I love this place. Staff is phenomenal!

I’m new to the south and I planned a trip to go back to Long Island for a week. Every place my family recommended for boarding my dog was already booked for the holidays. I called Ziggy’s and told them how anxious and concerned I was about leaving my dog in a place I don’t know. The staff all seemed great when chatting with them and planning my dogs stay. As advertised they have these “suites” with a tv and they allow you to bring things from home so they feel more safe. I booked a “luxury suite” and brought his blanket, two toys, and his bed from home. I physically wrote out details and specifications for his stay. I got picture updates and a few emails about his stay which did make me feel a bit at ease. What I am saddened by and slightly terrified about is when I went to get my dog on (Jan 2, 2022), the lady brought me back to a room where my dog was tangled in a lose leash, NO TV in this luxury suite, and he was NOT using his bed from home. He didn’t have his blanket nor all of the things I provided to them FOR HIM. I recorded his reaction and he looked petrified. He growled at me out of being so nervous and the lady told me that he was skiddish when it came to leashing him. Meanwhile no one ever told me this every day that I checked in. I’m honestly so saddened by what I saw and heard. It’s as if what I paid for wasn’t actually true. To me it was false advertising. It’s sad because they seemed really nice. It’s unfortunate. I gave this place a three because at least I got my dog back safe and sound.

I moved to MP thirty years ago. I’ve had other groomers in MP over the years. Ziggy’s is the best grooming and boarding salon for my dogs since they opened. I’ve had three dogs go to Ziggy’s. Sadly, two passed in the last four years, and they were over 14! Ziggy’s is wonderful with the Senior pups. My pups who went to “Camp” aka boarding (longest five weeks) came home better than they went in! The staff are animal lovers! MaggieMae my 8 yo DoxiPoo is going for a second summer cut soon.

Ashley is Awesome!! I'm so glad i found her. I started out with 3 dogs with her now it's just Kalee. The other 2 passed away and i can say Ashley has been so great with them from the start!!

Staff is EXTREMELY friendly! My lab (Dixie) is very skittish around new places, at Ziggy's they take pride in keeping your pets comfortable. Dixie always perks up when I ask her if she wants to go get goomed now lol 100% trust the staff and I highly recommend them to anyone

So glad to see Ziggy’s came in second for best Mount Pleasant groomer. We’re new to the area, & decided to give them a try without a referral. We couldn’t be happier with their grooming & boarding services. Lisa is excellent with standard poodles. We have since referred to our new neighbors as well.

I could not be more thankful for this place. I’m proud our community has a business like this. I rescued a terrified puppy mill dog yesterday that had never been brushed- hair matted down to its skin, malodorous, anxious, completely unsocialized. On neighborhood recommendation, I called Ziggys this morning (on a Sunday) and by chance someone answered. Even though they don’t normally work Sundays, they said to please bring the dog in that day and they would groom her for free because they are passionate about animal rescue. They were so patient and kind and spent 3 hours grooming her for FREE in the middle of COVID!! God bless these people.

As a first time visitor I am utterly impressed. We just adopted our first dog that needs grooming. Gigi’s scared and skittish but Lori is calm and reassuring. In short, she’s utterly amazing!!! We will definitely be asking for her each time we return. I got back a whole new pupper.

I have been taking my dog to Ziggy's for two years. This week I took her and asked them as I did the two previous times not to cut her so short. I didn't want a summer cut. When I picked her up she had a summer cut and it was jagged by her jaw line. Her legs have strands of hair longer than most of the cut hair. Her toe nails have jagged pieces and are sharp. IT IS THE WORST EVER and after I calmed down, I called and had to leave a message that I was unhappy because they didn't groom her as I asked and for the price (had to tip before I saw her - COVID rules they bring the dog out to your car) it was a great disappointment. I was upset and disappointed but not ugly at all. They have not returned my call to date and I have been their loyal customer for two years. For the price and the quality I have received this last time, I would not recommend them nor will I ever use their services.

They stay long hours (longer than most places we've encountered) with the dogs that are staying overnight and all of the staff we met seemed to genuinely love the pups.

My wife Maria and I can’t thank Kristin enough. We had to visit our family even though we knew our almost 16 year old Yorkie wasn’t doing great due to kidney failure. Not only did Kristin and her staff take great care of our dog Sabrina while we are gone, but she personally called us when our Sabrina’s kidneys started shutting down. She then rushed her to the vet for us. We can’t thank Kristin enough, not many kennels would have done what she did and we are forever thankful.

I'm the owner of Dog Training Now-Charleston and I happen to share the same strip mall as Ziggy's. I have been using Ziggy's for years now for grooming my dogs and boarding them. Being in the same industry, I am incredibly particular about who I leave my dogs with. I would recommend Ziggy's to any of my clients without hesitation. They pay close attention to detail, and they also treat my dogs as if they were their own, which is incredibly important to me. They have a friendly staff, clean facility, and clearly have a passion for what they do! I feel so lucky to have found them! They have earned my 5 stars! Thank you Ziggy's!

Ziggys is the best dog and animal grooming parlor, sheltor( boarding) business in Mt Pleasant if not all of Charleston, she and her staff truly care and love what they do and I should know I have been there from the very beginning they love animals and with tenderness ,patience, they accomplish a bond between animal care and love , trust and respect you will find no other buisness in town that will come close to what ziggys gives to her clients and animals that she loves so dearly

First visit for dog grooming and I can't say enough nice things about Lauren!! Very impressed with her work. My dog looks fabulous and he came out happy! Thank you Ziggy's & Lauren for giving my pet such a great experience!!!

Have been using them for years!

We just brought our 10 yr old dog Max here for the first time. We love how he looks, one of his best grooming jobs ever, they did an awesome job!! Max also seemed to enjoy the experience, and came out as happy as could be!!????
