I received bravecto for my hundred pound Pittie--but the prescription had to b 2doses because of her weight-SEE PHOTO- I emailed & asked Ruth if this depleted dosage was correct-I called & asked her if she got my mail & question-she told me a fib & said “”They”” said it was taken care of when I received the meds @ the hospital”But I didn’t open the meds til the next day-she didn’t respond to my mail She had said “they” but only one gentleman gave me the doses-when I asked “who?” “They’”were-she sez ‘I can’t recall”-more or less making me feel that this was not an expedient concern-t’niw-I can not call as I’m blocked//Gretta is a diabetic & due for another prescription of insulin soon-ruth(will not disclose her surname) has made a monumental mistake & I will push & I am an extremely tenacious person, specially Pw/my baby girl-very observant & resourceful-she’s not going to get by with treating my significant other like this-as I am terminal & in home hospice palliative care- Beware of this person Ruth-No Empathy-misplaced in her position & in dealing w/people-& feels she’s an entitled person-appalling & totally unprofessional thank you

Everyone was very nice and very helpful. They took me at time of appointment. Were very kind to my dog. Plus I got to go in office with him and talk to vet personally which is very helpful when you have questions and worried about your little animal.

Since new owners, they have been very supportive, most caring even durning the 2020 crisis. Seen to my cat's needs as if she were their own. They kept in communication while I sat in my vehicle letting me know how things were going. Though I've not met the vet's in person as yet, I feel I have. I am looking forward to meeting them in person. I highly recommend Carolina Family Vet, You won't be disappointed. My sincere thanks and appreciation to All the staff.

I had a great experience at Carolina Family Vet. They are so caring about your pet. Josh is the best and my dog loves him, he takes time to get to know your pet and really explains things well.

We’ve used this practice for various animals throughout the years. More recently, we have had a puppy that began her care here early on. Unfortunately, she was in an emergency where she was injured. I called the vet on our drive there, and they came to the car instantly ready to take her in for care. They were patient to take my calls when I was nervous caring for her at home. Throughout her recovery (5 weeks in) they have been wonderful to work with. Dr. Miller is very informative, making sure concerns are explained. Our puppy absolutely loves the staff, and they genuinely love their patients. It certainly shows. On the business side of things, I feel they only do tests that are necessary. They (if possible) discuss those things upfront, and the costs involved. Their office visits are very affordable , comparatively. The office and exam rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are very kind and compassionate. Our puppy has a ways to go, but she’s doing great, thanks in large part to the staff and doctors here.

I’ve been going here for years ! We love it ! The Doctors are awesome and the staff are just as amazing ! Ricky and Karen are my favorites and the others I just don’t know by name but they are outstanding and really know what they’re doing ! For instance I had to take Roman , our American Staffordshire , to a sick appointment and the Vet Tech that came out knew I was scared of giving him his pill and she opened his mouth like it was nothing and got it down his throat without any hesitation! Wish I had gotten her name so that I could give her recognition but anyways they’re all just amazing ! I highly recommend them!

My cat had an emergency and they fit us right in. They took great care of her and worked with me to keep costs as low as possible without sacrificing quality of care.

My dog had a health issue this past year for which I only talked to a vet once. It is very difficult navigating a health issue when you cannot talk to the vet while your pet is being examined. Can I not be on speakerphone? Had full lab work done prior to a procedure, yet they didn't test my dog for heartworm at that time even though it was due. They also tried to give my dog supplements that she is allergic to, that they diagnosed. What could be accomplished with one visit, seems to take multiple attempts for this office. The wait time for a simple receipt can take as long as 20 minutes. Don't waste your or your pets time to put them through endless poking and prodding. Very unprofessional. Switching to an office and vets that inspire confidence and care as well as proficiency

VERY pleased with my first visit here. They fit me in on a busy Friday to see my poodle who was having trouble with her eye. Dr. Couch was great to work with and very informative. Everyone was very friendly! Swift and fairly priced. I'll definitely be back!

I had such a positive experience here I want to share it with others. I came to Carolina Family Vet in an emergency situation. They saw my dog within a few hours of contacting them. My vet tech was Amanda and the vet was Dr. Couch. They were both professional, very friendly and gentle with my dog. I don't live in the area but if I did I'd be using this team without hesitation!

At Carolina Family Vet they do what you ask them not to do, don’t do what you ask them to, and can’t do what they say they’ll do. In the past they have vaccinated my dog even though we insisted he was caught up on that shot (and they later agreed). We insisted that a certain protocol had to be met to successfully clip his nails...they disagreed...then later agreed that our recommendation was actually best after wasting a bunch of our time and money on additional medication and follow up appointments. We have had two situations where we have scheduled procedures as per their protocol, and they have not fulfilled the work they said they would. Did they learn after the first time? NO! Instead they offer lousy and dismissive remarks like “I have never seen your dog before” to sum up why they can’t perform the task they said they would. If competent care can only be provided through assigning one vet per animal, fine, but that was never the deal. Newsflash...it’s up to whoever books the appointment to gather and share all necessary information with anybody involved with the care of that pet. The biggest disappointment is that they take ZERO accountability. I’m a reasonable person. I expect people to make mistakes. However, to have any degree of confidence after a mistake is made, I expect to hear why the mistake was made, how it will be rectified, and how it will never happen again. This never happens at Carolina Family Vet. Literally, every time they have done something they shouldn’t have, or have not done what they said they would, I have been slapped with a bill for additional expenses. With no assurance that they can get more organized and detail-oriented, I am taking my business elsewhere. I really hope they can take the simple steps to becoming a more efficient and professional practice, but I won’t be along for the ride.

My husband and I have been very disappointed by their care on multiple occasions. We have had many issues with their lack of organization and communication. We are very upset about a wide variety of issues we have had with this veterinary office. We will be finding a new veterinarian to take our pets for veterinary care going forward.

The staff at Carolina Vet is very friendly and they all care about our animals as if they were their own. We had our cat Pumpkin in to them a few months ago and she needed surgery on her mouth. She had a few bad teeth that were removed and now Pumpkin is doing much better and has been acting like herself ever since. We recently had our dog Gracie into them as well and she has been diagnosed with kidney disease. Dr Miller seems very thorough in his care and treatment of our baby who is 14 1/2 years old. He takes his time with explaining everything to us and he doesn't rush a conversation and he also provides options and goes over costs before treatment so we know what to expect. He even talks about different options where we can even save money. Not a lot of vets do that. Thank you for taking good care of our fur babies and being very thorough. We appreciate it.

Our poor cat sustained injuries from being hit by a car. All the vets in the area, including mine, was fully booked. Carolina Family vet had an opening and we were seen within 30 mins of calling. All the staff were amazing! The vet was so patient and kind. Highly recommend Carolina Family. It’s further from my house, but I will be switching vets to these guys. Thank you!! I feel confident my pets are in good hands.

Under the current circumstances with Covid the vet visit went excellent. The process from the moment I called to schedule, arrival and completing the visit was impressive. Josh was very helpful in checking us in and Dr. Miller was informative, professional and first class in manner. We have a sphynx cat whose needs are unique and they did great! Ty Dr. Miller and team for the great visit!

My new vet. The whole process was above and beyond the 5 stars here. I would give them 100, if I could. My dog, and myself, was treated with respect and no judgement. They fixed him up quickly and the price tag was so reasonable. Very reliable and honest.
