I’ve never been so eager to leave a 5-star review. I’ve owned animals my entire life, and along the way, had experiences with many, many veterinary practices. The Animal Hospital at Reems Creek is by far the most competent, the most professional, and the most compassionate veterinary practice I’ve ever encountered. I’m fairly sure our dog and cat feel the same way, as they actually go inside eagerly, without trembling… a first for any of my pets. Dr. Hammonds and Dr Nehlig have gone well above and beyond the typical vet care. They have called us on their days off, spent time answering our questions patiently and in ways we could understand, and most importantly, with so much compassion it’s brought tears to my eyes. The staff is equally helpful and kind. They consistently go out of their way to be helpful and they act lovingly towards our pets. We couldn’t ask for more, and I am so thankful that our friends recommended The Animal Hospital at Reems Creek. If you love your pets, you owe it to them and to yourself to check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

Great Dr., Surgeon and sweet assistants who love animals.

Had dogs claws clipped and tech cut to close and he bled all over the car. Called office and tech said to put some corn starch on them. So we dipped in and held pressure for about 15 minutes before coagulated. Tech never followed up to see how he was.

Putting their customers and employees at risk. My daughter got a call that the vet here has covid but they are still open and seeing customers and their pets. Very unprofessional and putting a lot of people at risk, whether they're vaccinated or not. When an employee has been exposed to covid you need to SHUT DOWN. I will be reporting them

Moved out of the area after Dr. Hammonds took great care of our 2 dogs for 7-8 years. Before we got established with a new vet, something happened with one of our dogs, and we needed someone we could trust. He helped us figure out what was up with our dog, remotely. And when that episode ended, he said he'd be happy to help if we found ourselves in a spot again. 5 years later, we were in a spot. One of our dogs has some life-threatening signs and symptoms, and we got very different opinions from 2 vets where we are. I sent Dr. H a detailed medical and symptom history for the past 2 weeks that we've been struggling with the health crisis, and some X-ray scans. Within a few hours, he called. Yes. Really. Plus, it was 100% clear he had read every word of all the info I sent. And he had reviewed the X-rays. He confidently "broke the tie" between the two vets we had already gotten input from, and offered his considered and expert recommendations for how to go forward. What is said on their website is true -- he and the whole staff are totally dedicated to your pet and you. They care enormously. Plus, they are really good clinically. I don't know how you can possibly get better than that.

Great people who care about your pets. When you have appointment, they get in and out in timely fashion. Very professional.

Very professional and friendly staff and a pleasant experience, no question about that. A routine exam and shots for a cat was almost $400, this is almost 3 times what other clinics charge, this was a little disappointing.

This is an excellent vet hospital! Dr. Hammonds and Dr. Nehlig are personable and intelligent, the technical staff really know their way around pets, and the receptionists genuinely love dogs, cats, and their people. The hospital has digital as well as dental radiography, surgical laser, and the ability to run many blood panels in-house. I don't think you could go wrong choosing The Animal Hospital at Reems Creek to care for your furry family members.

Wonderful experience with the friendly staff and Dr Hammond at Animal Hospital at Reems Creek. My extremely backward Sumo Wrestler Shih Tzu, Cosmo wasn't his horribly backward ultra -scared self. My sweet 'I love everyone' Baylie was just happy to be there...she rarely meets a stranger! So glad to be able to go inside WITH my pups for their appt!

I have always had a good experience at Reems Creek. I have seen different vets and all the techs are great and so friendly. However, recently I had to make an in person visit. Due to Covid they had extra precautions. A tech came and met me at the car and brought me in. And took my credit card from the treatment room. Because their front desk staff refuses to wear masks. I have no respect for that. I understand they probably can't fire these staff members but I think it degrades the business. Anti-maskers get no sympathy from me. Wish Reems Creek didn't have these unfortunate staff members. ***I am adding to this review after I received the response. The day I came in there were 2 receptionists at the front. Neither one was wearing a mask when I arrived, or when I left. The vet tech who helped me check out and took my credit card said quote: " we are taking payments from the treatment room, especially because unfortunately the employee at the front desk refuses to wear a mask." Perhaps the day I was there was an anomaly, but I am stating what experienced, saw and heard. Again, I have always been treated very well there but I was shocked at seeing 2 maskless employees behind the desk upon arrival and departure.

The Doctors and staff at Reems Creek have taken excellent care of all my pets over the years.

I've been taking my little Jack russell mix here for about three years. They are always friendly, can get me in fairly quickly if needed and treat squirrelly with care and kindness. I don't have any complaints!

The staff is very caring. They take very exceptional care of several dogs & a cat in our household. Today I had a 16yr old extended family dog in the last stages of life. The whole staff was very careing & compassionate through the tough but necessary choices to be made today. They made it as painless as possible for me but most of all our Nikki. She crossed that bridge in comfort & surrounded by loving understand people. Thank you to the whole staff from the whole Morgan pack....two & four legged.

We recently had our dog fixed and was quoted a price for our dog to be fixed and rabies vaccine. We arrive to pick our dog and without consent EXTRA services were performed. Poor professionalism. Update: since this was posted, the office called and apologized and credited for the mishap.
