One star since zero is not an option. This place is the worst. The owners are a total joke and have no customer service ability whatsoever. Find yourself a legit vet office. After I posted this review I began receiving messages on Facebook from Dr. O'Brien's husband, who she clearly gave my private patient information to. I called HCSO whose deputy advised that she wanted me to remove my post or she'd be getting a lawyer. Just wow!

The office staff is rude and completely unprofessional. No customer service here whatsoever. I witnessed an altercation between one of the owners and another patron and was completely disgusted by the lack of professionalism at this establishment. What's even more disappointing, is that this is the type of environment that I have been bringing my animals into. I will definitely NOT be bringing my animals back here. If you are looking for a vet, please go anywhere, but, here!

Dr. Barlow spayed our rescue lab mix puppy. Staff was helpful and professional. Dr. Barlow took time to explain what care would be needed at home and what dangers to watch out for. Highly recommended.

This place is great. They really care about your babies. Today, one of mine had surgery there. They made me feel less anxious and answered all my questions. I was going to another vet, but one day needed to get another of my babies to a Dr asap. They got her in immediately. I will never go anywhere else!

This little guy was a stray. We took him to the clinic to make sure he was okay. They were so friendly and courteous. They told me his breed, checked for a chip from previous owner, gave vaccination, and told me how old he is. I expected the price to be outrageous, but it was reasonably priced. Friendly staff that truly loves animals.

They were very accommodating and got me in and out quickly. Wonderful place and very nice people! Didn't try to rob me!

They may be expensive, but what you get is worth more than the price you pay. The quoted price is always very close to accurate.

I can say that my sophie gets the best treatment!

Excellent animal clinic. The facility is clean without any detectable odor. Staff is very friendly. Dr. Terry has always taken good care of our dogs. Athens Animal Clinic is a great clinic for pet care.

Of all the vets in the Athens area this one is the best

We boarded our dog Thelma for two days at this clinic and we believe she enjoyed herself and had fun! Great room space, nice outside play area, clean, and the staff was friendly! Thank you Athens Animal Clinic!

I have been a vet tech for 8 years and recently quit working in the field so I needed to find a place closer to home to take my animals to. We recently fostered for a rescue a group of kittens 5 weeks old. One became very anemic and was almost non-responsive. As a vet tech I know how critical this is and how often they die with similar symptoms. Well Athens Animal Clinic had recently been amazing with my personal cat when he had a high fever so I took her there and they saved her life. I kept waiting for the call that she had passed since I've seen it so often but the doctor called me twice a day every day she was there and she kept getting better and better. She is thriving now and the rescue will be able to adopt her to a family soon! Every aspect from calling to get in that morning, to the updates, to being able to get a catheter in that small of. cat (it's very hard), to being able to discuss my concerns with the doctor and get valuable feedback, has definitely made it sure this is where I will take all my animals. I have very high standards of vet clinics since I know the industry and Athens exceeded all of them!

Doctors and staff are great. Only reason it's not 5 star is the dust and dirtyness of front, rooms, etc.

I pass 4 animal clinics on my I hour drive to Athens animal clinic. Its that good. Ofcourse he gets icecream on the way home for being a good boy.

Spent thousands on pet care at this clinic. Today they charged me incorrectly. Got generic since the brand heart medication was on back order. Have gotten both medications in the past and was charged correctly. Called clinic after checking my past charges and tried explaining it to Dr. O'Brien and she laughed at me for such a small matter. Said it was a pain to price match with online Petmeds.com. I said in the future I will ask for a prescription to order online, they do not provide that.

The veterinarians and administrative staff are wonderful. A very caring and pet friendly environment.

Very friendly environment! Thorough evaluation and treatment of my kitty by Dr. Platt. Vet tech,Chelsea, was very efficient and sweet to my kitty girl.

Danger...danger. if you love your pets, avoid this place T all costs. Unless you like dealing with rude staff and having your pocket picked. Then I guess it's all good.

I love these Drs. They take such good care of my 8 furry babies. I wouldn't take them any where else. When you step into their clinic, you don't even know you are at an animal clinic. All of the employees are so friendly & it is always kept spotless. They genuinely care about you & your pets.

They were able to get me in when every other vet clinic had at long wait time. I felt like my dog needed attention right away. Everyone in the clinic was so nice and my dog is on the way to feeling better, I'm so relieved :) thanks athens animal clinic!

Good people and vets

The staff and Dr's are very courteous and personal, the clinic is clean and never have to wait but a few minutes. Had a nice vacation knowing our 4 dogs were being well taken care of.
