UT Veterinary is a top notch facility with the absolute best doctors and technicians. They took excellent care of my sweet baby, a 65lb King Shepherd who required a surgery for a herniated disc. We had the pleasure of having Dr. Simon, student Tolly, and the neurological team working with her. They truly cared about our furbaby and went above and beyond to make her procedure and recovery go as smooth as they possibly could. I can't say good enough things about this place. It's not a place I WANT to have to take my babies but I promise you I will go there again in a heartbeat if we require emergency full hospital veterinary care. I completely recommend them and I'm my sweet Stella would too ????

I have several pets and have had to seek help from almost every department here. I cannot say enough good things about this facility and their team. Everyone is so kind and they all genuinely want to help. Even the people who answer the phone are extremely helpful! You can tell the faculty cares and they truly love all the animals that visit. In my history of coming here, I have received great news all the way to extremely sad news. They are always so supportive and empathetic, and extremely respectful to the owners regardless of the situation. It's just a really great place!

We had to rush our baby Boston to the hospital yesterday after she had became lethargic, and having muscle tremors. The staff was right on top of trying to figure out what happened to our fur baby. The vet talked and explained everythin to us with compassion, and after a mental breakdown we felt it was best to leave her(mind you for the first time ever). The staff was so kind and reassured us that she was going to be fine, that no news was good news, after a long unrestful sleep we were back at the hospital at 7:30am to get our fur baby. After we spoke with the Veterinarian about Cookies night and all the things to watch for when she is home we were happy to see Cookie back to her bubbly self. Absolutely the most professional, kindandcaring people we would or could have ask to take care of her. Thank you all so much.

We were in Pigeon Forge on Vacation when our Senior Dog Skyler got very sick. We did not know where to go so went to emergency clinic first and he was transfered to UT where the ICU staff took great care of him. They were very good about calling with updates and he seemed to be better when he was dismissed, not 100% but could tell he was feeling better. They were very thorough when going over his condition and treatment at home upon dismissal. Took plenty of time, answered my questions and made sure I understood everything. I had paid the estimate upfront. The total bill was substantially less. They refunded it back on my credit card right then. The refund hit immediately. We Vacation in the area every year if we ever have any issues and need treatment for any of our dogs this will be first place we go. Thank you to the entire staff from the receptionist, Techs, nurses And Dr.s.

We took our hedgehog to the emergency services and we had a great clinical experience. Everyone that we interacted with (on the phone, front desk, and the vet team) was incredibly nice and helpful. Even though our little guy didn’t make it, we were very grateful for the care he received while there and it was very sweet that they made us clay paw prints to keep. I definitely recommend them.

Our English Bulldog needed emergency surgery for IVDD. They took great care of her and at 3 weeks post surgery, she is recovering well.

While the vets were great and ready to answer any and all questions, and my dog got excellent care, we were put off by the extremely long wait times, just one example being when they came out and told us they were gonna run a quick test on our dog but the vet had to first run and quickly take care of an equine situation but it wouldn't take but a few minutes. An hour later we finally went to the desk, they checked on it and within minutes they came to get our dog for the test. We had already been there all day and were under a lot of stress already due to the emergency nature of our visit. The vets and techs are absolutely wonderful but there needs to be a little more respect for clients' time. I would've gave 3 stars if not for the nice vets/techs.

We took our Yorkshire Boar, Cletus in to have some tests at the UTCVM and the service and professionalism was exceptional. I would like to thank Dr. Lew Strickland, Dr. Tulio Prado, Dr. Pablo Jarrin, and Marcella for getting us answers and taking care of our main man Cletus. We most definitely will be using these folks in the future.

Rushed my puppy to the veterinary hospital. They were very compassionate, and acted very quickly. But unfortunately my fur baby died

They were kind and knowledgeable. Even though it's a unusual condition, the vet recognized it quickly (though was careful to tell us what else it could be, and what tests were required for a definitive diagnosis.) She worked with us to create a plan that both takes care of my beloved cat and that I can afford. The doctor also didn't blink an eye at a three-way conference call with the cat's other owners and lots of questions. I am a huge fan!

My dog, Hunter, needed an emergency double knee surgery. We wouldn’t have been able to get him the surgery for a long time if it wasn’t for UT. They let us bring him in the same day and have given him even better care then we could have imagined. We have been given daily updates on how he is doing and it is obvious that they genuinely care about him. The staff has been so amazing that he gets excited when we pull into the parking lot! I’d definitely recommend taking ur pet to UT Vet Hospital if you want the most amazing people to take care of them.

Great care but BEWARE OF THE COST. IT WAS ALMOST $800.00 FOR JUST THE ONE VISIT. HALF THE FEE TO BE PAID UPFRONT. AND ALL OF THE FEE MUST BE PAID BEFORE YOU LEAVE !
