Very short and rude over the phone so we canceled our appointment. I had heard good things about this vet...but can't imagine what kind of service us and our pet will receive if the initial appointment setup is so unprofessional.

I have been going there for years..Got a new puppy and they were so excited to have her as a patient..I love Dr Reynolds and his staff. I would not trust my pets with anyone else. Have been with Central Vet for over 10 years. Thank you Central Vet!!!

I have had many dogs seen by Dr. Reynolds over 15 years. He and his staff is very kind and compassionate. This time Dr. Reynolds did an amazing job calming my concerns about new onset seizures in my basset hound. I have learned over the years, if he doesn't worry, I won't either! It's nice to see the same staff is there too. It speaks highly of him as a boss. Thanks again Dr. Reynolds!!

Our issue was resolved 1-2 weeks after this review and no problems with refills since. Our geriatric dog has been a patient for 12+ years, & now needs special dog food that required their authorization to fill. Fast forward we have tried over 2 weeks and the girls that answer the phone talk about “100s of requests for filling prescriptions every day” and we’ll get to it when we can. They do not have the specific kidney food that my dog will eat directly from sale at the office and yet they won’t authorize so I can order elsewhere. Apparently they would rather my beloved dog and their long term patient starve or be fed food he should not eat. I hope this gets to the appropriate staff and doctors so it is addressed and I will update my review when/ if its fixed. I should not be having this problem and I can only hope the Doctors don’t realize this is going on. As a doc myself I know how fax authorization requests come in and it is simply a matter of a quick signature or a substitute recommended for fill. We have spent thousands buying things directly from them in support and always do any necessary testing and visits. We have even continued to use them despite having moved to DI. Hoping this turns around for my dog and so I can review a more positive side of this practice.

Would not recommend. Staff is absolutely rude. The manager/owner himself is rude. I brought my dog to have a heart worm test even called the morning of. I got there waited 30 minutes to even be seen. They brought him out had not done the heart worm test when I asked why the girl said it was not in his chart. The front staff does not update anything. When I asked for my dogs records the owner called me because I guess it’s his thing to have to speak to you if you request records (per his front desk girl ). He was extremely rude on the phone. Don’t ask questions and when someone is trying to tell you their issues you get rude with them. I would not recommend at all taking your animals here.

Took our last Shiba to Central but lost him a year and a half ago. The great Doctors and staff were wonderful to him/us. Today our new Shiba went there for the first time. Wouldn't have thought of taking him anywhere else. Always nice to know our dog is in the best of hands.
