I’ve been with WNC Vet for the last 25 yrs. my last 6 four legged kids have gone there. My black Labrador is a patient there now. She’ll 6 yrs. old. The staff & Doctors are just terrific. I HiGHLY recommend them!!!

I've been going to WNC Veterinary hospital for years. I moved to Clyde 3 years ago & I continue to drive all of my animals to Arden because I love Dr. Farmer & Dr. Young. I feel the prices are reasonable here & I've never felt pushed to choose expensive treatments. I've always felt the options were laid out for me, and after further discussion with the vet I choose what I feel is best for my animals

It’s a long story, but an 8 month old puppy went in for a simple neuter. Had an early appointment. Was kept all day, overdosed in a cage. They wanted to keep him overnight ( I guess to cover up the incompetence) It now involves the sheriff’s dept quarantining the dog for 10 days. The procedure was never done. And they left the IV needle in his arm. My grandpa had to take it out in their parking lot. Total incompetence!

Dr. Young is hands down the best veterinarian I have ever encountered. He has provided impeccable care for all of my and my parent’s dogs and cats over the years. When faced with some very complex health issues requiring diagnostic work, he was able to quickly identify the issue and treat my mother’s elderly dog, Lucy. I am confident he sustained our dog’s life for much longer than could have been expected. Truly it was quite remarkable care. He also provided compassionate consult with my elderly mother over her dear companion, Lucy and treated her with respect and dignity. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Young and I am an enthusiastic advocate for WNC Veterinary Hospital. Excellent quality at a reasonable cost.

Fast and friendly. My wife and I just moved to the area and our dog started having allergies. These guys were the only vets around willing to take on a new patient in such short time.

I had called several vets to try to save my puppy life. They all turned me away due to not having the time. I called wnc veterinary and they didn't hesitate to have me bring him in to get treatment and save my baby. This is an amazing vet.

All the vets took great care of my 2 senior dogs until the time we had to say goodbye. Dr Young stands out as one of the best and was there for me when both my boys crossed the rainbow bridge. I am forever grateful for the compassion WNC Vet Hospital staff has shown me.

Even with current safety precautions they provide personalized care. I brought my Golden Retriever to see if she needed dental cleaning, and routine exam. They came out to the parking lot to get her, after a curbside interview and listening to questions. Then the doc came out and talked to me about findings and management recommendations. And no, she didn't need a dental cleaning (which requires anesthesia!) He answered questions at length. Since my dog is getting older, I'm going to change from getting annual shots at a shot clinic to continuing to get physical exams with her shots, and will continue to use WNC Vet Hospital.

Dr. Young is so caring about your pet and very knowledgeable and professional. His staff is always helpful and courteous. WNC Vet is a great place if you want the best care for your furry friend!
