammed RULES! She really has a way with animals and always takes the time to ask in-depth questions about any problems that are going on, plus she takes the time to listen to owners. It's a great feeling knowing that you can ask about what is going on without being made to feel dumb or rushed. The staff at the front are inviting, very friendly, and super organized. The front office and rooms are always clean & tidy. This place will take your pet's health very seriously, and they will explain all of the medical jargon that other vets will expect you to already know. If you're looking for a high-quality, life-long vet for your baby, Allandale is the place!

This review is from my experience at the clinic in August 2019. AVC is not my usual clinic, but I was leaving out of country and wanted to get a checkup for my dog before I dropped her off with my friend. Full disclosure: I was heading out of the country for a year so stressed and very emotional at the thought of leaving my dog for a time period. The staff at AVC were friendly, attentive, and supportive. While waiting for Dr. Mohammed to see my dog, I spoke with the technician, Adrianna. Once I told her why my dog was having a checkup, she comforted me and let me vent. She went ABOVE and BEYOND the scope of her job and I am forever grateful. She made sure all the paperwork was up to date for my dog and even printed extra copies for my friend to have. Dr. Mohammed was thorough in her checkup and patient with my dog. In my hurry, I left without purchasing medicine my dog needed, so they called me with a reminder! A HUGE thanks to AVC for helping put my nervous heart at ease and taking great care of my dog.
