Emily, the groomer has taken care of our dogs for 8+years. She is always professional and Informative when it comes to our fur-babies. We love that she squeezes us in last minute as to the best of her ability. She is the best in town, hands down- We send everyone her way!

Dogs Best Friend has groomed my 11-month-old Australian Shepherd and she's gone to doggie daycare there. The owner Bruce and staff are all caring professionals. I recommend their services, particularly in comparison to the other dog daycare across town.

Cons: My dog comes home, and is both full of energy, and devours water like there's no tomorrow. There's no way they are getting enough water, and likely not enough exercise. My dog is high energy, so buyer beware. Having taken a tour, I'm fairly certain that there is a lot of hot air circulating, and not much of a ventilation system to keep it temperate. Pros: My dog likes going, so they are getting something right, despite the cons. Hours are very convenient with pre-open and post-close drop-off and pickup. COVID precautions are good, they will meet you at the car and walk your dog in. No hassles.

We took our golden retriever to dogs best friend for the first time a couple days ago. To my SHOCK I came and picked him up to find him shaved! On top of that the overall grooming job is a complete mess. I talked to the owner and he said he remembers taking the appointment over the phone and wrote down exactly how I wanted him groomed. He said he didn’t know why the groomer was doing this and admitted that it looks pretty rough. He offered a refund. The groomer on the other hand is terribly rude. She called me and asked me why I would want to ruin her and her career and was yelling at me over the phone.

They give my super excited and energetic pup a safe place to go and burn off the crazy every day while I go to work. She comes home happy and exhausted and that works just fine for me!

Dog's Best Friend is an absolute lifesaver. They are so accommodating, and my fur-baby Dean absolutely LOVES going. He can barely contain himself on the way in the door. They go above and beyond, and the entire staff of pooch-loving people are phenomenal. It's so convenient - I drop him off when I need to, and we are both happy!! Dean has been going since he was 16 weeks, and at 6 months now he still loves going to play with his friends!

This is where our dog goes when we leave for vacation and while she is a bit skittish in the beginning, she has a great time and comes back after being taken care of. They seem to have plenty of staff and there is a separate "quiet area" behind the front desk for dogs that prefer to be alone or away from other dogs.

Best Daycare in the Sandhills

They always take great care of our dogs. We will use them again. The dogs seem to have a good time and do not seem stressed at all when we pick them up.

I take my little guy here once a week for his bath and/kr grooming. The staff is very friendly, and my dog never seems hesitant about going. The groomer, Emily, is very skilled, and my dog looks great. Daycare and boarding is available, and the facility is clean.
