I brought my Goldendoodle here for care and called for updates only received one answer during his four day stay. The lady told me he was out playing with other dogs while he was in the cage by himself. Mind you we were stuck in VA traffic for 48 hours prior To me bringing him so him stuck in the cage is the last thing I wanted. When brought to their attention when I picked him up I was given excuses as to why he was the only dog in the cage

As always, the team here did great and my dog loved it there. They play with him a lot, he slept for like 2 days after we got him home.

New management, great service and it's clear they care for all the animals ????. Our pup had a fantastic first day ????????????. It's also nice having access to the webcams and being able to check in from time to time.

We had to get my rescue dog groomed (for the first time in his life) and Mary was so sweet and took care of him and really made our reactive dog comfortable! now he looks so handsome! We will definitely be coming back!

Couldn’t recommend a better place to trust your dogs. My two siberians get so excited to go play at pet paradise and the staff treats them like royalty.

So disappointed in this pet paradise. To many problems to mention. I will not take my dogs back here. Never got a return phone call.

Wish I could rate the daycare separate from the vet. 5 stars for Dr. Gale and her wonderful team. They are a compassionate group of people who love animals and it shows! I have brought my baby boy cat in here to get fixed and then for an infection he had. The whole appointment he was purring up a storm and flirting with everyone. I plan to bring my other cat and dog in for their annual checkup and shots. I'm not sure what to rate the doggie daycare at this facility. Prior to moving, I brought my pup to the Matthews Pet Paradise where I could often see her on the livestream and she came home absolutely exhausted. At the Ballantyne location, I have never been able to see her on any of the cameras and she doesn't come home tired. Another concerning thing is that I was told that she's put in a kennel on a regular basis which really irritates me because I'm paying so she can socialize and play. After reading some of the other reviews, I'm not sure I will be bringing her back to this location for daycare.

Nice staff. Minimal outdoor play space for dogs. Indoor pool and play space for dogs.

Terrible boarding and daycare experience at this facility. I boarded my dog for 17 days and when I picked her up she had a very bad allergy. She had bruises on her right ear. No one called me about her condition and frankly I think no one noticed it. When I asked the front desk about her stay, they said everything was fine. I took her to the vet immediately and this is the second time I had to take her to the vet after picking her up from Pet Paradise. Last time she had their house ice-cream and got a very bad diarrhoea which lasted 7 days. I also doubt if she got the playtime everyday, I couldn’t spot her on webcam for days in row. I am not bringing my dog back to this facility.

When I dropped my dog off for her third experience at the Ballantyne location, she was uncharacteristically clingy and did not want to be brought to the back. I chalked it up to separation anxiety but it was enough to make me make a point of reviewing their camera footage frequently throughout the day. My dog was not in a playgroup for over 5 hours (and placed in a cage for the first part of the only play experience she did receive). When I called to make sure everything was okay, I was told she was out one time "and we think one other time". When I got her home, she was extremely energetic and required a lot of exercise in order to get her to settle down - not at all indicative of a dog who had been involved in playgroups throughout the day. However, in response to my survey expressing my concerns, a member of management emailed me with a snippy message telling me their written records indicate my dog had been out three times that day and they are sorry I "didn't get a chance to see her". I watched the cameras the entire day and this response is infuriating as it is completely dismissive of what occurred and also indicates they do not keep accurate records. On our three visits (and even our last one), I had always found the staff to be pleasant and cheerful so I was surprised by this response from management. I had also indicated in a previous survey that an update of some type - even a verbal update of how the day went while checking out - would be nice. Most facilities provide a "report card" and photos. While I do think they would not intentionally allow an animal to be harmed, I think the level of attention ends there. Update: I tried calling the corporate number that was given but there is no answer and no response to the messages I left. So, while it seemed you were interested in correcting the situation, it is now apparent your response to my original review was for show only.

Drop offis easy, special diet and pills no issue. And our doggie has tons of anxiety, the playtime he gets really helps with that. Even have an option to get him washed before we pick him up.

We took our 10 and a half year old Chocolate Lab, Cooper, up here to this beautiful facility 2 different times. Both times were for the vet clinic. The 1st time we were there, we seen the Vet, Ms. Gale, who is a compassionate caring person! She showed us the bloodwork test results and informed us that Cooper was really sick but needed attention that was beyond her expertise as she didnt have the proper equipment to help us. So she recommended we go to an Emergency Animal Hospital for further treatment. With no success at the facility she referred us to, due to being there for 5 hours waiting, not being seen and walking out, we traveled to a different facility and got outstanding immediate medical treatment. Shout out to Carolina Veterinarian Services of Rockhill SC!!! Turns out Cooper had pancreatitis and was prescribed medications for treatment, nausea, and pain! The prescriptions were only enough for 4 days and we had to get refills. We called Pet Paradise and they graciously wrote the prescriptions for the refills with no problems. Cooper started coming back around after about a week and then all of a sudden became sick again and was never able to recover. He would barely eat anything and started having more trouble getting up and moving around, therefore he lost almost all his strength to the point that he was having trouble standing to use the bathroom and would fall. After about a week of trying everything we possibly could to help him, we called Pet Paradise and scheduled an appointment that afternoon. So we get to the appointment and within minutes we were informed he was in critical condition and needed to be admitted to an Animal Hospital. But was also informed that there was a very strong probability that he would not make it, as he was in kidney and liver failure and his stomach was full of fluid. So our family came together and made the hardest decision ever, and that was to have Cooper put to sleep! Pet Paradise and their Vet Team were so compassionate and gave us all the time we needed to say our final "I Love Yous" to Cooper and would not proceed with the procedure until we, as a family, were ready. Once the procedure was done they continued to give us time to have our last moments with Cooper before we made our way out the door, with no rush! They rescheduled other appointments just so we could have this time with our beloved Cooper! They shared with us in this difficult process and gave us so much comfort during this emotional time! Shout out to Ms. Gale for her patience with us with the back and forth of "Were ready, wait, No not yets". She was so understanding of the "letting go and not ready to let gos" that we were going through as we didnt want to except "Letting Go!". Shout out to Ms. Coleen for her care, respect, patience and understanding of the fact that we were hurting inside having to let go off our 4 legged Chocolate Hershey Kiss named Cooper! I highly recommend this Animal Adventure Facility as they're not just a vet, but also have an animal boarding system for when you need to take a trip and cant carry your sweet 4 legged fur baby with you. They are also an Animal spa as well with a bone shaped pool in their facility as well! The staff is amazing, sweet and helpful for all your animal needs!

