They are amazing and friendly, know our dogs by name when we walk in. Spayed/neutered both dogs with zero complications. No question would recommend them to anybody that asked.

Amazing experience! The vet was very honest and was able to find out what was going on with my cat. Everyone was nice and welcoming! Highly recommended!

My animals have received excellent care at Whitmire Animal Hospital and I am completely comfortable with any of the doctors on staff. I appreciate that they provide an array of treatment options from conservative measures to the latest and greatest treatments. Their pharmacy prices are less expensive too. I have never felt pressured or that they were upselling me a product or service. As a multi pet owner, cost is a factor. Their staff members are friendly and compassionate too, especially Anna. She is so sweet! I highly recommend this practice.

Took our puppy for first visit, they were very nice the way the entire staff treated him. Entire staff from check in to the tech, and Dr.Carpenter was very nice and explained medicine and vaccines very well. Will definitely continue to use!! Thanks for the Experience!

Friendly and helpful with my new little puppy.

Quick, friendly, not outrageously expensive like some other places I've been, and I felt like they really cared for my pet as if he were their own. I didn't feel like they tried to "upsell" me on things he didn't need. They were also the only place I've found yet that was able to trim his nails. This alone makes them the best vet in the world in my eyes. Kudos to the team for a job well done!

Not a bad vet, but they lost all my animals documentation a month after my dogs surgury...we had been going there for 5 years. We switched vets, as I found this unsettling they were quite dismissive 9f the entire thing.

I cannot say enough about this whole practice. We have been taking our sweet Madison here for chronic conditions since they opened and now our Micah. Unfortunately this past Friday, we had to put our 15 year old fur friend to sleep to end her suffering. Dr. Carpenter spent an extensive amount of time answering any questions and walking me step by step through the process. The techs were so compassionate towards our sweet baby throughout our whole visit too. The whole staff ensured that not only was my precious fur baby taken care of but myself as well. We have been to many vets but I will not use anyone else after this experience, they are the best in town hands down!! Thank you all for such loving care during an extremely difficult time!

I had a great experience coming here for the first time. The doctor and tech were both thorough and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable.

I took my boy Puzzle to Dr. Gholston on July 22nd for a torn acl in his right back leg. He performed the surgery which was fairly invasive. I took him back today for his final follow up, everything is perfect he uses his leg 100% again. The complete staff at Whitmire is wonderful, Puzzle loves them all, whereas he tried to bite the people at his previous vet, that spoke volumes to me. He will never have another doctor , this is his forever doctor. Dr. Gholston is the best with the animals as well as the people that the pets own.. if I could give more than 5 stars I would give a hundred.. Absolutely wonderful people, wonderful experience, great care and service, affordable prices and well worth every cent. Thanks to all the staff and Dr. Gholston Kenneth Kimbral

Amazing place. So caring and kind. Super helpful and explained everything I needed to know with my pups meds. Best of all very reasonably priced. Thank you so much for being kind and attentive. I'll definitely be coming here from now on and telling all my friends.

They were great with my pup. She's very skidish and they all were super sweet. The Dr even sat down on the ground with her. She had to get a shot and they did great with that also. Very good prices compared to other vets around. I will most definitely recommend them to all my friends.

Wonderful!!!! Staff was super nice and inviting!! I'm always nervous to try new places but I'm so glad I did!!! Buliding was very clean and didn't smell like animals at all!!! Definitely will be back!! Snow loved the girls too!

Awesome experience with Whitmire Animal Hospital and staff! They were all very helpful and friendly. They also worked me in quickly for a grooming issue I had with my pet. They did a great job. Building is clean and nice.

From the moment I called I felt good about this place. I work in customer service so I’m always paying attention to the little things. It does matter how someone speaks to you on the phone, it sets a tone for the whole experience. The front desk was very accommodating to all my crazy. :) One of my pups has high anxiety at the vet and is very loud. Getting in the room and Dr.Bassett clearly seeing my pup stressed, he sat on the ground and tried to calm him down, which didn’t work-LoL- but I appreciated the patience and effort by him and all of the staff tremendously!

Kind and caring staff. I couldn't have chosen a better vet for my emergency. My normal vet doesn't handle emergencies and Whitmire was close by. We had a really good experience here.

I highly recommend this vet for cat/dog breeders. They were very knowledgeable, efficient, quick, accurate, and over met my needs and expectations as a breeder! I left beyond happy. They have my business and I look forward to the next visit.

Dr Gholston did knee surgery on my yorkie mix. Doctor and staff were amazing from start to finish. She had a great surgery and they kept Me informed. I had numerous consults with other surgeons and so happy I chose Whitmire. I could not be more happy with her results 3 Months later- she is doing wonderful! Thank you

We had an emergency last Friday with my daughter's beloved dog Shadow and we had with much heart break had the to make the difficult decision to put him to sleep. I don't have the words to express how amazing Dr Carpenter and the staff accommodated us.She took the time to check everything possible to save him. If anyone wants a vet trust me you want them to take care of your pet. It will take us awhile to get over the grief but when we do get another dog we will be going to see Dr Carpenter the Team at Whitmire Animal Hospital. Thank you so much... ????????

Friendly staff, professional service and affordable prices.

We came upon this Vet as a recommendation from the Emergency Vet Clinic in Gainesville. We were fresh off the loss of a beloved family member and were struggling with some health issues of our remaining fur kid. We had lots of trouble at the previous vet we used and desperately needed another vet. We took them a very sick and elderly dog and we were welcomed. They helped us do all we could for her. They were receptive, honest and caring as well as excellent at what they do. Fast forward 6 months later and we were forced to make the very difficult decision about our Roxie. They made sure we had done all we could exhausted every effort and ultimately with their help we made the tough but correct decision. The day of they were patient and understand info and gave us all the time we needed and made a very tough experience as good as it could have been. If you are looking for a vet that is skilled, caring, compassionate and truly care about you and your pet this is for you.

Moved into the area last year and glad I found Whitmire. Dr Carpenter has been wonderful to work with. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
