Dr Anderson is very caring and listens to crazy pet mom! Staff very nice a d doesnt seem over crowded where dogs are on top of each other like some other places I have been! Highly recommend.

staff and doctor were great, very professional, genuinely cared for my baby(dog). staff bent over backwards for me as did the doctor and i greatly appreciated that. was recommended to them and there great. Dave w and Jodie girl. dec 21 had Jodie's teeth cleaned worth every penny she has pearly whites again.

Always fast and friendly! Staff always makes sure I understand what to do post visit, if necessary, or what they have found/done during my dog's visits. I have 2 dogs and won't go anywhere else for their care!

Wow! Dr. Dean Anderson is amazing. Our 10 year old girl had a torn ACL. He did the lateral suture on her leg 6 months ago. Before the surgery, she refused to put any weight on her leg and we had to carry her up and down the stairs. Now, 6 months later, she's running! Full weight bearing and going up the stairs all by herself! It was a tough recovery but it was worth it. Highly recommend Dr. Dean Anderson and his services. He's very professional and very easy to talk with. 100% worth every penny. Thank you so so very much. She's acting like she's 5 again!

They were kind and very sympathetic and patient with us as we had to have our baby of 18 years put to sleep. They had him cremated for us . put him in a beautiful box. We got his paw print with a beautiful verse attached to it. We have his death certificate and a beautiful card that everyone there signed. I recommend them to anyone.

Both Drs are very caring. Wouldn't take our pets anywhere else.

I have in the past had an excellent experience with them. Unfortunately, moved to NC and we had to get another vet. We are now back with our new baby and yesterday was our 3rd visit with Norman. It’s by far the best place I have ever taken my little family members. So thankful!

I can't share enough about Grand Strand Animal Hospital. I brought my pup Buster there after he fell ill and they did everything they could for him. they were compassionate, thorough and would like to recommend them to anyone in need. They made our last few hours together wonderful. Not rushing me to leave just letting me have our time together. I wish more Vets were as wonderful again. Thank you Grand Strand Animal Hospital for a great experience at a really hard time.

First time there for new rescue dog...not impressed at all. 40 minute wait past my appt time. Tried to call to find out how long it would be and was immediately put on hold and left there. Never came back to phone. Got her weight wrong. Had them weigh her again and 3 pounds difference. Barely spent 2 seconds with her then gave her a shot and sent me out the door. Let her fall off the table. Suggested teeth cleaning at over $400. Since they treated her before I got her, I thought they would be best for her and able to give me some insight. I got nothing. All of this cost me $100. I'll be looking for a new vet!

We move down to Myrtle Beach but over a month ago. We have not found a place yet so we have been staying at various airbnb's, hotels and resorts. Many places do not allow pets so we have had to have a sitter for our dog most of the time. During one of her stays with the sitter she took off running and was hit by a car. Our Kloie didn't make it. The employees at grandstand Animal Hospital we're absolutely wonderful and preserving her remains and providing my daughter with her paw print along with sympathy cards signed by every employee which was very touching. I really appreciate your kindness during this difficult time.

I’m a new dog owner and feel a bit naive on health matters with my dog Jupiter. I trusted these guys because they had 5 stars and I honestly didn’t know how else to base my decision. I got her first sets of shots here and her dewormed at first. Once we gained a new kitten family member I brought both of them in since I was concerned about Jupiter’s health given the kitten was in rough shape (he was a stray.) I paid $40(45? I don’t remember) for Jupiter’s exam which is average and I’m not a professional but it was very superficial. I thought he wasn’t thorough with her but didn’t want to impose my uneducated and bias feelings on the situation and embarrass myself. The kitten had fleas and worms which I mentioned I was concerned about Jupiter having worms since she had been licking and caring for the kitten. When I mentioned this to him he made a kind of face like “yikes” and said nothing further on the point so I uncomfortably trusted that I was just worrying too much. She also had little patches of fur missing which I thought could have been the dog park but come to find out (with no help from my $40 doctor visit) she had fleas the whole time and he didn’t even notice. I was really hoping I’d get lucky with a great vet the first time around but I am just very disappointed and could have done a better job than what they did honestly and I regret giving the benefit of the doubt. The most hurtful thing and the reason I’m leaving this review is because I called to express my feelings on the matter in a respectful way (I told her I wanted them to know why I was taking Jupiter elsewhere so they could hopefully improve to help families better in the future) and she was trying to rush me off the phone and wasn’t listening to a word I said. Whether she had an emergency or not I can’t comment on(though that is not what I got from her tone or our short exchange). Regardless she could have had the sensitivity to take a message and perhaps have someone more capable call me back. I felt that they did the bare minimum and I hope it weighs on their conscience to know they are putting other fur babies at risk and are profiting off the ones they allow to leave their office sick due to their negligence and avoidance of accountability.

I can’t recommend this place enough! We are so lucky to have such an amazing vet to take our pup bubba to. The staff is always friendly and kind. They treat bubba like their own. We are so thankful for Dr. Anderson and the rest of the staff. Thank you guys for taking such good care of bubba!

Had my 2 little ones there for the first time yesterday. The tech Kristen was lovely, listened to my concerns and questions. Dr Swallow was great, they both took time with me, the dogs got an excellent checkup and all their shots and I left there with 2 healthy dogs.

They are great! So kind and the prices are great.My cat Bubba was having a hard time going to the bathroom.Gave me meds and fixed the problem .I am new to the area but don't have to look any further for a vet Thanks guys

I took my blue heeler (Blue) in because of severe itching and chewing. I was very scared bc my dog is very aggressive towards other dogs. The team accommodated Blue and kept him at ease through the entire visit. I never leave reviews but this time I had to because I was so impressed with their the level of care and how smooth this visit went. I did not feel rushed and they actually explained everything to me. We had actual conversations and I felt like I was dealing with people that care... I highly recommend using this office!!

We decided it was time to assist our beloved dog cross the rainbow bridge. As hard of a decision as this was, the staff and doctor were absolutely wonderful. They explained every step and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. They handled all the arrangements for the cremation. Their support made this heartbreaking situation smooth and a little less painful. I recommend Grand Strand Animal for all your pets needs whether they are big or small, young or old. They will love and support your babies until the very end.

The Vet seemed Great, down to Earth and very knowledgeable. The staff were extremely pleasant & easy to deal with. I just felt test were done that weren't needed. Padding our bill.

Dr. Anderson is amazing and took care of my Doberman better than anybody ever has. We will definitely be going here from now on and I highly recommend this vet to anyone.

Dr Anderson is wonderful! We had used Petco to keep our Daisy up to date on vaccines since retiring here. But something happened 12 days ago, couldn’t figure it out, called 6 vets but no one had openings for a new urgent visit. But one recommended I call Grand Strand Animal Hospital. He did a thorough exam…prescribed some meds and Daisy is doing much better. Staff is great! Very reasonable price for services! Already recommended Dr Anderson to two friends!
