RTM Ranch Aledo, Texas

My friend has boarded here and worked here off and on for several years and it’s one of the most toxic environments I’ve ever been around. The facilities are top notch but owners are paranoid and crazy…. Horse care is ok at best. Best part is I know for a fact that most if these 5 star reviews are made up by the owners and the owner threatens anyone who posts a negative review because she can’t handle it. It’s a toxic place to say the least enter with caution. I’ll probably be cussed out by the owner fir posting this… watch.

Shane who currently works there is extremely helpful and provides wonderful care. RtM grooms the arenas regularly.

Bad bad place. WARNING!! The owners are extremely unstable and very uneducated on horses. Most of the positive reviews on here are by the owner‘s fake accounts. Very high turnover rate and I’ve heard of several horses dying here

The facility is nice and clean and love that Whitney is putting on round robins and penning practice close to home. The arena ground is hard on the horses though????. The front round pen by the entrance is awesome... maybe an example of a recent goal for the arena. Will definitely come to more.

I love this place! The way it's layed out like it's an old western town makes me feel like I'm in an Western film.

Thank you Rick and Kathryn for providing my horses a great beautiful and safe place to stay! RTM is a great place to board with and have well kept stalls, barns, and riding arenas to offer. Having a covered arena to ride in on these hot summer days is a lifesaver!

This is an excellent facility as far as a barn is concerned. 3 barns, wash bays, turn outs, indoor/outdoor arenas, roping chutes, etc. Everything you could ask for. Except for one major issue. Keep reading. I have only been here since mid December and the turn over in help is out of control. By my count nine personnel have come and gone. All good hands willing and eager. Problem is the OWNERs, as you can see by the reviews. I have seen some drama at barns, but this place could win a Pulitzer for the script. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!! They are demeaning to their employees & trainers. Public displays of berating employees in front of clients. Loss of tempers. Doesn't matter who is in earshot at all. Clients, parents, children, dogs. Complete loss of control. They profess this family environment, well I never saw it. Except when board was due. What a joke. When I told people where I boarded they spoke from their own experience of their encounters with the "As the barn door swings" location. and found accommodations elsewhere. The owner tried dragging me into the three ring lunatic asylum just this past weekend (April 27 2019) and needless to say I loaded up and drug up out of there the very next day. Adios locos!!! Of course there will be a rebuttal from them of "disregard this review". WHATEVER! In all my years of working for and around barns, this place gets the BLUE RIBBON for the worst management I have ever seen. As far as I'm concerned the only way to fix this place is with a For Sale sign.

I boarded my horses at RTM Ranch for few weeks. My horses are fed properly both morning and evening. The barn was always clean and neat whenever I visited. Very satisfied!

Started boarding my horses here recently from a friends recommendation. I am very careful where I choose to board my horses at, and RTM Ranch is by far the best place I could ever ask for. I feel safe boarding my horses here as the owners are supervising their workers thoroughly and I know my horses are being cared for even without my presence there.

Been boarding my horses for nearly a year, and I can say RTM Ranch is fantastic!! I have never had a problem with the owners here, and the owners take care of everything really, really well. They do a very good job!

I have boarded at RTM Ranch for 10 years. This facility is the most beautiful horse boarding facility in Fort Worth Dallas Area. It is really a great atmosphere, they feed on time, my horses are well taken care of. I do not have to worry about my horse. The workers are very thorough and the place is kept very clean. They feed excellent hay and on time. I have known the owners Rick and Kathryn a long time and they are great people. They are helpful in every way they can. I love this place! I have tried other places and there is not a better place to board. If you want to board at a special place this is it.

I boarded my horse at RTM ranch for 5 weeks and at first I was impressed with the grounds, arenas and stalls. After being there for 1 week it all changed and during the following 5 weeks the owners fired 6 employees. Now they have only 1 employee doing all work for the property that has over 45 horses. The owners communicated to me a family friendly environment, however, they were very aggressive in their behavior towards employees and treated their employees very poorly. Do not be fooled by the property, this is not a place for you to board your horse. Lastly, don't believe the positive reviews they are posted by the owner.

We have been at RTM for 5 years & we love it! Kathryn & Rick are lovely people who take pride in their ranch & keep it clean! They are very responsive to our needs & take care of things quickly! The workers keep up with cleaning the paddocks and the common areas as well as feeding appropriately. Our horse requires special feed and supplements along with his hay, which they handle well. Not only are we happy but our horse is very happy & that is the point of it all. He loves turn out & his buddies!!! Well done!

5 star facility! Beautiful place out in the country, excellent care of my horses. Clean, Nice owners, responsible ranch hands that take care of my horses. I have 2 horses. I really love boarding here. Great place to board.

Have a friend that boards here. Came to the facility with her to check it out because my husband and I will be out of the U.S. for 3 months. Not impressed. Outdoor arena looks as though its never dragged "didnt look in the indoor one," dust all over the walls in the barns, spider webs galore, supplied tack rooms have no climate control, old hay all over the ground in stalls. If you cant maintain your facility how can I trust you to maintain my horse?

Have fun at this place... Looking for a new boarding facility for my daughters horse... Too much drama from the owners and evertime we come I see new workers which tells me something is wrong...

I'am a boarder at RTM Ranch have been for a couple of years. I think the staff takes wonderful care of my horses and are always very friendly and happy to help with anything i ask. The property is beautiful with 3 barns and well kept. My horses always seem to be healthy and happy when we get there! Both the indoor and outdoor arenas provide a great safe place to ride. My kids also really enjoy coming out and spending time playing on the playground provided on property and love spending time with the all the beautiful horses. The owners are very nice and treat you like family! We have no complaints.

RTM RANCH HAS SO MANY AMENITIES TO OFFER. THIS IS AN AWESOME PLACE OUT IN THE COUNTRY WITH ROLLING HILLS. I COME & GO WITH SO MUCH FREEDOM TO VISIT MY HORSES WITHOUT BEING QUESTIONED ABOUT ANYTHING. THEY GIVE EXCELLENT CARE OF MY HORSES WITH TOP QUALITY HAY & GRAIN. THE OWNERS DEFINITELY LOVE THE HORSES. ITS NOT ALL ABOUT BUSINESS, ITS ABOUT BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS AND YOU ARE CONSIDERED FAMILY. THE PLACE IS ALWAYS CLEAN. THEY HAVE RESPONSIBLE RANCH HANDS THAT TAKE CARE OF MY HORSES. I REALLY LOVE TO BOARD THEM HERE - GREAT PLACE!!! THEY ALSO HAVE A 40 ACRE TRAILS, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG BOARDING YOUR HORSE HERE.

RTM is a great place to board your horse. They are very caring and they make you feel like part of the RTM family! We love RTM Stables, we have been at several other stables and they just cannot compare to what RTM has to offer.

RTM RANCH is the Best Horse Boarding ranch in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I give it 5 stars! They take great care of my horse. I never have to worry. The facility is clean and groomed. They have nice and reliable workers, and the owners are very helpful and good people. I am complealy happy boarding and training my horse at RTM Ranch.

RTM Ranch is a beautiful boarding facility. It has 3 barns, 64 stalls, 25 acres with lot's of turn out pastures, 40 acres trails, they take excellent care of your horses. Gorgeous, place lots of trees, Fully covered indoor arena and round pen, outdoor arena and round pen, restrooms, picnic tables, awesome place!
