Dr.Maxwell is excellent! My dog Sadie was very afraid of our last veterinarian and he was so calm, patient, and loving and really gave her time to get used to him before he started examining her. Excellent care and attention to detail.

The place is so wonderful. They usually can get you in last minute if needed or within a few days. Every time I take my dog Stormy, they are very attentive and friendly. Stormy is very anxious due to past trauma and can come across very aggressive. They help manage the situation so everyone is the most comfortable. They have also taken COVID very seriously and make sure we are as safe as possible. I started going here when I first rescued Stormy and have continued to take her here even though I moved to Knoxville. I highly recommend them!

Doctor Maxwell and his assistant was AMAZING. Not only did I love their service my doggy did to! It’s a very affordable price and he treated my dog like she was his own! I’ll be back for anything and everything I’ll ever need for my dogs and I will recommend this place to ANYONE!! Thank you so much Doctor Maxwell and your assistant. You guys were amazing!

They're great. Diagnosed my dogs uti and found that she had thyroid problems I was completely unaware of. Gave her treats and love and explained medications and everything thoroughly. Fair pricing too.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! I brought my dog in due to her breathing shallow an only started it 2 days after she just had a litter of puppies, the vet said she had pneumonia an gave her a shot, she started getting her strength back just from one shot, the vet didn’t notify nor give me ANY information for the 4 puppies an sent my baby home with the one shot he had given her an said if we can come back with the rest he would give us the shots, the playments we’re only $222 I had tried to call an do payment plans cause I only had $111 that day an could pay it the next day an no call back . My baby died 2 days after an I can’t help but think if Blount county animal clinic actually had people who cared for your pets then just money hungry people then I believe my baby girl would still be here but I had to have her cremated due to not being able to do payment plans I just would like for everyone to think before they go to this vet because I to thought they were as good as they used to be but I will not be back an don’t want people who only care about money touching my pet .

My dog was fainting with a bad heart gave him A shot for hip pain died on my home he said his Heart sounded good before I leave he said he may have a heart murmur should not have giving The shot for hip pain

Doctor Walker was wonderful. Made a emotional experience easier, as I had to put my jazzy to sleep. They really do care.

Only had a quick visit about a week ago to get my recently adopted kitten vaccinated. But from what I can tell super friendly staff very attentive Vet Tech. Looking forward to future visits.

I wouldn’t take my boys anywhere else! They are always so professional and kind when I call with questions. They are amazing with my rescue, he has anxiety and suffers with seizures. When I found out my boy got heart worms, the Veterinarians and Vet techs were so sweet to my baby. I’d call like a nervous mother and they would give me updates without making me feel like a crazy person lol. I’ve brought over my mother and her dog and now I’ve gotten a coworker to bring her 7 month puppy to this clinic! She loved the atmosphere when I brought her with one day to get my dogs medication! With all that being said, yes, I recommend anyone to check this veterinary clinic out!

We take our 14 yr lab/beagle and our two 4 yr old Newfoundlands. They love doctor Maxwell and my daughter and I do as well. He takes time for your pet to warm up to him. He explains things to us with options for care.

I had been a client of this office for 25 years but Dr Hall retired and the care went downhill to the point where I called for an appointment and the phone rang for 3 minutes straight then picked up and hung up. I went to the office to let them know and was told basically oh well. So I picked up my dogs records and am looking for a new vet. If they don't care about their clients I don't want them touching my dog.

I've taken my pets here for about 20 years, if not longer. And although I like the 1 vet that I met, whose name I keep forgetting, it says, MAX something on his name tag, it has lost its personal touch with the huge amount of folks they pack into the place in a day. There are 3 parking spaces and at the very least, about 6 cars parked everywhere there. The wait is terrible now and nobody is nice any more...even the folks that use to be. It's always rush, rush, rush. Since Dr. Hall no longer works there, the place has lost all of it's greatness. I'm looking for other options.

Dr. Patricia Walker is the best vet I've ever had! She's so knowledgable, clear, and understanding. She doesn't leave a single detail out and has been the only vet to help my dog as much as she has. I can't recommend her enough!

An affordable veterinary care. I used to gave 5 stars. But after the last visit I was very disappointed. Had 2 appointments for my dogs. One was at 7:30 am for teeth cleaning and 8:00am for bloodwork. I arrived at 7:35am. Around 7:45am, a gentleman with German Shepherd pulled in, he was there less than a minute, a nurse stepped out and started working with him. I was here before him, and she saw me and my vehicle through the glass when she was cleaning the desk. Anyway...she chit chat with that gentleman and ignored the fact that I'd been here before him. I finally sent another text at 7:59 to complain, still no response. Long short story....the nurse named Jessie came to my window, said that the reason she help the German Shepherd first, because the dog has anxiety and my dog's appointments was for bloodwork has to wait for the doctor. I told her... I have 2 appointments. First appointment was to drop off Piper for teeth cleaning and Second appointment was for Foxy bloodwork. Regardless what the German Shepherd's problems, out of respect she should help clients by the appointment time, or at least let me know that she needs to take care the other dog. I'll be ok. I told her that I wasn't happy and offended. I guess because of my skin color". Glad the Vet was kind.

I'd recommend this place to anyone. The ladies there were nice, the doctor treated my dog with care and respect and decently priced. They gave her a treat after each shot for her checkup. My dog loved them to, even after they were done she rolled over to let them love on her and pet her. I have no complaints either

I have been with Dr. Mark Hall and his staff for 30 years...Top notch care provided to my animals...Dr. Maxwell has joined them and he is absolutely fabulous...Knowledge is caring and caring is Knowledge...

Love the staff. Still asking humans to wear masks and you wait in your car til a room is ready or they come get your animal.

The staff was very friendly as well as the doctor and was honestly concerned about my dog and they took care of her needs. I will continue to use blount veterinary clinic for my dog.
