Meows and Growls Resort and Grooming York, South Carolina

Absolutely blown away at how great my Pomeranian “Ava” looked and was taken care of after her grooming.

They took great care of my dog while I was on vacation. Everyone was very friendly. The prices are affordable. They sent a picture of my dog to me each day while I was gone-which was reassuring to me.

Always great! Our furbabies enjoy staying there. Very affordable and the staff is friendly.

My two dogs have attended daycare there. They were happy and eager to go back. I felt good about taking them there. Very nice people, clean facility.

The groomer is super nice and did a great job the 1st time I took my pup, with that being said, the 2nd and 3rd time was not so great, and I decided to go with another groomer.

1st time using the facility. DUKE seemed to love it. Would be nice to have cams to watch him play with the other pets. No complaints from me ....

I bring my large golden/ lab mix, Biscuit, in monthly to be groomed and deshedded. They always do a fabulous job on him! I understand that all of the hair on a dog cannot be removed...sans shaving him :) He's too pretty to be shaved! So as a pet owner I know that it is up to me to brush him during shedding season, even after grooming...but boy does it ever help to have the majority of that undercoat removed! I am so grateful to have Meows and Growls nearby! I have also boarded Biscuit with them and he was a very happy boy when he came home. He was happy to have his cozy bed that they made for him with his blanket and he was entertained well while we were away. They have created an amazing place to pamper your pet and to keep them stimulated. The employees love animals and you can tell! I would highly recommend them. Be sure to communicate your needs, concerns and praise for the care given to your pet and all will be addressed with professionalism and kindness.

I have a small Jack Russell that we boarded for 6 days to go out of town. Just picked her up and she’s lethargic drenched in pee like they have just left her to sit in her own pee the whole time thirsting to death and smells horrible. Never will I ever leave my dog here again.

Terry worked really fast and efficient with my puppy I was very pleased.

The boarding facility and play date section is set up great!! Cat rooms for socialized and individual containment for...well ( not so friendly) yet they all are well treated and get their attention, when your away, plus the peace of mind, that a vet is on staff next door. ❤. Dogs have the same luxury accomadations. It's a one stop shop I highly recommend!! 5*s

Took my dog to get groomed and deshedding. When I picked her up she had hair falling off of her. It has been a week and I think she is shedding worse than before. Will not be going back.
