Dr. DeHaan is a very competent and knowledgeable holistic veterinarian. My female cat has been receiving a I.V. for her kidney issues daily for the last 4 years. Dr. DeHaan has started her on natural remedies that has changed her life. Her I.V's are now every other day. Her appetite has greatly improved, and her energy has increased. P With great promise Dr. DeHaan intends to lessen her I.V's to one a week to no I.V.'s at all. I would highly recommend Dr. DeHaan to anyone who prefers a holistic approach to care for their animals.

I have several animals who are still alive because of Dr. DeHaan. He is often able to help them where western medicine fails. I have a cat who was blocked twice and unable to urinate. Our specialist vets here in Southwest Florida highly recommended PU surgery if he blocked a third time. We consulted with Dr. DeHaan and (knock on wood) he has been good for a couple years now. We previously lost a cat after PU surgery before we knew about Dr. D and I firmly believe that had we been able to treat that cat before the surgery, he would likely be alive today. He also helped another cat with idiopathic cystitis and she hasn't had a recurrence since. One of my Dobermans has very high alk phos levels that our regular vet couldn't bring down. Within a month of being treated with Dr. D's specially formulted liquid (drops on her gums), her numbers had returned to normal. Most recently my other Doberman was tested and diagnosed with kidney disease. My regular vet said she would always consume a lot of water and urinate frequently (often in the afternoon it was every 15 minutes). After a dietary change recommended by Dr. D and specially formulated drops that give additional support to the kidneys, she is drinking normally and I don't have to take the water bowl up. She also urinates much less often. Her life (and ours) is greatly improved because of it. When we did a urine recheck, her regular vet was shocked that her numbers improved; he said they almost never improved...then he wrote down Dr. D's info. I trust him to help my animals whenever it's needed. I'm SO grateful to have found him! (He came as a referral from a specialist vet in the area when he cured what was otherwise incurable cancer in a client's dog)

The DeHaan's are absolutely wonderful at the services they provide. Roger has seen 2 of my birds and my dog. Wonderful veterinarian.

I used to take my dogs to him and he was fantastic with them. One dog had bad allergies to many foods and he helped me find what I could give him. And now we have moved out of state and have gotten a kitten and I still call him for his advice over going to a "normal" vet. Love this man and his work!
