Always friendly with me and my fur babies. Toast is very shy but they always take good care of him to where he's comfy enough for them to hold him.

We came to get my Dobie’s ear’s done, & everyone was so nice, very professional, any questions I asked, I received very good/helpful advice. I love bringing my sweet boy Rambo here, & I feel so comfortable knowing he’s in a great environment!

My mom & dad took our 10 ferrets to see the vet and Dr. Haddock was great. One of our ferrets was dying and had lost so much weight but Dr. Haddock saved him and they will definitely be going back! Thank you Dr. Haddock!

I worked here for just under two weeks and from what I went through I can tell you, this is the last place to bring your animals and it’s not good being there yourself either. The techs are kind and try to give animals the best care but the …

The vet was fine when I took my dogs there but they really didn't have very good personal skills with the pet owners. She wanted to place my dog on Prozac and she wouldn't listen to our situation about his nervousness. I just couldn't bring myself to return there. I need a vet with listening skills as I know my dog better than they do ;)

We needed a last minute boarding kennel for one of our dogs. Every place in Chattanooga and surrounding areas were at full capacity. The staff was very pilot when calling , they didnt rush me along. We got disconnected and Dr. Haddock answered and took all my info , gave instructions and set up boarding time. He said the staff was loaded with calls , so he picked up to help. Theyve been in touch every day sending photos of our Queen B puppy. Great team, information, reasonable and know their jobs well. Very pleased. Thank you all!

My step daughter has only worked for you all for 3 days and the owners/doctors have treated her poorly and spoke very mean and hateful to her.. yelling and belittling your employees won’t get you very far them and from what others have said about being employed by you all you haven’t changed.. my daughter has never worked in a vet clinic and she needed to be trained not just told you should know how to do this and if you don’t google it.. even though they can’t have their phones out.. be expecting a call from me and I’m hoping you will apologize to my daughter as well!!

They always take time for our pets. We feel like they treat our pets as they would their own.

My experience here was amazing! The VA Ashley was such a delight, she made not only myself but my fur baby feel calm and told us every step of the way. They gave us ways to save money on our pets Long term care!!! Dr. Haddock was such a delight!! I highly recommend them.

I worked here for not even two days. I walk out due to rude comments and literally getting yelled at over asking what the Dr had said to do( I have hearing aids and they know that). They have been nothing but rude since I walk in the first day. Do not recommend this place at all.

When I called about a spay I was met with a scheduler that was not very nice. Although they were on the list of vets that honor the certificate I had from Trooper’s Treasure Rescue, unless I was a client already they would need to do a, b, and c to verify her health even though I could furnish a, b, and c proof which has already cost $$$, then she said that they lose money when they do ‘these things’. Well, ok, I thought you agreed to be on the list because these rescued pets need adoption and to be spay and neutered. Well, it didn’t end well with Brainerd Hills call. We agreed this was not the place to take our pet. Although I cannot speak for anyone the other than the receptionist/scheduler, I doubt that I would consider BHV for this reason. We ending up finding a wonderful place that honored the certificate and she has been spay. It went very great and we even ended up getting her microchipped. We spent $208 at the other vet for additional items that were offered. If that’s the case for BHV, maybe you should consider coming off the list of places that honor the certificate?

My husband and I have been taking our pets to this vet since we moved to Chattanooga in 2017. They are always professional and show true concern for your pets. They even go as far to follow up by phone a day or two after appointments to see how your pet is doing. They also do grooming as well. One stop shop.

They do a good job of clipping my guinea pig's nails and they always let us know how much they weigh and then they'll stay trimmed for at least 2 months

We have took our pets to Brainerd hills veterinary for years and years. First it was with a Guinea Pig. The Guinea pig had a good life but when she was dying we called and they right away said bring her in and were waiting for us but she died in our way to vet. Then with our dachshund named baby. They seem him from puppy till we had to put him to sleep. During that period they were so kind and let the whole family be there with him when he was put to sleep. I recommend them 100%. They were also great about calling us back after hrs for our dog when he had a allergic reaction and would call to see how he was doing.

