Four neighbors responded positively about Valley Walk when we asked for vet recommendations. To keep from being too long winded, our initial visit with this office was very good. Everyone was friendly. Dr. Tony was personable and very clear in his explanations. The costs seemed very reasonable.

I recently switched vets and brought my two dogs to see Dr. Holtzclaw. It was the best switch I could have ever made! All the staff are amazing especially the vet techs! One of my dogs has a lot of health issues right now, and her care has been wonderful. They have had same day appointments, answers for all my questions, and have gone above and beyond to make sure she is taken care of. I couldn't be happier, and I have no intentions of ever switching my dogs again. We finally found the best vet around!

We heard a lot of good things about this practice so decided to take one of our dogs there for her 3 year rabies, check her liver and thyroid levels and look at a spot she has been chewing. When we first arrived the tech told us we had to have vaccines for distemper, parvo and bordatello in order for them to take her back for the blood work and shots. I informed them we had titres for the distemper and parvo. She had to check if that was ok. So they took that. Then I questioned the need for the bordatello shot and the vet informed me it was needed to protect the other patients. My point was that if she was sick and you took her back for the shot she would infect the others at that point. Ok, I gave on that one it’s their policy and we were there. They took her back, never looked at her ichy area(she said she would shave it and never did. They did a blood panel for liver and kidneys and none for the thyroid. I did not ask for a kidney panel. They gave her a 1 year rabies shot when I had specific l’y asked for a three. And what vet would give a one year anyway. And they vet and tech were doing some eye rolling at us because we were being proactive for our dogs. Will not be going back, needless to say.

Mine and my kittens experience today at Valley Walk was terrible…. The two people that saw us (tech and Vet) rushed through EVERYTHING. Neither stopped to even remotely seem caring about my kittens issues… I told them I had x amount of money For the visit and they came back and said that we were $50 over what I said I had…. When they told me how much we were at I told them that I did not have that much and they never asked permission to do anything else BUT that I could bring the extra the next morning.. the vet looked at me then looked at the tech and told her to put the cat down and they walked out. While they were out of the room I heard the vet tell his tech to give me the antibiotics and get me out of there…. I was almost in tears… the tech came back and said they just wouldn’t treat one of my kittens issues so it brought the bill down to what I could pay.. she took my payment, gave me antibiotics and told me I could go… I understand everyone has their days.. but as a fellow business owner in the animal industry, this was awful…

Have been using Valley Walk for about a year now and couldn't be happier with their service.

Fast and Great service. Made me feel like family. Sad I didn't find them sooner. It would be a disservice to take your fur babies anywhere else!

We had an emergency and our regular vet was closed. The staff were amazing. They were compassionate and accommodating despite the fact that we're not regular patients. Words cannot express our appreciation for everything they did for us.

Dr Holtzclaw is THE BEST vet I've ever been to. He saved me $3,000 on a surgery that UVS recommended because the kitten's injury healed perfectly with just crate rest as he thought it would. He's an incredibly skilled and intuitive Dr and they've got my business as long as I have pets.

We just moved to the area and our black lab, Mia, and pitbull Heidi needed check ups. They noticed right away Mia had a tumor and scheduled to remove it. They were so good to our sweet girl and they were kind and attentive, even though she's a nervous pup. Definitely highly recommended!

My dogs and I love this place! Dr. Holtzclaw and his techs are the best! I love how there isn't any breed discrimination here and my dogs feel very calm and comfortable here. Highly recommend!

Dr. Holtzclaw and his team have far exceeded our expectations every step of the way. Our 4 month old Boston broke his elbow and Dr. Holtzclaw walked us through our options, was up front and honest, and was very reasonably priced. He was able to successfully repair the complicated fracture and our puppy is recovering well. This morning (Sunday) we woke up to our puppy without his cast. I reached out and without hesitation the doctor came in and got a new cast on him. Just about any other vet would have sent us to the emergency vet. Dr. Holtzclaw and his team own their work and genuinely care for all of their patients. Consider me thoroughly impressed, and consider this my highest recommendation!

My visit was not a pleasant one. I was there to have my dog put down. They were very respectful, very professional and did everything they could to make this as painless for me and my dog as they could. Good people from the front door to the Dr. Give them a try, I don't think you will regret it.

The doctor took the time to explain my cat's condition at the time and when I asked for more detail, scientifically but understandable, he was more than happy to show me why Hyperthyroidism occurs in older cats and what the medicine prescribed would do to take care of the issue. Again, I was extremely happy with me experience with every member of the office :)

Very friendly staff , doctor puts everything in terms you understand ,a little on the expensive side but I would rather pay a little more for a great job which is what u get here ,we've had our english bulldog Tonkas cherry eye surgery here awesome job BTW, will continue his services here for as long as we own animals

Dr. Tony is the best! We always take our dogs to him! He is always explaining and figuring the best way to help your furry friends out. What a amazing group of vet techs also. All so friendly and concerned. Best place around.

Dr. Holtzclaw is the best. We have been going to him for years. He was at another facility when we started seeing him, and he was the only doctor who wanted to find the underlying reason for our dog's illness rather than just to treat symptoms. He also wasn't afraid to refer us to a more specialized vet when he couldn't figure out problems she had later in life. He was so tender with us when he finally had to put her down. He sees our new pup and she loves him and all of his super techs!

Just moved to the area and my new groomer recommended...so glad to have found Dr H!! We’ve been trying to diagnose our shih tzu for years and he identified the condition almost instantly! All our fur babies will go here from now on!
