I took my Golden Retriever to this groomer on Monday 8/30 and I told them I wanted the same thing he got the previous time he was there which was a trim. I came back and they had shaved his ENTIRE body which any groomer knows not to ever shave a golden retriever because they have a double coat and this can cause skin issues. I didn’t even recognize my dog when I picked him up. I told the manager I was extremely disappointed with the service and could not believe what they had done. She then went on to blame this god awful haircut on me and said that this was the same thing I asked for last time which was absolutely not the case because I would have NEVER come back here if they had done this previously. I asked for a refund because why would I even pay for a service like this?? The manager never once apologized and was extremely disrespectful. While I got my refund back two days later, this does not make up for the lack of care provided. I will never return to this place and don’t recommend anyone to have their dogs groomed here. Also, the rude response back to your customers on your reviews just proves how you treat your customers and it’s not needed on my post. Thanks.

I boarded my dog for the weekend and when I picked him up on Sunday he was coughing. I took him to the vet and they determined he has kennell cough. I called to talk to the manager to let them know and I was "assured" he didn't get it from there. Kinda funny how my dog was ok before he stayed there. I won't be taking him back! Who responds like this! Response from the owner 11 hours ago The incubation period for kennel cough is typically 3-5, sometimes even 14 days. The reason you were told that it could not have come from us is that your dog came in on Friday and you picked up on Sunday. That is barely two full days. We also informed you that your pup needed to have the Bordetella vaccination, in which they actually did not have. Please, put all the facts in the review. I realize if you had it wouldn’t make you out to be such a victim. Your lack of responsibility for you pet has endangered the rest of the pups that stayed with us by bringing kennel cough into our facility. Do not come back to our facility.

I was going to drop off my dog here for boarding, but something felt off and I’m so glad I listened to my instincts. While my boyfriend and I were at the front desk I Immediately heard something going on in the back where the kennels are for boarding. I moved closer so I could hear, and I hear somebody in the back yelling extremely loud at the dogs to “shut up” and cursing at them. I heard her slamming cage doors and I even heard her make a dog whimper while slamming a cage door on the poor dog. Whoever that was needs to learn how to take care of dogs! This was on June 7th, in the morning. I do not know who it was because we left before she even stepped out. There was a sweet lady helping us at the front and I think one groomer next to us giving a dog a haircut so I know it was not them.

We were in town and needed to drop our dog off for a short time and they were kind enough to watch our dog at no charge(less than an hour). The staff were very kind and professional.

In the past, my experience with 4 Paws has been great. My wife and I have used them for the past couple of years when we go on extended stay trips. They have taken great care of my dog and their grooming has been great as well. This past week, I had to go out of town for a business trip and left my dog, Onyx, with the staff at 4 paws. After returning and picking him up, my wife and I noticed that Onyx had lost a significant amount of weight, to the point where his spine was protruding through his coat, as if he hadn't eaten in days. I called to inquire about his feedings over the last week, as well as why we were not notified about his drastic change in condition. The owner was extremely rude and condescending on the phone. He completely dismissed my concerns for Onyx. His yelling and his mission to talk over me let me know that my concerns were going to fall on deaf ears from the onset of our conversation. He told me that he would not apologize for his staff not noticing the shift in my dog's condition, and that I should take him to vet the before I spoke to him about what happened while we were away, while in the care of 4 Paws. He mentioned that if he could go back in time to monitor Onyx over the last week, he would. I offered that maybe that could be something the business should invest in, and before I could recommend some type of camera system that would allow for this, he condescendingly and obnoxiously asked if I was going to suggest him investing in a "time machine". It was an extremely poor representation of the business that my family has used for over 2 years. And with it coming from the owner himself, it only shows me that his care for his customer's and their pets stops after they check out.

This is absolutely the worst place ever! Poor customer service. Nothing was done for my dog and they still tried charge me. The staff was unprofessional and cursed at me. When I took my baby home she whimpered and cried whole way home. I don’t know what they did to my dog but please DO NOT take your pets here!

I took my toy poodle to get a shampoo and trim of a teddy bear style and came back to pick her up and she was saved all down. When I place the appointment I asked for a trim... when I dropped her off I also told the front desk girl. The groomer said it was a miscommunication but it was listed on her paper at the front

This was our first time at 4Paws and it definitely won't be our last. Tara gave Kaiser the best haircut he has EVER had in his two years. My little sondog looked amazing when I came home from work Yesterday. I was so happy to see him looking the way I have always wanted him to look after his grooming appointments. My heart was just overjoyed to see his curl pattern looking so well and to see that she didn't just go for the typical skinned shaved look. He looks like the bougie poodle that he is! THANKS TARA, YOU'RE ARE TRULY TALENTED!!

I took my two dogs to self wash and had a most disappointing experience. The employee on duty was not friendly. The customer self serve wash basins have decreased in number from 4 to 1. There was one apron for customers to use. The shampoo for customers to use was basically water. My dogs don't smell any better, just like wet dog. I have seen this business cleaner in the past (dog fur throughout the wash area, several dirty towels stacked in the drying area). Having visited for several years, this was my most disappointing experience to date and I wouldn't recommend. ***After corresponding with the owner, I understand the employee who helped us was very new. It was unfortunate the customers who bathed their dogs before us did not clean their area. I have adjusted my review to reflect the owner's willingness to make a future visit a more pleasant one. This gesture is most appreciated.

We have a very expensive Havanese and are very particular where we have him groomed. We have been using Tara at 4 paws ever since it opened and have been super pleased with the Grooming and care our dog receives at 4 paws. Tara cuts him …

I have had my pup groomed here a couple of times now and they have done an amazing job both times. The owners of this business are good people who give back to their community and really seem to love and care for animals in general.

We boarded our pup for two nights at 4 Paws. Our pup loved staying at 4 Paws and Tara is incredible with dogs. She made our pup feel like she was part of Tara’s family. 4 Paws had plenty of space, food and water to keep our pup comfortable. Thanks again!

Took my dog here recently and everything i asked them to do as my dog is very large and hairy was done perfectly - will be going back again when its time for a new cut for my furry child

I took my dog there a while back to board her for a few days and came to get her. She was covered in cuts and bleeding. It seemed like she wasn’t fed properly either. I called to complain and she said “she might have gotten in a fight with another dog we didn’t see it”. Just pitiful.

Highly recommend Tara for grooming... and this place overall. The employees care about the animals as if they were their own. The daycare is a great addition to the boarding.
