Did a walk-in, took a little while but the vet was very good. Explained everything about our Blitzes injuries.

Through the years and various pets we've used the Animal clinic and have had nothing but good experiences with anyone we dealt with. Their late hours are so convenient and we appreciate the kindness and hard work they've done taking care of our babies.

We had a difficult situation with a furry family member. I can honestly say, they couldn't have done a single thing better. The only "bobble" if you want to call it that was a new staff member that provided inaccurate information. A fellow staff member came over and addressed it quietly with the new team member and we were right back on track. Otherwise they were friendly, respectful, and compassionate. With my limited interaction, I would tell you that the care we received was superior in every way compared to some "competition" locally. I would recommend them without reservation. They made a difficult situation as good as it could get.

We like the Drs and service, but it should not take 2 hours for an APPOINTMENT. C’mon! Every darn time we have to wait and wait and wait just for a checkup or routine visit. If you are that busy, stop overbooking appointments.

Twice Scott Curtis has saved the lives of my feral kittens. I would never take my animals anywhere else.

When my dog got hit by a car a couple months ago, my wife wouldn’t have it any other way than to take her to the vet. I get it, she wasn’t walking well and would yelp trying to stand up. We were new to the Athens area so my wife did a quick google search and The Animal Clinic of Athens “stood out” to her, I don’t understand that but whatever. Lol. We had to wait a while but it wasn’t too bad. As soon as we were brought into the exam room Dr Naylor sat on the floor with her, gave her so much love, and treats while doing her exam. She was so gentle and went at Yeti’s pace when going for X-rays. SHE WAS PHENOMENAL! She did everything she could and Yeti is completely back to normal! I will ALWAYS bring my dogs here no matter what!

Its pitiful that a vet won't help a sick animal unless u have payment upfront even if you are on a fixed income we cant get our dog seen to figure out what's wrong with her because they gotta be paid right then can't board her til we are paid or anything very bad that y'all are that money hungry

Website shows they are open until 5.. Now, I'm fully aware vets are busy especially on the weekends. About 3:15 PM yesterday, my cat of almost 17 years old started dragging his feet and panting. Unfortunately, I already knew what had to be done. We called here in hopes to get in somewhere close by home since he was already in pain. We were told they had too many people and cut off anyone coming in so they could leave by 5. Only to be told to go to an emergency clinic. If you have pets, you know how expensive these can be. In a time like this, you want compassion and you want the vet to step up and do what has to be done. Needless to say, we will NEVER go here and we will be sure to let others know what happened. Let me add.. I know we are not normal "clients" here, but you do expect better response when you have a poor baby basically dying in your arms.. Don't rely on this clinic if you have an emergency and they are still open. This was not after hours. I can't speak on the veterinarian themselves. I am sure they are well qualified and understanding. This was just heartbreaking, in an already heartbreaking situation.

They saved our fur baby there excellent he was a couple of hours away from death and they turned it around and give wonderful care and I would recommend them to any fur baby out there no matter the reason....❤️

Used to be five star but over past couple years it seems the care the give animals has dropped. Not sure if it is staff turnover or they stopped caring.

If I could give you zero I would! Instead of doing an allergy test to find out what she was having mild reactions to you decided to give her a steroid shot on top of other meds. I awaken at 6 am the next day to my poor girl being in distress. Covered in hives, eyes swollen almost shut, labored breathing. I tried to call to see if you had an emergency number and you didn’t. I ended up having to drive 45 minutes to another vet where I learned you could actually have allergy testing done on your dog to make sure they’re treated accordingly. You made it sound like the only option to find out if it was a food allergy or not was to try this method and my baby paid the price. Trust me when i say I will be repeating this when I come to pick up her and my other dogs records. You guys do nothing but peddle products and meds, expensive for no reason, and the wait time for a doctor to come in is BEYOND ridiculous. Enjoy that 200$ you got from me yesterday and the thousands of dollars you got from me in the past because it will be the last. I’ll be sure to add you to do not recommend!

They were wonderful to me and my Gracie. Even though we lost her in her cancer battle, I couldn't have asked for a more caring vet and team. They tried tirelessly to save her and gave her and me all the love and peace we needed. Thank you all.

Response is a lie....vet and staff on duty September 28th evening shift bad for business.....I purchased Revolution on July 20, 2021..a six pack....My review is because DURING OPEN HOURS THEY LOCKED DOORS AT 10:30 (website is 12 am)..And this facility DOES NOT DO EMERGENCY VET CARE..FUNNY DR. CURTIS WAS NOT EVEN AWARE OF ThAT HImsELF....I asked that they remove their untruthful response...More to come....

Slow. A one hour wait and unorganized. So many people went in front of me and the front office didn't seem to care

I don't like this place...My dog, Nala needed a nail trim. Her dew claw was curling back into her pad. (FYI I keep her nails clipped but due to unforeseen circumstances I was a late getting them trimmed this time.) I called the vet I normally use and they couldn't get her in until the next wk. She was limping and licking at it so I felt she needed it sooner than later. I called the Animal Clinic, thinking its just a nail trim...Well after waiting in the waiting room for an hour and a half. They take her back. Now let me remind you, I made an appointment. I also told them she would have to me muzzled bc she will bite you and any of your staff. Her nick name is Deebo. Lol they take her back and when she comes back out. I notice her bottom is wet. Like dripping wet. The nurse was talking and amongst all the bc all the commotion of the other dogs I got overwhelmed and didn't ask why her but was dripping wet. The lady informed me that next time I would have to sedate my dog with meds I have to buy from them. Also was gonna charge me an extra $20 because she was so "bad" now I could be wrong but one would think that at some point during their education they were trained and somewhat prepared for the "bad" ones. Lol I didn't pay the extra 20 and informed them the only reason I was there was her regular vet couldn't get her in fast enough and they were my very last option. Also super unfriendly and rude to other customers.
