Very caring veterinarian and assistants. We've been using them for a few years now. Very convenient. When our sweet lab Jackson was sick last year (cancer) Dr. Nicole Kuhlmann and her assistant did everything they could to comfort Jackson and myself before she had to put him down. If you're looking for a caring, compassionate vet, Dr. Kuhlmann is the vet for you. Highly recommend! ❤

They are wonderful with my dog, Dyna, who had a horrible experience with a vets office and is now terrified to even be in their parking lot. When Dr. Kuhlman and Linda come over they are kind, patient, and spend whatever time Dyna needs to feel comfortable. I am so grateful that we have them as our vet and I couldn’t give them enough praise if I spent an hour on this review. If you have a fur baby who needs that extra attention or is just scared to go to the vet, please give them a call. They are just amazing.

I was born into a house of cats and have never had less than 2 at any one time. I'm sharing this personal tidbit because I've had a lot of vet experiences and absolutely none of them come close to the quality that Dr. Kuhlmann and Linda provide. I've taken 3 of my 5 cats to see her thus far and every experience has been phenomenal. She truly cares and she takes the time to consider all aspects of my cat - behavioral, internal med, external, etc - in order to ensure the right kind of balance in quality of life. Financial ability comes into play as well. She truly considers every angle to find what works best and presents a myriad of options. The science of animal medicine is her true passion and she's a lifelong learner and researcher. You want that in your animal's doctor. You want someone who never stops wanting to be better. The communication is fantastic as well. Linda does a great job multitasking and it's a seamless operation with better support and care than a traditional brick and mortar building. I was initially a bit concerned about the compromise of having a mobile vet but when my cat had to have his spleen removed, it was no issue at all. Xrays and ultrasound were at the ER clinic downtown with Dr. Kuhlmann right there with you and then surgery at the clinic as well. Blood results come back in a day as well. So in short, there's no compromise for quality care just because it's a mobile vet service. In fact, this is the best care my pets have received and at an affordable cost which I can't say for several practices in S. Huntsville. I'm grateful for Linda & Dr. Kuhlmann.

Dr. Kuhlmann’s expertise, her professionalism and her compassion at difficult times, make her an exceptionally caring veterinarian and human. Linda is great, responsive and thoughtful. She has helped two of our senior cats cross the rainbow bridge, first our Simon a few years back, he had severe asthma, and was terrified of the car rides, so taking him to a vet was out of the question. At that time we reached out to Doorstep DVM. This time, our boy Mr. Whiskers, who was my daughter’s “son” had fought a long battle with thyroid issues, IBD, kidney disease, and he remained with us for 16 long years...again, Dr. Kuhlmann came to our home, to help us help him. Her level of empathy and ability to be composed during emotional times- incredible. Strongly recommend her for end of life care (and any other care) for your fur babies.

Dr. Kuhlmann, is great! Her mobile service is convenient and affordable. The one-on-one service you get is far superior to a crowded vet's office. Highly recommend.

Dr. Kuhlmann is amazing. She is great with animals of all sizes and attitudes. I have a large mastiff/bully mix who needs special attention because of his reactivity, and she never pushed his limits; she went at his speed. Having her come to your house is also amazing. She is highly recommended!

October 23rd, 2019 Dr. Kuhlmann was absolutely wonderful with our temperamental Great Dane and full of energy Border Collie. Our Dane has a bad leg and I watched in complete awe when a scale was brought out into our driveway so he could be weighed. I'm disabled and taking either dog to the Vet for their yearly exams and shots is exhausting. Having Dr. Kuhlmann come to our home was so much easier and having both dogs done one after the other was like a dream come true. Emmett and Grendel were relaxed, and not concerned about other dogs barking or the busyness of a Clinic. They got petted, loads of one on one attention and weren't stressed being in their own front yard. This was by far the easiest physical exam either has ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Kuhlmann as a person and very practical for anyone who has multiple pets who needs their yearly exams and shots.

My 11 year old Boxer can’t get in the car anymore. It was so convenient to have the vet come to my house. She was very prompt. Arrived five minutes early, actually. She gave him a complete exam and a pedicure right in my living room while my dog sat on his own bed. We were very happy with the professional service we received and the price was no more than if I had taken him to his previous veterinary clinic.

We have a 5 1/2 year old South African Mastiff that was starved and abused before he was taken in by a rescue, so he is understandably very leery when it comes to new people. Dr Kuhlmann was fantastic with Phoenix, and he seemed to be comfortable with her too! Hes normally very nervous in any situation that isn't inside our home, but Dr Kuhlmann definitely charmed him! She has also been a huge help with his chronic allergies, and all the other issues he has from his years of abuse. Dr. Khulmann is a wonderful veterinarian who has gone above and beyond to care for our sweet German Shepherd who has IMHA as well as severe eye problems. We almost lost him due to this disease, and without her care and expertise he would not have made it.
