We just moved down 3 months ago and I will tell you trying to find a trustworthy vet for me was very difficult. And then I called Holly Tree animal hospital and spoke to Jason who's the office manager if I'm not mistaken. He was very kind very considerate answered all my questions. Gave me quotes on the things I was asking about the pricing was very fair so I did bring my best friend in who happens to be also my service dog. He is also getting up there in years meaning 13 years old. When I went there I met Dr Pate I was so very very impressed with Dr Pate he spent a lot of time with us extremely kind extremely considerate extremely thorough. And the most important thing he has a very very strong moral character. We did discuss that my shepherd was older and I knew that he already had problems. Well I'm sorry to say a little over a week ago my best friend had a major stroke. And this was very early in the morning and I knew they opened up at 8:00 a.m. so I had one of my neighbors help me get him into the car we kept him warm and when I arrived I explained to Jason what was going on he told me Dr Pate was off that day but would see what he could and brought a gurney out to help us bring my best friend into one of the medical rooms. They were all so so very kind and helpful to my wife and I this was such a hard thing for us. About 40 minutes later Dr. Pate arrived personally and worked with us unfortunately I had to put my best friend to sleep the hardest thing one can do. I cannot explain or express my gratitude to all that were involved especially to Dr. Pate and Jason. But it's not fair for me not to express my gratitude to all the people in the office they are all such kind caring considerate people. I know I will probably be getting another service dog and of course this will be my hospital that I will go to and Dr. Pate will be my veterinarian. If I could give this place 10 Stars I would give it in a heartbeat. This was a very stressful time for us and they made it as easy as possible for the unacceptable I say unacceptable it's always to me unacceptable to lose one's best friend especially when he was involved in saving my life several times. I also know if just for today let me accept the unacceptable. With their help it made it a lot easier and all I can say is thank you to all and Holly Tree Animal Hospital

Holly Tree has been our vet for about 5 years. They have always been very fair and honest with us for both of our dogs. Today, we unfortunately had to put down our ten year old dog; Dr. Aaron was so professional and compassionate. He walked us through all of our options and possible outcomes. I really appreciate him treating us as he did in a very difficult time for my family. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We just moved down to the area from a different state and finding a good veterinarian was important for us for a German Shepherd as we consider him part of our family. It's been a lot of time doing research on different veterinarians reading a lot of reviews. I probably called about 8 or 10 of them in many right off the bat I could tell either we're way overpriced or wasn't the type of relationship I was looking for. Then I called holly tree animal hospital and the person I spoke to was Jason extremely kind caring person spent a lot of time with me on the phone answering my numerous questions. After speaking with him and reading all the good reviews I realized I wanted to give them a try. Made the appointment and I was told when we get there call them which I did in a very kind receptionist by the name of Heather answered and told me to just wait outside and they'd be out shortly. In a very short time very nice technician named Jessica came out and brought me in my shepherd into the room. She spent quite a bit of time asking a lot of questions and being very considerate and kind. I felt very comfortable at this place. Then the doctor came in his name is Dr Pate and he did a thorough exam and I was very very impressed with the amount of time he spent with both of us most places rush you in and out he made sure that he understood all the issues with my 12-year-old Shepherd and did not try to push unnecessary routines and procedures on us. I'm very grateful that I made this is the choice for our veterinarian service. Anybody looking for a new vet I surely would give them a try I was very happy with all the attention and all the personnel in there are so kind and considerate not just to me but more importantly to my four-legged family member. To all of you at holly tree I thank you for all your kindness consideration and excellent work.

It has been a bit of time since we lost our cat so I feel level headed in writing this. If your cat is sick, has diabetes, or has any other related medical condition, please find somewhere else to seek care. The ER vets who took care of our cat for a week in the ICU before he passed informed us of the poor medical advice and missed diagnosis we received prior to him being admitted. For 6 months after his initial diagnosis here, we struggled with controlling his diabetes at home with insulin shots, home testing (which was not recommended by the vet but we did anyways and potentially saved him from going into hypoglycemia at home) and closely monitoring him all day. After several conversations and additional visits for advice and testing to help him get better, we did not know that he was just too sick. Our cat should not have died if we had been given the proper guidance to manage his diabetes and if we knew his other medical issues. We look to our vets for expertise. His life was cut too short, and we would have done anything to still have him here with us.

Great vet, let our family take all the time we needed saying goodbye to our Sadie dog. They even gave us two of the paw print molds since I don’t live at home.

If it were possible to give them less than one star, I would. In my humble opinion, this is one of those get-them in, get-them out and who is next production line vet. operation, where bottom line profitability drives, dedicates and controls the level, quality of service provided. In my experience, pet insurance was a poor choice, their prices were high, their level of expertise questionable, and their service mediocre, to say the best. I guess you just have to expect that from an operation where no one has any skin in the game other than a paycheck or some numbers to meet for that next bonus. There is a level of care that I am willing to pay for, and have become accustomed to from my vets, but, unfortunately you just don't get it here.

Met the new doctor at this practice. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable. He has a passion for animals and it showed. Took his time, explained everything and gave options with no pressure. I think he is a perfect fit to an already great practice. The vet tech was our usual guy and he was awesome, as usual. Vet tech remembered us and was so good with our dog. He really helped keep her calm.

Would not help me with my 11 year old dachshund with known back issue. Since they had not seen her for that specific issue before they would not give me at least med to get us through the weekend until I could get her in for an appointment. They advised I take her to emergency vet even though I had spent time and money at their office for her regular appt earlier that month. They also would not help me with prescriptions for heart guard meds and made the process unnecessarily inconvenient. Too expensive for too little care...

Love this practice and their doctors! They treat your animals like they are their own and always provide you with multiple options. The newest addition Dr. Pate was awesome with my little guy and thoroughly explained everything to me even taking time to show me his xrays when I came to pick him up. Great clinic!

Absolutely love Holly Tree. We've have been coming to them for years now. Everyone is so friendly and professional. They have been great with all of our animals. Always recommend them to anyone who asks about a great vet in the area.

Let me start by saying Dr Shrum (owner) is an excellent vet and is very friendly. However, his receptionist(s) have proven to be less than accommodating and are generally very unhelpful. As they are the “gatekeepers” of the business and are paid to be courteous and accommodating to customers, it is very disappointing when they do not try to accommodate your (reasonable) needs and instead just tell you “No, we can’t help.” Due to this, I decided to use another vet in the area that proved to be much more accommodating and understanding when problems have arise with my dog.
