Unlike some veterinarians, Dr. Morgan won’t upsell you on treatments or drugs. He’ll recommend what’s best for you and your pet, not what’s best for the clinic. He’s also very skilled at what he does, your pet will be in good hands.

After using the same vet practice for 27 years, I was nervous about finding someone new. Dr Morgan and Dr Hays are so so good. They walked with me through a terminal diagnosis and finally his death with grace. I cannot recommend them or their staff highly enough. It’s like we’ve been going there forever.

I love this place, my mixed breed was having a lot of skin and ear issues and it took years of different docs to find something that would help her but the first time I brought her here about a 4 months ago they knew exactly what to do and explained everything to me so well, she has been getting treatment for a few months and the difference is huge! I am more than happy with this vet and will never go anywhere else again unless I move.

I am very disappointed in my need to write this review , but I feel I really need to let others know of the complete disregard of professionalism by Dr. Hayes. Before I go into detail let me say that my experience with Dr. Morgan has always been great. I followed him to VA after seeing him at Creekside because I felt like he was the best vet. However, this week my schedule did not sync up with Dr. Morgan's so I decided to schedule with Hayes. Hayes was a complete unprofessional fresh 3 years out of vet school I Know It All Bigot. Hayes had zero interest in answering any of my concerns or questions with sincerity. When I first arrived with my 2 dogs, I was bombarded by the front desk check in with questions pertaining to my dogs shots and what I wanted to do. Traditionally this is all done with a vet tech in the exam room where a thorough discussion can be had prior to the exam. Once I was in the exam room the vet tech asked zero questions and immediately took the dogs to the back where the vet supposedly examined them. Hayes had zero interaction with me ( you know the pets owner) prior to coming back in the room with her immediate diagnosis (in her mind). After her immediate dive into what she believes the diagnosis to be I ask a few simple questions to get a complete understanding if all the bases are being covered in treating my dog. Hayes comes off as condescending and arrogant with a "how dare you question my 3 years experience" attitude. Dr. Morgan has always taken the time to be sincere and welcome any questions or ideas. Hayes had no interest. I felt the diagnosis given was a brush off without considering all possible options with no interest by Hayes in considering anything other than her "professional opinion". Also worth noting Hayes was very pushy in wanting to do a $250 suture that was completely unnecessary. This $250 estimate was given prior to me being able to see my pet again after being taken to the back and being able to determine if what she was saying made sense. When I asked if I could see my pet prior to deciding Hayes gave the most arrogant zero caring toned remark saying "You will but right now we are discussing options " If you want sincerity and good quality care do not see Hayes; make sure you schedule with Dr. Morgan. As for me I am not sure if I will return here. If I do it will certainly only be with Dr. Morgan; however the whole check in procedure and doing what is traditionally done with vet tech in exam room up front during check in and feeling rushed and given zero quality time in exam room with tech and vet has me apprehensive. I hope it was just a bad experience with a particular vet and not the policy of the Veterinary Associates of Murfreesboro.

My family has used this veterinary clinic for 20+ years but we will not be going back. We left our precious senior dog in their care for boarding while we went out of town for a few days and returned to her being crippled and unable to walk due to negligence by the staff. We thought she would be well taken care of by a veterinary staff who knew her medical history but instead they let her lay in a cage for a few days until she could no longer walk. She walked into the office and when we came to pick her up they carried her out because they did not care to give her the exercise she needed which accelerated her decline in health at the end of her life. We spent a week getting her able to walk again when we brought her home but she was never back to where she was before we boarded her there.

Let me start by saying that the doctors are top notch. However, the support staff is amongst the worst I have encountered in 30 years of customer service. My wife called in a prescription, and had a simple request. She asked that she be notified when the pharmacy was called. In a roundabout and rude manner, the male voice on the phone told her that the pharmacy would call her to tell her when to pick up the rx. Tuesday after Labor Day, my wife call the pharmacy to check on the order. It was never called in! When my wife called the vet's office she was growled at by a female voice. Guess what? The rx still HAD NOT BEEN called in. We travel 30 miles to this vet's office. Not anymore! Say goodbye to the money that 5 adult rescues would have brought you.

All of the staff are wonderful and go above and beyond to help my dogs. Each of the vets are great. You can't go wrong with either of them. I have very nervous dogs. Everyone helps make their experience the least scariest as possible.

I can't say enough about VA- they are always kind and compassionate and easy to talk to. I feel comfortable with the care given to my dogs and I never feel as though I'm being sold something I don't necessarily need (my old vet and the emergency vet did this often). Dr. Morgan always takes time to ensure that I understand what's going on with my pups and it's so awesome to see how he interacts with them- it's clear that he truly loves animals. Also, when I have an appointment, I don't have to wait to wait to be seen (cough cough VCA Creekside cough). Thanks for all you do for us and our floofs!

Really like this vet. He was attentive and did a thorough exam when our Scottie was having some hip issues. When there was no definitive diagnosis, he had several options for treatment and the first one he suggested ended up working!

The Vets & supporting staff at Veterinary Associates of Murfreesboro offer outstanding care to my dogs. They clearly explain what’s going on, options for care, & expectations for future outcome. From scheduling, pricing, efficiency in office, & results from general & emergency care I am most satisfied with VA. (Do note I visited several area vets before finding VA! Not all vets will offer care to all breeds or disclose this before arrival. VA is a rare gem.)

After coming to Dr Morgan, I will never go to another vet! Dr Morgan listened to every concern I had with my dog Rosie and took them seriously. Everyone at the clinic is always so nice and pleasant. Hands down the best vet clinic and staff. If you’re thinking about taking your baby here, do it. I always know my Rosie is in the best hands when I take her here.

Very impressed by the vets, Dr Morgan and Dr Hays. Recently took my new puppy to see Dr Hays and I was so grateful for the extra time she took to determine which, if any, puppy shots and boosters he still needed (it's a rehoming situation but I had previous paperwork). The previous vet that I had taken him to (because that vet was much closer) didn't do that and I would have been subjecting my 4 month old pup to extra vaccine boosters he didn't need. I would not hesitate to give these vets my highest recommendation.

My dog Oreo is 13 years old and has been to several local veterinarians and each one (one including a well-known emergency hospital ) told me that her inability to walk is from arthritis and spine issues and simply sent her home on pain killers. Yesterday was my first visit to this office and Dr. Morgan. she was treated with so much more care and insight than the other veterinarians previously. She received an injection of Adequan and was set up with a management plan including an nsaid. Dr. Morgan was truly concerned with Oreo‘s health and her age and left me feeling total trust in his care. I have found my new vet and will refer everyone I know to this office

Such nice people who didn't seem annoyed with any of my "common sense" questions. They broke everything down for me so I could choose the treatment we really needed and made it affordable.
