I wanted to try a new vet because my current vet is getting rather expensive. Took in my 15 year old cat with kidney issues to get some follow up blood work done. Waited 20 minutes past my appointment time and payed $145 for Dr. Hodges to tell me "I don't know what else to tell you".

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS IN THEIR CARE. I boarded my two dogs in the indoor boarding space, in a shared kennel. I got a call on day two from the vet saying he did an eye exam on my dog. I never authorized an exam— my dog has had eye tumors since 2018, has had them removed and looked at over and over, they come back. He tried to tell me that the person who dropped my dogs off for boarding said to do the eye exam, which is not true. Their staff called me when my mother was dropping the dogs off with questions about their flea and tick medicine and that would have been the time to ask me about they eye tumors and ask if an eye exam was wanted. But the staff member never did. So then the vet back tracks and said oh well, she must have jumped the gun on that one. Also my dog is diabetic, he has to take insulin shots with meals twice a day. When I picked him up he was COVERED with urine, and the itemized receipt that they gave me showed they also did a blood glucose test, without consulting me first. They returned both of my pets to me with excess dog food, as if they weren’t being fed the right amount each day. I wrote very clear instructions on how much food to give each dog, twice a day— and I asked the staff member over the phone if my instructions were clear. She said yes. Putting one and two together with the dried urine on my dog and the blood glucose test on the receipt that no one mentioned to me…I can just imagine that they were not giving him his insulin shots and that’s why he was urinating all over himself. Do not take your pets here.

We boarded our dogs here for 5 days while we were out of the country thinking they would be in the best possible care since we were boarding with their vet. I got a call letting me know that both dogs were sick to their stomach and asked for my permission to treat them with antibiotics and anti- diarrhea medications. I know It is normal for this to happen and was relieved to know that they were being treating them promptly. To my surprise on the day of pickup, we found out by the GROOMER at the vet that one of my dogs had diarrhea all over the kennel/wall prior to the bath and that the dogs were not treated for the duration of the stay as promised. The office explained that It was a miscommunication on their part and that we were receiving 2 days free because of their mistake. While I appreciate them trying to make It right, I am sick to know that my dogs had to sit in their mess without treatment for that many days. We board our pets with hopes to have peace of mind to not have to check in everyday or worry, when now I wish I would’ve checked in to remind them to do their jobs. Will not board them here ever again.

This is the place to go if you need an International Health Certificate for your pet! The office staff was super friendly and helpful! They got me in quickly and walked me through every step of the way. I was more than pleased with the pricing, I paid just a fracture of what I was quoted by a approved Vet in Clovis, and one in Lubbock. I felt super blessed by them, and it was a Hassle-Free Experience. Dr. Kinser is super friendly, and made my anxious dog feel very comfortable and at ease. I absolutely recommend the Coulter Animal Clinic. Thank you for everything!

So this review is two fold. One- My dog came in with reverse sneezing and after meds didn't work, DR recommend a nose scope for possible tumor/foreign object. Got the scope done, Dr told me my 12 year old dog had a tumor in her noise. Good thing I got a second opinion. I then took her to Lubbock and the specialist internist vet says he DIDN'T think the scope showed any tumor, so he said let's do a CT Scan to rule out everything. $1,000 later, CT scan is done, and NO TUMOR WAS PRESENT. Money down the drain. Also- My bull dog has been very sick for a couple of months, loosing weight, not eating great, pot bellied, my husband was running point on touching base on what to do next, as of most recently, he has been calling since last Thursday (5 days ago), and still to this current minute in time, no call back after he has repeatedly called asking for next steps. I only write good and bad reviews where I see warranted.

Visiting my son here for a couple weeks and one of my chihuahuas developed an impacted anal gland requiring a vet visit. I was a little apprehensive bringing her to a “strange” vet but they couldn’t have been nicer. Got me in the same day and saw her very quickly. Took care of the issue, gave her meds and the price was reasonable. If I lived here, this would be where I would take my dogs.

Very nice staff! Non-judgemental and happy to help. The veterinarian was awesome. He took great care of us, answered all of our questions, and explained everything in good detail. For a first visit with two of my furbabies I highly recommend. I came out with both arms and legs lol!

Dr. Kinser is an amazing Vet. We had to put our 11 year old dog down. Dr. Kinser made me feel very comfortable. She explained how everything worked. Gave me as much time as I needed with Kota before she was gone. Dr. Kinser was amazing and I'll never forget her. She even sent a sympathy card a few days later! Highly recommended this vet.

Unprofessional and not reliable is an understatement. Refused to check sick puppy for parvo after they were asked multiple times, they did blood work instead. Was told the puppy had a blockage, to take him home, and give him 3 different meds. Had to take him back the next morning due to no improvement. This time they Tested him for parvo like they were asked the first time and it was positive. Thats 2 bills now for what theyk no should have done in one. Had to take the puppy to the small animal emergency hospital for treatment and yet another bill. The issue with all this is, they should have tested for parvo when asked the first time, during the first visit. Hours count when it comes to a puppy and parvo. And all they can offer is “I’m sorry!” Yet they didn’t mind taking the money for their lack of concern. Take your babies elsewhere, they deserve better.

They ALWAYS take great care of our cats (and us). The entire staff treat our cats as their cats and us as family. I can't imagine taking our cats anywhere else.
