We had to take our dog to the vet because he was injured and they had never seen him before. They got him in same day and were able to get us scheduled for x-rays and give him the meds he needed to make him feel better. Our GSD can be real weird with people and he loved everyone there! We will be using them as our vet from now on!

We are new to the area and have been to this office twice with 2 dogs. The first time the vet (Neff) cut one of the toenails too short. I heard my dog (pit mix) yelp and her say something to the fact that she was being dramatic. I had no idea how bad it was, but she bled until almost nighttime. It wasn’t necessarily the fact that her mail was cut too short, it was the reaction by the vet that bothered me. For my other dog, we had the same vet again and she really didn’t introduce her self very well to the dog and came right up to him and put her arms around him. He didn’t like that. I normally don’t add reviews, but I’ve not had the greatest experiences here and will look for a vet that is a little more personable. I understand that the other bets at this office get excellent reviews.

What an awesome group. They took our dog in super quick and I received several phone calls from the Dr. to let me know how things were going. From the first call, to dropping our dog off, to finally picking her up, every single person was nice to us and concerned about our dog. I would definitely recommend Wayside for your pet needs.

Would leave 5 stars but they did not remove all the tumors that my dog was supposed to have removed. They said it wasn’t indicated that he was supposed to have the ones in his mouth removed when I clearly circled the left side of his mouth on the dog diagram they had. It was even stated by my vet, that I take him to for his examinations, for them to be removed. So now, I’m going to have pay for him to be put under anesthesia AGAIN to have those removed. Just make sure they know exactly what they are supposed to do since they clearly didn’t with me. Otherwise they were great.

The best Veterinary Clinic we have ever been to in 50+ years of owning dogs!! We just moved to Jasper, GA from the Tampa area and made new patient appointments for our 2 10 year-old rescue furbabies. In the meantime our daughter drove 13 hours to visit us for the holidays and her little baby Shih Tzu Rory was having a problem with one of her eyes, we brought her in without an appointment and she was seen within 10 minutes and given amazing care even though we had never been there before! I can see why everyone I've talked to raves about this place, it's the best Vet care office we've EVER been to period!!!

Wayside has always taken care of our rescue, Jack Russell mix, Patches. She recently was badly injured. The staff and doctor's at Wayside have taken excellent care of her. They genuinely care for her and have used their medical expertise to get her back on the road to recovery.

This was our first vet trip for our longhair American domestic cat, Poundcake, and she was instantly calm in the waiting room. She was seen and taken care of by very competent folks, and they let me take a look at the x-rays when I came in to discuss some tummy trouble she was having. We were in and out quickly but it never felt rushed, and they were kind enough to fit her in same day with just a few hours notice. We will be back!

My sons dog was shot and they live in Chatsworth Ga. The Dr. Lyn and his staff did not heaitate to see her. They took very good care of her and she doing very well. My son stated that he had never met a veterinarian as nice and friendly as Dr. Lyn. And that he even though it was out of his way he would bring his dogs back there. Thank you Dr Lyn and Staff

I have been searching 3 years for the perfect vet for my fur babies and have found this with Dr. Lewis at Wayside Animal Hospital. I was overwhelmed with gratitude with how accomodating they were in seeing my Molly on a day that had no scheduled openings. Even more impressive was the fact that they not only treated Molly for her current symptoms, but dove deeper to find out why she was having this recurring problem. That is indicitive of a doctor who truly cares for his patients. My search is now over. Dr. Lewis and his equally outstanding staff have my total confidence for the well being of my fur babies.

All the staff and vets are always concerned about my pets. Very professional and will would with you for solutions to keep your pet well. Would not take my pet family any where else. Love them!

We have had nothing but great experiences at Wayside. From the front office staff to the techs and the doctors — they are all fantastic. They’re always friendly and knowledgeable. I was so worried about finding a new vet when we moved. So glad we found Wayside. ????????

My little old Shihtzu Griff had a case of glaucoma and needed to have his eye removed. I was nervous about putting him through a surgery in his little old state, but Wayside got to work and Griff is good as new again! Google results had the price range as $750-1500 and Wayside charged 750, which was nice. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient on each visit (consultation/bloodwork/meds, follow up to see if surgery still needed, surgery). Griff may be old, but he’s a defensive firecracker when he enters a vet clinic and the vets/techs all handled his outbursts really well and answered all the questions I had. I was prepared for the worst on the day of his surgery, but he emerged with an eye area that looked shockingly unharmed and he was immediately more active when we got back home than he’d been in months (glaucoma had him in a funk and he was full of some good drugs). It’s been a couple weeks now and Griff is comfortable and cuddling and back to taking his famous 20hr catnaps again, thanks to Wayside.

Dr. Lyn Lewis & Dr. Parker & Staff are TOP NOTCH! They care deeply about your pet and you. They know what they're doing, they do it well and with major compassion. We drive to Jasper, passing many vet practices to see Dr. Lewis because he has a warm, loving, humorous personality backed up with the skills & experience needed for premium care. Dr. Parker does the surgeries & is a phenomenal surgeon. We wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else. The vet techs & front office staff are efficient, patient & kind. What more can I say without gushing? You & your dog[s] & cat[s] can't do better. Susan

Haved loved all my experiences with Wayside. So much that I drive outside my own town. The vets really listen to my concerns about raising healthy kittens and address each one. They also think my kittens are beautiful

I have taken my fur baby to Wayside for check-ups, vaccines and even dental cleanings. Dr Lewis and his staff have always been caring, empathetic and helpful. Last week Rusty was feeling bad and Wayside was able to work him in the next morning. After leaving him for a few hours Dr Lewis called me personally to go over the exam results. I cannot express the appreciation that I have for Dr Lewis and all of the Wayside family. They are consistently wonderful to Rusty and myself. I would definitely recommend them!

We were referred to Wayside Animal Hospital by a close friend. Experienced staff who work together as one group, providing a nice experience. Dr. Esco was very professional; listening, suggesting changes and providing an expected outcome and follow up information for my dog ???? Noah. Incredible, in that after his first injection (a suggested change by Dr. Esco) Noah is feeling relief after being down for a day/half. Thank you to Dr. Esco, her assistant, and their entire office.
