I was visiting from out of state, and my Frenchie needed surgical care. The entire staff was so kind and professional. They took such great care of my for baby. Thanks a million!!

I’ve been taking my Guinea pigs to Woodruff Road Animal Hospital for a few years now and I am so thankful for them! So many places won’t see my pets since they are considered “exotic”, but WRAH has been so accommodating and helpful with my little friends. When one of my Guinea pigs needed to have surgery they actually referred me out to a vet in Spartanburg for the procedure because it was something they don’t do often. I appreciated that WRAH was willing to send their business somewhere else to make sure the Guinea pig got the attention needed. For everything else that my Guinea pigs have gone through, they have been absolutely fantastic to work with. I am so thankful for them and their knowledge of and care for small animals!

I recently moved to South Carolina from Michigan, and picking a new vet was difficult because I loved our old vet service so much. HOWEVER, the services and care at Woodruff Road Animal Hospital is matched if not more. They are always so sweet to my crazy lover girl Phoebe (pit bull mix), have great communication with their customers via phone call, texting, or in person, and respect their patients and owners choices. The only downfall is that this vet clinic is a little more expensive, but is worth it for the amazing staff and top tier care. In my mind, pets are family, and keeping my pet safe and happy is priceless. Additionally, they provide grooming services and pet boarding which is amazing because all of my pets care can be done in one place where I know my pet is not only cared for, but feels safe.

The staff were super friendly, gathered information needed, provided the diagnosis and cost before treatment to make sure we understood and were ok with everything. We also got an appointment quickly due to an injury and that was a relief.

Sandy has gone here since we adopted him. The staff is great and always courteous. It is the first time we own a dog so I don't know how much vet costs should be. He is worth keeping healthy!

I’ve lived in Greenville for almost a decade and would highly recommend taking your Pets here over others. I took my cat here because I needed to get her Vaccinations done before taking her to get boarded and the Vet I go to isn’t open on the Weekends. I also wanted a second opinion on the pain she was “experiencing” in her teeth. The first thing I liked was the option to come in and actually get to see and talk to the Vet about my cats health. The facility was very clean and the staff were helpful. The previous place I went to told me my Cat was experiencing a lot of pain from her teeth. They advised me that if I wanted I could schedule surgery to have her teeth removed for a staggering amount of money. They said surgery wasn’t necessary as far as her living but she would be in discomfort if her teeth weren’t removed. Now fast forward a few months later. I informed the nurse of the pain her teeth were causing her and naturally she passed that info along. After they administered the vaccines the Dr. came by to speak with me and my girlfriend. He was very knowledgeable and went on to tell us that she wasn’t experiencing any pain at all. He opened her mouth and showed us that her teeth were fine and if there was any pain she would’ve tried to claw/bite at him when he gently touched them. I couldn’t believe my previous Vet was trying to tell me she needed Surgery that cost thousands of dollars when there was nothing wrong with them! I’m so happy I took my cat here! They saved my cat from surgery she didn’t need and the thousands of dollars it would’ve cost to remove her teeth! He went on to say that he wouldn’t even recommend us getting her teeth cleaned there! They are as honest and as professional as you can get. I’m grateful to have found this place and wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to anyone.

Making our initial appointment was easy, the office followed up quickly with a phone call after I sent in the initial information on line. I know that we need to be careful because of COVID, and I am in a vulnerable group (over 65, asthma), BUT we had been to three new veterinary clinics since we moved to Simpsonville 6 months ago because Bentley needed a new vet, needed a specialist to examine his eyes, and needed papers to travel to France. None of those three practices really was interested in getting to know Bentley or us and our needs the way Woodruff was. Furthermore, first impressions are important, I was asked if I wanted to come in or if I wanted to stay outside (the only vet to do so), and asked to come in so that I could get a sense of the practice. The office was spotlessly clean (it was even being mopped!), it was quiet, we weren't rushed, and both the tech and the vet were very thorough and careful in dealing with Bentley. He's. an excellent patient, but being a dog, his hearing is sensitive, he's small, his back hurts sometimes, he doesn't see that well any. more, and he can get a bit nervous around strangers. Your tech asked specifically how to approach him, she asked a lot of questions about him, his care, his history, & etc., and she listened carefully to the answers and followed up on them. Then the vet picked up on that information and also spent time with us.. I was very impressed and very happy. You are now our regular vet -- except for the. part about not doing travel papers . . .

They cared for my pup for the past three and a half years, and have always provided outstanding care. Highly recommend.

Both the vet and tech were so kind with my hamster . They really looked into what was wrong with him and they sent out a skin test - it’s hard to find vet care for hamsters so I am very lucky ???? !!! And they handled Kakashi with gentle concern. I felt like they understood and had knowledge about hamsters enough to trust them to treat him .

Very good with our dog prince. They tell you exactly what the dog needs.

It saddens me to leave a bad review. Unfortunately, my experiences coincide with other dissatisfied customers. Every time I have set up an appointment, I have asked for a quote of how much the services will cost, but the price significantly increases when it is time to check out and pay. There has never been a time where this has not been my experience. The staff is excellent. They are very friendly, and my dog loves them all, but like I told the team, It's not the money that bothers me; it is simply the principle. I was told a firm price; why does it change every time when it is time to check out? It would be nice for the staff to be on the same page, mainly since they are sticking my pet with needles and conducting examinations.

Friendly and professional staff who love animals! They will take excellent care of your pets. Dr. Perzak has been taking care of our dogs for 15 years. We would not take them anywhere else!

I absolutely adore Woodruff Rd Animal Hospital. My first experience, I brought in a husky puppy with parvo. While my puppy did not survive, there is no doubt that Dr. P did everything she could for him. Just this weekend, my family found an abandoned dog, and I had Dr. P's team on the phone in less than 15 minutes. They have already seen her, started her vaccines, and even gave her a bath and trim! I know Dr. P is a vet, but I would trust her with my own life. There is also an amazing receptionist, Haley. She is always so happy and positive and goes out of her way to brighten your day.

I called to get help for Lucy, my Doberman. Haley was very friendly and helpful. She made me feel welcome and I could tell she genuinely cared. I don’t remember the assistants name or the vet that seen Lucy but both were very friendly and caring. I felt as if I had been coming here for years.