I am not a person to leave bad reviews because I typically would rather spread good than bad, but the incident that happened at this location was just too appalling not to share. I left this place in tears because the doctors were so awful to me. Upon picking my dogs up from being boarded, I was charged an extra night and for a bathing that I didn’t know I was signing up for. When I tried to explain that to the receptionist, she went and grabbed the doctor, John, who came out yelling at me. Didn’t ask me any questions. Just came out yelling saying I would pay the bill and that nothing is free while he huffed and puffed and kept waiving around the paperwork. This continued for nearly a minute. He walked away to grab the other doctor. I turned to the receptionist, trying not to cry and mentioned how absurd this was. How he was treating me was not professional nor appropriate. The receptionist kind of just looked uncomfortable and said “it’s how it is.” He came back out, with Pamela, the other doctor, yelling at me again and saying how I signed up for it and I would pay the bill if I wanted my dogs back. Pamela had to calm John down by bringing him to the other room, like a child. Once she came back, I tried to explain the situation and she cut me off. I asked her to please let me speak. After explaining, she still wasn’t willing to not charge me the extra. I told her that even if I had meant to sign up for it, at this point it should be free based on how I was just treated. She told me that’s why she had him go to the other room. As if that made up for his actions that already occurred twice! I wanted my dogs back, so I couldn’t do anything but pay the bill. I told her I would not be back to which she just said “I’m sorry to hear that.” She did not start to be kind to me until I was pulling out my credit card. I don’t know if the rest of the negative reviews listed here are true (about the animal abuse), but I do know I was verbally abused that day and no one was willing to rectify the situation. I hope that John and Pamela can come to their senses and either take courses on customer service or admit to themselves this isn’t a field they should be in. Please think twice about bringing your pets here.

The people that work there were not rude, but the woman who cared for my dog was rather sloppy. She was suppose to squirt meds into my pet's mouth, but did nothing to ensure it went in. Of course, he turned his head, refusing the meds, and she partially squirted it across the room onto my toddler and myself! She also was spoonfeeding a special food into his mouth, dropping it all over the floor, and left it. I cleaned it up, because I didn't want it on my dog or child. She acted as if she was giving me cans of this special food, as well as other services, yet never specified there was a cost. I had called in advance to ensure how much I would need for the services (and even the possibility of others), but when I was going to checkout/pay, it was well over $100 more than I was quoted. I only had enough to pay for the services (including ones I was made to think were being done as a care/courtesy for my dog), and couldn't even pay for the meds he ACTUALLY needed. While waiting to check out, another customer was complaining about being charged several hundred dollars for services that were suppose to be less expensive, then it happened to me, as well. I've never returned to this location, nor have I recommended it to anyone.

These doctors care about pets. I’ve used them since 1970s when they were in Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga. Importantly, they take interest in keeping my pets healthy.

I like coming here. I can tell my dog doesn't mind it too much either. I use them for boarding and I'm thankful for the attention they give my dog. I wish they had longer hours and Sunday hours, but that's all I would change.

We've been taking our dogs here for years. Dr. Haddock and Dr. Prince, along with their techs, are always so thoughtful and caring towards our boys and we trust them completely, no matter if it's routine stuff or an emergency situation. We recently moved much farther away and we still come here because they're the best.

Today was my first visit to Brainerd hill vet. I took my leopard gecko in. She has an eye issue. Dr. Haddock spent over an hour working with my baby and trying to figure out the best soloution. He sent me home with some eye drops for her …

The customer service has always been poor here. The older lady is rude and a tad on the crazy side. We came here in a urgent situation as they were able to get our dog in right away and although they tried to help, we ended up spending time and money without proper diagnosis/treatment. There is a reason for their open appointment schedule. I would seek other vet options.

Good Veterinarians , kenneled for 3days but dog very eager to leave and took days to calm down once he was home. Unusual, guess he didn't like the kennels.

I worked here for no longer than a week. This is the absolute worst veterinary hospital I have ever been in. Besides the two veterinarians, there is only one full time tech. Their methods are extremely outdated. Mercury thermometers were outlawed in veterinary medicine a long time ago, yet they still use them. If you stepped in the back, you would see an absolute unorganized mess and dirty floors. Go ahead and ask for a tour. The wife is a nightmare to work with. They always have an open job posting online because they cannot keep any sensible techs in this place. There are places a million times better that would gladly see your pets. They should be reported.
