My fiance and I have been boarding our cat here sporadically for probably a year now. The staff is always so nice, the prices are great, and the whole process is smooth. We love them!

I boarded my 16 year old dog here for a couple nights and he actually looked younger and happier when we picked him up! They did a great job with his bath. He was also unusually happy when we dropped him off there. He's usually nervous and shy so they must be really sweet to him for him to actually be happy to be dropped off. Thanks Dream Katcher!

Last week was our first occasion to use the services of DreamKatcher Lodge (DKL). Our beloved 7 year old Weimaraner female dog Brighton spent a wonderful week at DKL! I found the staff attentive, responsible and polite. DKL is well maintained, very clean and secure. The price was very reasonable. DKL took a wonderful care of Brighton. They provided personalized attention to our sweet Brighton and, at our request, sent us daily updates while we were on vacation. Brighton enjoyed the facility, the food and the staff. When we picked her up, she looked great! I highly recommend DreamKatcher and will be happy to use their services next time we are on a vacation.

There isn't a more luxury boarding facility anywhere in town. This is a low stress environment with unbeatable cleanliness standards. I used to work here and I can vouch for their safety and cleanliness standards.

A dear friends cat contracted FIP here and passed away, which is a super hard virus to catch but it’s DEADLY! Do not take your animals here. Although the workers and owner or vet is lovely it’s not sanitary or safe to take your furry loved ones! Not trying to put down a business but rather save other animals from this deadly virus!

Horrible place. They claim "luxury", but it is dirty and the staff are not trained at all. My dog got sick after 3 days of stay. We paid extra for playing time, but they said our 15 lb dog was aggressive and wasn't able to get her out from her room. They called us several times during our vacation and ruined it. STAY AWAY.

Wow! We took our fur-babies for orientation today. Having an old girl, we were concerned about how she would do. The staff were so kind and really understood how anxious parents are. We appreciate how receptive and welcoming the staff were, while they reassured us about our concerns. We look forward to boarding our babies in the near future. Dream Katcher Lodge is a top-notch facility!

I really like that in certain suites I can login and see my dogs while I'm gone. The people seem to be very conscientious of the care of the animals and called me everytime my elderly dog got diarrhea. I only gave them 4 starts instead of 5 because my large dog isn't allowed to have baths there any longer according to them since he broke free of the drying cage. To me they specialize in dogs and should be able to bath my dog whether large or small. They are on the higher price end of facilities and I also felt like more walks or time out of the space should be included for that rate---however, it's not insane unreasonable and I'd probably board my dogs there again if it came down to it.

The dogs are kept in pens or small rooms, not cages. They all have beds, clean water, and a TV. They offer any personal requests for the dog's stay, such as a drape over the gate for dogs who can't stay calm seeing the other dogs, if that's an issue. They thoroughly clean everywhere every morning. They are very serious about making sure each dog has their dietary needs followed accurately. They have a courtyard outside for the dogs to spend time in, with outdoor pens as well. The cat room is more like a summer camp cabin with each cat's place setup kind of like a bunk bed they can climb on. They have a couple of deluxe areas for extremely spoiled cats, if that's what your cat needs. They even have an option for a camera service that lets the owner check on their pet both in the cat or dog areas. I know they also occasionally have some exotics kept in the office away from the other animals. If you're looking for a place to have your pets stay for a few days, then this is definitely the best their is in East Tennessee aside from having a personal dog sitter. However, a dog sitter won't have the Veterinary experience of the staff at Dream Katcher.

Dishonest people. Never again! My dog came home with a rough, dry, scabby nose and scabs on his jowls and they never called once or even mentioned it when I came to get him! If my dog is so unhappy he's hurting himself, tell me about it!

We have boarded our dogs at Dream Katcher Lodge many times and the experience has always been excellent. Whenever one of the dogs has shown any signs of trouble Dr. Bass has called right away and kept us informed about treatment and status. We view our dogs like children and this has been the only place we could leave them without worrying.

