Dr. Grant is an excellent veterinarian I have a problem with the staff their behavior and their overall lackadaisical attitude they allowed my dog of 15 years to die crying in my arms waiting to be put down. They need to get new office employees and people who can organize and care about what’s actually happening not themselves

My daughter's senior boxer Bella Lee had surgery today. Dr Grant is so kind and just plain wonderful! He is so trustworthy. When you put your precious beloved fur baby in his hands...you just know that the outcome will be the best it can be. Thank you Nemasket staff and ESPECIALLY DR GRANT!

1st appointment for my scotty Fiona, all went well got in a wee earlier then my time which was perfect.

I've been taking my pets there for 9 years. We've lost and gained a Border Collie in this time. When I lost my old dog, they were there for me. The compassion shown was more than I ever could have asked for. I will always take my pets to Nemasket. They have been taking care of the 2 dogs I currently have since they were puppies. Highly Recommend by ME????

Dr Grant is the most caring and also the most knowledgeable vet I have ever used. Amazing, I have used many vets over the years, he outshines them all.

I take my mom’s cat here for B12 shots. The girls are quick, friendly and somehow can get Lucas the cat in and out of his carrier without him seeming to be traumatized. Unbelievable!!

Dr. Grant has been my vet for over 30 years. He's very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. I've also used Dr. Leeven several times, and she's wonderful as well. She's been with him for many years, atleast 20 or more. I live in West Ashley, and used a vet (Patrick Vet Clinic) closer to me when my cat got an ear infection. After 3 visits, (one every 2 months) for the same ear infection, I made an appointment to see Dr. Leeven. Turns out he didn't have an ear infection, he had a polyp which she could easily see. No telling what might have happened had I not gone to Nemasket. I will not stray from them ever again!

I made an appointment to put my ferret to rest after ASKING if they give the medication while in the room. Dr.Grant came in already with sarcasm and not sympathetic AT ALL. he says he has to take the ferret back for anesthesia first and will finish in the room but instead takes him back and just puts him down without our consent or goodbyes. He then proceeded to bring him back in like a sack of potatoes and makes a few jokes about how he didnt wanna go down. Asked if we needed a bag and went on to his next appointment. We will NEVER be back and we will NEVER refer anyone. I hope Dr.Grant chooses whats best for the community and retires. We love the nursing staff though!

I’ve been having issues with my dog having UTIs for the past 4 months it’s taken 6 vet visits countless test and antibiotics for nothing to be working and for them to never tell me what was wrong. I had to wait for over 5 hours at one of these visits. I finally decided to go to a new vet and they received the paperwork from nemasket vet that clearly showed the problem was that he had crystal build up and he should have been prescribed vet food from the beginning and the problem would have been resolved at the first visit. I feel like my time was wasted and my money was stolen. I will never be going back and will discourage anyone from using them. Brighton Animal Hospital is a wonderful clinic and I suggest you make an appointment with them instead of this money hungry vet.

I used Nemasket in Summerville for years and was always very pleased with their services. They offer fair prices and excellent care. Dr. Grant is amazing and I wish there were more vets like him???? I've used them for spay/neutering, dog eye injury surgery, dog bladder stone surgery, dog foot partial amputation after lawnmower accident, venomous snake bite in a dog, and more.

Doctor Grant is amazing, there is a reason he is in such high demand. He did surgery on my cat's eyes and my kitty can see clearly for the first time in his life. How do you say Thank you enough for the gift of sight

I have been going there 15 years I love Dr. Grant Their performance today really upset me. My 15-year-old dog has been going there all of her life last night she was in pain I brought her in I only agreed to one procedure they did two. More money. Today I showed up at 9:15 they told me to come back if her medicine was not working my dog was in extreme pain and listless crying weak and tired. They had me sit in a cold room and in a cold chair for one hour holding a sick whining dog who then died in my arms. When I told them she died they came up with one excuse after another very unprofessional. They knew she was dying I told them yesterday and today and they did nothing they just let her die in pain. I am SORRY FLI ????????‍????

Best vet in Summerville, highly recommended

Checked in for my 4:30 appointment at 4:20 and wasn't seen by the vet until 6:18. This is not a one time occurrence. 3 out of the last 4 visits have been 1hr+ waits. This last visit will more than likely be our last.

They've literally been around forever. Staff is super nice. Their credit card machine has gone down a couple of times. "They say, Just call us in the morning." If you're looking at an expensive procedure they'll work with you on payments. I personally own dogs but I've heard from others they're great with all animals.

I felt the folks here genuinely cared about the animals. Dr. Grant was very knowledgeable about our guinea pigs. We will be going here for our future veterinary needs.

Always friendly, truly care about my fur baby and what is best for him. Never feel like they are just piling on tests to increase my costs. Very reasonable rates. Best of all my fur baby likes them.
