The best vets around!! When my dog had an emergency they were at the door when I pulled up.

Wow. The red headed lady at the front desk was very very rude when bringing in a cat close to death. Not professional at all, EXTREMELY rude.

So happy with our early morning visit for Miss Chloe. The staff was very compassionate as my senior Chihuahua had not felt well for 2-3 days. We are new to the area and had to find a hospital before she became dehydrated. Best experience I could ask for. Even better that they listened to my concerns and did not insist on expense tests. She received the treatment we needed and the cost was very reasonable, considering it was during emergency hours. GREAT experience with Sarah and Dr. Moland.

They were all amazing as I had to put my 17 year old down . They made it very comforting for us ❤

Dr. Arnett is amazing. They fit my dog Meach in the last minute due to a toothache. (Multiple teeth ... ugh) He's 12 years old so I was a little worried. They were able to fit him in for emergency surgery within 2 days. Meach is feeling so much better! They also know and greet him by name. The entire staff is always super friendly and excited to see us. We really enjoy going there. Thank you!t

This was a emergency situation but couldn’t get a appointment till 10:30pm was not happy waiting all day and then got a call saying there may be a 4-6 hrs wait I was like WHAT? I decided to keep my appointment and I am so glad I did, we got right in and they were so nice Kat came in so sweet and caring. Then the Vet came Dr. Cavanaugh was great! Thank you for all you both did for Josh. I will definitely go back if need be.

I have been using VCA for several years and have had good experiences in the past. My rottie has been going there since he was 8 weeks old he is now 3. My yorkie has been going there until this past June when they had to put her to sleep. I recently got a puppy and made an appointment 2 weeks ago for the end of this month. I receive a TEXT today stating my appointment is cancelled and there are no further appointments and Id be put on a cancellation list. I called to express that the pup needs to be seen and was told "Its not our fault the dr is sick" Mind you my appointment isn't until Oct 29th. I told her I would have to find a vet to take him to because he really needs to be seen and the response was "That's fine" like it didn't even matter to her at all!! Very disappointed in the customer service that has been provided and lack or care and concern. Now I will be forced to try to find another vet to take both of my dogs to because the lady Maria/Marie clearly didn't care. I have spent THOUSANDS with them and to be blown off when my pup is in need is a terrible feeling.

I would absolutely not bring my pet here. My dog was dying in my arms and they told me they wouldn’t take me. They were very rude and not caring whatsoever. Their supposed to be a hospital to help. Instead they would rather just let your animal die. I’ve never been more upset with a place in my life. Luckily I was able to make it to another hospital in time and save my Bella.

excellent place took my cat here who can be very difficult to deal with. They went out of there way to deal with her. I would highly recommend this place, I can't say enough about how great the all were. Thank you all so very much.

Have been almost a dozen times now throughout the years; unfortunately when one of my babies has to be put down... Excellent people in my darkest hour. Absolutely adore the small clay paw print they make for you with your baby's name.

I have to say, Tracy went above and beyond to help me and my Cali girl. She had welts all over her body. Called at 730 am and they weren't able to get me in until late tonight so she went and called other places for me and got me an appt somewhere. She then called me a few hours later to check on Cali and to see how she did. I am floored at the customer service. I then booked with VCA for their annuals and will be using them there from now on. Highly recommend. I haven't seen service like this in a LONG time so thank you and I appreciate you do much!

I had to take in my newly adopted puppy to VCA Palmetto due to her being positive for the Parvo virus. The doctors and vet techs did an amazing job at keeping her strong and comfortable for three days so that she could fight the virus. The staff was very clear on the treatment plan the expected cost and potential outcomes. They were very responsive and even took calls from me into the wee hours of the morning to get a status update on Esme. After her release they continued to take my calls with follow up questions I had as Esme recovered from home in quarantine. It was obvious that Dr. Berger-Bishop and the rest of the staff cared about my pup. Now Esme is fully recovered and we have VCA Palmetto to thank for that outcome.

We had an emergency with my dog being bit by a venomous snake late at night and didn’t know what to do. We called VCA and they immediately got us in the door and took our pup in. They educated us, kept us updated and gave us a plan to help get him back to good health. Dr. Wesselman was very down to earth and helpful! Alicia and abbey (I believe) were also incredible! Cost was going to be hard for us but they worked with us and saved us so much stress and money, and now our pup is on the road to recovery. Extremely grateful for these people!

Fantastic staff and place! This was my first time at this emergency vet. Everyone was genuinely nice. They were patient and answered all questions. They made you feel welcome. The facility is up to date, nice, and clean. Definitely recommend.

