Michelle and Doctor Golf were both amazing. Michelle went out of her way to help make sure that all of our needs were met in order to give the best care for our 9 month old dog. After a short stay Doctor Golf and Michelle went above and beyond to refer us to a more fitting emergency 24 hour care facility that met our dogs needs. Will be coming back here for all normal future dog needs. Thanks again

Thumbs DOWN POOR SERVICE My dog has diabetes and they seem to want a glucose check every month that cost big time not even mentioned the meds cost of insulin twice a month Mathis is twice i have have called for his insulin refill and denied it due to a monthly check now of his glucose my dog has been going to this clinic for years and now all of a sudden more money for his check up monthly of glucose so short story no insulin for my diabetic dog they say what a joke of a place all about revenue

After leaving a horrible review the first go around, I decided to contact the doctor/owner and was impressed by the level of professionalism and sincerity that he displayed upon fixing a situation that wasn’t even his to fix. I almost let one bad apple ruin the bunch but I’m glad I didn’t. My pet was taken care of and my issues that I had with one person at the front were resolved. I’m a believer in second chances and so far so good!

I've just moved back to the area, and took my sweet girl Zoey to Cypress Lakes, as this was the vet clinic that cared for her before I moved away. Everyone in the office - from check in to check out were professional and friendly. The techs were gentle, and caring. Dr. Riddell took the time to explain every aspect of Zoey's condition with me, and discuss her plan of care. He (as well as the techs) listened, and answered all of my questions. I am so thankful to have a professional caring veterinarian office to take my pet to.

Brought my dog & cat here to get both Neutered. This was also my first visit and will be my last. I was concerned at first because of rough handling when I dropped them off. I got a call saying they were ready for pickup and the lady gave me one set of after care instructions. I come to pick them up and the lady at the desk who gave me the medicine gives me a different set of instructions and tells me something different than what the medicine label even says to do. Then another girl brings my dog and cat out they were both shoved in the same kennel with E-Collars on and my dog is whining. He was pinched in the hinge of the door. I ask the lady to please help me get him of there since he was stuck. This lady also gives me a third set of after care directions that again are completely different than the other two. My dog has been in pain since then and I have not had one return phone call yet. I finally took him to his regular vet, $324 later he has significant bruising on his back legs and hip causing him the pain. Please read the reviews before going here!

We had a 1300 appt on 22 Oct for annual physical. My husband wanted 40 minutes and a lady walked in without an appt and was taken immediately to the back (heart worm check, not an emergency). When my husband complained the receptionist said “sorry” and did nothing else. He left without being seen. Terrible customer service!

Seemed so nice there. If any of my others need to go. They will be going there. The vets asst and the vet were so comforting to my situation. My dog 17 year dachshund, Corgie, hurt his leg.

They treated my baby well and called me with updates throughout the days she was away from home for treatment while also calning my nerves and taking suggestions on how to get her to eat when she wouldn't. They worked within my budget and explained things well. I'd go back and adopt them as my regular veterinarian. They were the only ones available in the area to take us for our emergency which is definitely a bonus. I appreciate this place and this staff tremendously!

Our 4 month old puppy had to be seen this morning for an emergency visit and I was blown away by the professionalism and care taken by the vet tech, Michelle! In an unfortunate situation she made sure I understood the process for surgery and reassured me our puppy would be taken care of. Thank you for your professionalism Michelle! I left him knowing our baby was in good hands!

Great vet clinic. Just moved to the area from out of state. Got my pet in the system quickly. An easy examination and treatment given and we are on our way. Simple and easy as it should be.

Took our dog 2 weeks ago here. Had issues peeing. Dr said he had uti and prescribed medicine that we did for 2 weeks. Found cystine stones in urinalysis, so we switched his diet. Vet said they didn't see anything in the xray. During the 2 weeks dog had issues peeing, but was better with medication. Went to a different vet Friday (Riverbark on Ramsey st) and they prescribed different medication and saw something while pulling urine with catheter since they use ultrasound to figure out where they are going. Was going to do a more in depth ultrasound monday. Dog couldnt pee last night or this morning, so we rushed him to Pointview emergency hospital (suggested on Riverbark's website). They found at least 6 urine stones and 1 bladder stone in his urethra blocking the passage of urine. So, now because Cypress Lakes didnt find it our dog is being rushed into surgery now. Highly upset at Cypress Lakes for not being there to save our baby earlier.

I would like to thank Dr. Riddell and his tech/receptionist staff for performing my dogs gastropexy and neuter surgery with great care. I was extremely nervous when dropping him off and the Dr and the techs answered all my questions and made me feel more at ease. They did a great job at a good price. My dog is abnormally large and not the easiest to deal with but they never had any issues with him. Thank you everyone at Cypress Lakes :)

Not my personal vet, I work as a pet taxi, but the people were friendly and it was clean.

Nice Vet with reasonable prices

Ridiculous prices, also I saw this for profit business begging for donations online on Nextdoor like they’re a non-profit that rescues animals. I will not be returning. If they can’t afford towels, but charge hundreds or dollars something is wrong.

Not what it used to be since they changed management. They bring your pet in and don't bother taking them outside at all during the day to let them use the restroom. (This has happened twice to my family dog. Both times she was pulling to go outside to use the bathroom.) We used them for years before this so definitely disappointed.

Some people say they're expensive but I say that well worth it then your animal or who would like to be considered one of our kids has to be seen then they are a hundred percent up to par

Sadly a have to put my dog to sleep and the girl who was helping us was really nice and very compassion during that hard moment. The other girl in the front desk not to friendly but I guess she's doing her job.

Took my puppy to them for vaccinations and suture removal they left multiple stitches in ears and were unable to remove two due to growing into her skin every three weeks I was following up they never would schedule follow up visits my dog was late for shots because they failed to schedule next appt then when I got her an appointment 10 days after shots were due they refused to see her because I didn’t drop her off 9am. When appt was to drop her off anytime in am and pick her up when I got off work 30 min drive all to have to drive her back home and drop her off and now her vaccinations have to be started over I will never take any of my animals back here

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT customer service! We have been taking our pets there for quite some time and not once had anything but stellar service. The staff are very caring towards the animals so I feel very comfortable leaving our pets in their care. They are also a full service facility and are reasonably priced.

Great care. Glad when COVUD restrictions allow for talking to Dr in person.

We travel about 30 minutes to come here and I would travel so many more. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Riddell. He has went above and beyond for each of my furbabies. This is not just a job to him you can tell he truly cares. He first diagnosed one of our cats with cancer he followed her care all the way til the end. When we brought her in as an emergency he was not there but came in to see it through. I will never forget that. It meant so much not having to have those talks with a different vet. He handles my fearful not so friendly dog wonderfully. Others would just throw a muzzle on him but Dr. Riddell he takes however much time it takes to warm up to him. Sometimes there’s a wait but I never complain because they’ve taken us as an emergency before so I understand and I’m thankful not to be that owner that day. Trust me you don’t always see everything going on in the back. I would not trust my babies to anyone else. He is the best vet hands down in NC.

Overall the experience was great. My only issue is the price of the medication. 75$ for one single pill of heartworm prevention is outrageous. I agree that its important and my dog needs it but wow.
