Maury County Veterinary Hospital Columbia, Tennessee

Two years ago, I would have told you to avoid this place like the plague, but they're getting better. For the longest time, I would only take my livestock here (because of convenience). I brought a dog for cremation, and they had ME put her in the oven! We went to pick up a pet goat that had been sick, and when we asked the tech to bring him in while we waited for the vet, the response was, "Did nobody tell you he died?" Nonetheless, they have recently treated a few of our pets and done so in a very professional and knowledgeable manner. For the most part, they are professional and courteous, but the front desk staff are always friendly and pleasant. Locally, they are not my first choice in veterinary care for my pets, but they are becoming a close second.

Our animals have been seen by the Doctors at Maury County Veterinarian for at least 28 years. They have always been very nice, respectful, and professional. They really care about their patients (our pets/family members). And still taking care of them. The Doctors there are great. I wish I could tell how they handle our family members when we lost them. It would take all day. But we recently lot Sandy our Cat. And I still can't thank them enough. The compassion they had for us I couldn't put it on a scale. Again Thank You Maury County vet! We love you guys! The Sweeney's! ????????❤❤❤❤

I took my kitten Blu there for his first visit. Dr Gillam was great. Blu did get a fever which I was told may happen. Dr on call said he never got my messages. Dr Gillam called first thing Monday morning. Blu is fine, Dr Gillam is a very caring Dr. ????

BEST Veterinarian throughout the State of Tennessee!! I trust Dr. Lochlar and Dr. Meyer with ALL my animal's!! Dr. Lochlar specializes in French Bulldogs and he is the BEST

I have gone here for many years with my animals and I absolutely feel confident everytime I go, that they will get the best care. The staff is amazing

So much thanks !!!!! Saturday night and our poor doggo snatched a corn cob . A quick call and what to do, an immediate answer back.. awesome vets. Not only have they taken care of oir birds, but willing to help us on weekends. Thanks so much y'all!!

Great place and great people. Been using them for years, moved to marshall county recently and tried a vet out there but these people are better and more affordable. So I'll happily make the trip back out here to make sure my dog is in good hands, and it definitely helps that they are more affordable as well.

I'm not a client at this vet practice but accompanied my sister's dog there a few times. The few times I took Rudy I was very impressed. I worked for another vet for over 10 yrs so I know the ends and outs of a clinic, it takes a lot to impress me. This last Sunday Rudy became very sick and declined quickly. I called the 24 hr service (my sister was upset) and within minutes Dr. Myers called me back.He met us at the clinic and was so very professional and kind. No words can express how thankful I am for how he treated Rudy and my sister. He was awesome!!

Nurses are friendly & helpful. Doctors are concern about their patients & make sure the owners understand what to do best for their pets. After surgery they always call to see how the animal is doing.

The vets at Maury Cty Animal have taken care of my cat, two dogs and a horse for over 15 years. I highly recommend them for their knowledge and professionalism. Their fees are reasonable and their office staff is always helpful.

Well pleased with our first visit.

We lost our puppy of 16 yrs on a Saturday morning, thinking the Vet was open later than it was we showed up ten minutes late. One of the Vet assistants was leaving but after speaking with her, she helped us leave our dog to be cremated. You made one of the worst days of my life just a little easier. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Dr. Jordan is excellent! Very kind, caring, and gentle with strength if needed.