I would like to share my experience in order to save another pet owner from having to go through what I did with my cat. Let me first say, I had always heard horror stories about this place, but the other animal hospital was closed so I felt I had no other options. Upon arriving at VCA, we knew my cat had a UTI and blockage. His regular vet referred us to emergency hospital to unblock him. They checked him and said he was not blocked although my regular vet confirmed he was not even an hour prior. Then, they took him back and was told they were getting a urine sample. I was okay with this because he had them taken before at his regular vet with a catheter with no problem. When they brought him back he was wobbling around and couldn’t stand up and crying out in pain. They walked out of the room and I started calling for them to come back and help my cat. I asked them what happened because he never had this reaction with a urine sample before. The vet said it’s probably from the needle we put in his bladder. I was literally in shock as they did not tell me this was what they were doing. Then, the vet said some cats even pass out from the procedure. As I sat crying with my cat, she asked if I would like him to have pain meds. I said of course I do. She wanted to confirm the price was okay before administering the medication. This was sickening to me because at this point, I would have done anything to help my cat and to think all she was concerned about was the money. I spent quite a large amount of money on vet bill and prescription food they put him on and by the next day he still had not urinated. So, I took him to vet hospital in Mt Pleasant, SC where he stayed for several days and had to get surgery. They also told me he was blocked as did my regular vet. I got my cat home a few days ago and he’s doing well. They exceeded my expectations. I got low on the prescription food he was originally put on from VCA so I went on chewy.com to place an order for the food. This is also the food the vet in Mt Pleasant had been giving him. I called VCA to ask to put a rush on it since UTI’s for male cats are considered life threatening. They told me they could make no guarantees when it would get done and they would get to it when they get to it. I called Mt Pleasant to approve and they did the same day. My point is, if you find yourself in a desperate situation with your pet, please scope out all your options. We do have another excellent emergency hospital locally on Beaver Run Road but unfortunately they are not open 24/7. Research people do your research. This is a well lesson learned for me. If I could give no stars I would, but had to give 1 to leave this review.

Called and kept me updated on their ability to get my dog in due to other emergencies. Once we saw the vet she was very friendly and made me and my dog comfortable. We are very thankful for the great service when our dog was sick on vacation and so far from our regular vet.

Have used this vet for emergency on 2 different occasions and both times we recieved outstanding service. They cared for my labrador like he was their own. Dr. Wesselman is amazing!!!!

We needed an appointment for our puppy’s acute illness while on vacation. We got an appointment the same morning and received wonderful care. All of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

I was out of town and my dog needed to see a vet right away. They got me in the same day and were very kind and professional. When I needed a referral the following week for specialist to ultimately fix the problem, they were super responsive and got it in asap.

Went to make appointment and would not even look or give one and said call back in a month

They were so kind, comforting, compassionate when my Bubbles became ill and we had no other choice to put her to rest. I just received their sympathy card with a hand written note from the vet, Dr. Bishop. Huge thanks to them for everything.

ABBIE is amazing!!! She understands how much animal's lives matter! She really helped me so much and she was so polite, kind, genuine, and smart, she knew exactly what was wrong with my puppy and she assessed the situation so professionally. She is the type of person who I would trust 100% to take care of my puppy! I just recently adopted a puppy, so she hasn't been to a vet yet. My pup was choking and hacking up a treat that she wasn't supposed to swallow! I called VCA Palmetto Animal Hospital at 2 AM and Abbie was there to help me and boy she really did! She didn't sugar coat anything which is something I appreciate, and she was human with me. It felt like She loves my baby as much as I do! I felt like I was talking with a friend because we talked for a while and everything ended up A OK! This is the place to call when you need help! Thank you Abbie!!

Take good care of our dogs, but need to stay on schedule. I'm waiting in a hot car for 50 minutes and counting and just got a call to ok testing. That's NOT ok.

Brought my small dog here while visiting for an emergency appointment, and I could not be more impressed. They scheduled me for a Sunday morning appointment right away when I called, and every single person was so helpful and professional. The doctor called me with options and a detailed treatment plan to help my dog feel better. She explained everything very clearly and had such a positive attitude that I immediately felt at ease about my dog’s situation. Highly recommend!!

We were in town for a short visit and came to this clinic during the middle of the night when our small dog had an emergency. Dr. Wesselman and the night clinic staff were incredibly kind, understanding, and professional through our experience, giving us our options for treatment and their recommendations without pressuring us. The cost of the visit and prescriptions was exceptionally fair for an emergency clinic and definitely worth the quality and professionalism. We called the clinic later that day when our dog began presenting concerning symptoms we worried were side effects of the medication prescribed, and they scheduled us in immediately at no extra charge. Dr. Moland and the day clinic staff were also incredibly kind and understanding. She explained the symptoms and again offered her recommendations, which we were glad to take. Overall, we had an excellent experience with the staff and veterinarians here. They were professional and caring, as well as very friendly and reassuring, and they made what would have been an otherwise highly distressing event manageable for us. Would highly recommend.