DO NOT leave your dog at this facility. My dog came home from boarding for 3 days and has injuries on every single paw. Burns and lacerations. I was told by a manager that she was ‘limping, but it seemed to go away’. No one checked her out prior to sending her home. This doesn’t even scratch the surface of the issues we had for this visit. They did not feed my dogs the food I provided, only gave them a fraction of what they typically eat (not due to being sick or anything), did not listen to instructions to keep my other dogs out of group play, Sent them home FILTHY. Im disgusted with how my dog came home. The saving grace of this facility is the veterinary office. They have been the most understanding people and we’re the most helpful in getting our girl squared away with these injuries and moving this situation up the chain. Thank you Pet Paradise VET.

I wanted to trust Pet Paradise with my GSD puppy, and I did for a couple of months but should have seen the warning signs. My dog came home with a bad cough after a few days of daycare. My vet said that she treated 3 other dogs that same week that also went to Pet Paradise. When we boarded our dog there, they failed to read our feeding instructions and underfed the dog for 5 days. A few weeks after that our dog was bit /injured (eye area) during group play by another dog. We were told that our dog tried mounting the other dog. When we asked to see the tape, we were then told our dog was about to mount, so the story changed. Their onsite vet charged me $94 to clean his injury. No compensation offered by Pet Paradise. We saw the tape and it was just one dog smelling another...they all do that but the other dog attacked, yet we were made to think our dog was the instigator until we saw the tape. After keeping our dog away from Pet Paradise for 6 weeks after the injury at their facility, we decided to let him go for one day since we had to be out of the house for several hours today. We opted for one on one play day session, (no group play), they always said it would include one hour of play with a human and a few potty breaks. After checking out the webcams several times an hour since 830am with no view of our dog., we called at 1:00pm. They said he was just about to go out and play. 45 minutes later, still no sight of the dog. We drove to pick him up. He still hadn't had any activity and from what I could tell, minimal potty breaks, if any. I won't ever leave our dog there again...not for a day, or even a few hours. I just don't think the dog will be well taken care of...its such a good looking facility but they are understaffed and may not be trained well enough to take care of these dogs who can't speak and tell us about their day....but i saw enough to know never again.

Was happy with the place in the amenities but my dog left the kennel after a week with a horrible kennel cough even after being vaccinated. I don't think they're cleaning a standards are up to par with what they should be for a doggie daycare in Ballantyne

I have always gone to the Pet Paradise airport location for 5 years & LOVED it but due to full capacity, I boarded my dog @ Pet Paradise Ballantyne & was very disappointed. The whole experience seemed very unorganized & for $53/night, I’d expect MUCH more. I have several issues that I voiced via email to the business after the stay but no response. I have also called multiple times, left 2 voicemails but have yet to hear back from anyone regarding this since June 27th. I am very frustrated about my dog’s overall stay & would like to speak with someone please

Moved into the local area and was recommended to this location per family. The Vet staff is amazing! They are very attentive and super welcoming. They understood my concers and addressed them in a caring professional manner. Fist time I've felt relief in a situation where I felt helpless for my pup and they took care of her gave her love and treats. The facility is amazing and clean smells great too! Looking fwd to boarding her when I need it. the energy made me feel like I can leave her in their care and she'll be more then happy to be there. If your in the area HIGHLY recommend

OMG, I was so apprehensive about having a new Vet, I have have been in the area a few months. So, I literally was still carrying my pet over a hour away, UNTIL now. My Fuzz, boarded there once. Then we went for shots yesterday. THE VET came out to my car after he was done. DID I mention, they came out to get him also. I love this place and the staff. I'm never going back to my old vet. He loved them.

Pet Paradise Ballantyne was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. My boys were well cared for at this facility. I enjoyed the fact they were able to see the vet and have an extended stay at the same place. Thank you Pet Paradise!

I love Pet Paradise Ballantyne. The place is very clean, the staff is very friendly and attentive to my dogs and the boarding indoor patios are very big so my dogs feel comfortable. I love how it's all indoors so weather is never a problem. Highly recommend for boarding.