Whenever we make travel plans, our first concern is where to board our two dogs. After some research, we discovered Dream Katcher Lodge and have trusted our dogs to them for two 10-day periods. Although we have to travel from NC to Tennessee, Dream Katcher is worth the extra effort because of the excellent care. They merit our highest rating.

Our first experience at Dream Katcher was this weekend. I brought her in on Saturday for orientation. Everyone assured me she did great. Upon leaving I asked if she had been taken out, they said yes. I asked if she peed they said yes. When May and I left as soon as we stepped out the front door a few steps she peed. All over the concrete, she has never done that. It was a long pee and it was apparent she had not peed since I left her. They may have took her out and assumed she did, clearly she had not. That slightly aggravated me being since I clearly asked if she had peed and was told yes. Sunday, I dropped May off. I voiced my concern about the issue the day before. I was worried with the turf that she would hold it. I explained the previous day, I also told them I was concerned that turf would confuse her and she wouldn't use the bathroom on it. They assured me they would pay attention. I went on and dropped her off for a short stay. Tuesday, we pick up. A nice lady came out and said how good May was with her commands and she is so sweet. The lady I spoke with on Sunday about the potty issue brought her out to me, said she did great. She also confirmed to me that she had been using the bathroom and did great. We left, got on the interstate and before I reached cedar bluff she popped in the car! She has never done that. I am very upset and can't believe this is our first experience at a luxury accommodation. For the price of extra walks, and an upgraded room I would had hoped she was being watched closely. I would like to speak to someone on this issue as it is clearly unacceptable. We traveled an hour to bring her that and the fact that we had two major problems in a two night stay is mind boggling. May is left often, she is use to being boarded due to us traveling. She doesn't mind it, she has been staying often since she was only a few months old. I have never left her and picked her up and ran into an issue. Paying for a luxury stay and not being closely watched is unacceptable.

Dream Katcher Lodge is a special place where our "kids" stay in comfort with a loving staff! We are new to Knoxville and never boarded our pets before coming here. We tried the vet where they were kept in a small concrete stall. Not like that at Dream Katcher Lodge! If you're concerned about the price, it cost $4.00 more to be at Dream Katcher Lodge for two dogs then it would have at the vet and at Dream Katcher Lodge all they do is take care of your babies! We are believers in Dream Katcher Lodge! They will take care of your babies like you do, or maybe better!

Took our 1 year old dog Teddie recently. She stayed for an entire week. It was her first long trip away from home, and she seemed to do very well. Facility is very nice and clean and staff are very nice.

Because I am a stay-at-home, my senior GSD's don't like to be separated from me. All their lives, boarding them has been traumatic, for everyone. But they bounce back almost immediately after a stay at Dream Katcher. The people there really care, and they go above and beyond to make it as painless for my dogs as possible. My shy dog even comes out of her crate to cuddle one of the caregivers! The facility is up-to-date and well-maintained. And although I thought their requirement for canine influenza vaccines overly cautious, we're having an outbreak of it around here now. I'm so glad to know that, thanks to Dream Katcher, my dogs are already protected. I love this place!

Up until recently, we have either taken our two Boyz on vacation with us or hired a pet sitter to watch them while gone. However, for the first time in their lives, eight and nine years old, we needed to board them. Boy, were we nervous in leaving them for several days at a strange place with strange folks. We checked on them while away and they settled in after a couple days. This was such a relief to us and helped us to enjoy or time away as well. The day we picked them up from Dream Katcher, they seemed relaxed and not in such a hurry to leave. They did not have a kennel smell and were both happy and healthy. We took them back for a follow up Influenza Vaccination and we knew if they were going to show any signs of dread or panic, they would then. They were happy to see everyone when they walked in and were at ease. So we knew they were happy fellas and felt loved during their stay. We will absolutely use Dream Katcher Lodge again when the need arises. It is a relief to know there is a wonderful, loving place to leave our precious Boyz and KNOW they will be taken care of treated with love.
